Under the leadership of my puppet Warchief, Blackhand, we would be one mind, one Horde, one fist to crush the feeble creatures who might deny our power. Their blood would grease the engine of war.

Azeroth was a verdant world, yearning to be conquered. When our blades thirsted for blood, they were sated in human flesh. But there was something else – a hidden relic, a forgotten power that twisted even my own considerable faculties.   • Dominate Mind doesn't apply 'necrosis' debuff on transforming units
  • 'Execute' doesn't work on all maps
  • Cutscenes may not work correctly if heroes are loaded on transports when they start
  • 'Devour' ability doesn't work correctly for dragonriders
  • Warlord's Pyre uses wrong tooltip
  • Campaign shows 19 levels. Only 9 are playable (possibly 10)
  • No Chapter 8 (yet!)
Chapter 1
  • Load screen shows incorrect name for level
Chapter 2
  • Spamming 'reset' on Earth puzzle can break the maze, cause too much debris to spawn
  • Zuluhed cannot complete Wind Puzzle if he already has a full inventory when starting
  • Projectile launch and impact points incorrect on Alexstrasza
Chapter 3
  • Bandit Bounty quest sometimes doesn't count first tent, may not be able to be completed
  • Pathing issues between blue and red base
  • Kurdran can fly into inaccessible terrain, making it impossible to complete Grim Battle quest
Chapter 4
  • Durnholde and Dun Garok AI pathing issues - AI tries to target player across the water
  • Leaking sound artifact (crashing noise) at the center of the map
  • Firing Squad scene bugs out if any player units are nearby
  • Cages continue to be pinged after they're destroyed

This is the demo version of my campaign, Legacy of the Master.

Currently missing in this version are:

  • Chapter card graphics
  • Music
  • Unique hero voices
  • Alternate builds

As well as
  • Level 8: Broken Isles
  • Prologue (this will allow selection of alternate units, abilities, and hero builds)
  • Epilogue (this will include credits and unlocking human mode)
  • Cinematics
  • 2-4 bonus 'hidden' levels, including an alternate ending
This campaign draws directly from the novel Tides of Darkness, as well as Warcraft II, Warcraft Chronicle vol. II, & World of Warcraft. I have tried to stay fairly close to canon, but I have compressed certain events and conglomerated certain characters for the sake of story. Most notably, I've diminished the roles of Rend and Maim in favor of developing Zuluhed as a character.

I plan on updating when I can.

You did a great job in terrain, doodads and custom models and excellent description. Chapter 1: Banshees have true sight but they do not detect invisible units. The lava is visible throughout the map, even in unexplored areas. Needs more healing...

HAHA yes man this map u got save a lot or u gona have to torture restart trip... That deceiver by the side of the plataform puzzle is a funny one, south of the exit of the puzzle there is a passage, it also took me some time to figure this one out specially as he put that long mountain pass in the corner just to tease us...

It was great fun, although the terrain needs a couple fixes, like the edges that let you see the skybox, in regards with everything else:

-Missions (8/10)
-Terrain(9/10)
-Decoration(10/10)
-Heroes(9/10)
-Cinematics(7/10)

The only thing I disliked was chapter 8, not sure if a playable map would make sense but perhaps a cinematic, something better than just text.

it wasn't posted in this thread but I'm SO HAPPY you confirmed using Tauers models and StefanK is making you a Zuluhead one.

Any updates the community would GREATLY appreciate.

This is the most anticipated campaign everyone is watching along with Malfurions Quest full release and Curse of the Forsaken 3.0

there are three outcomes here

Computer exploded on @Rondstat end or something happened to prevent him from logging in since Aug 28th

Project is and Warcraft has simply been abruptly abadnoned by him

Or the hopefully best outcome

Hes feverishly working on the Prolgue, Cinematics, bugfixes and model implementations, and Chapter 8. and we will see full release in a few months.

lets all hope for the latter.

Just finished playing this campaign, It was decent in term of Gameplay, story and especially the environment which was amazing, Althought, it needs some fixes, the AI for example was quite hard and sometimes the units act weirdly, the cinematics were awesome! Here's my review :
Chapter One :
- You should add the "Locust" ability to the Blackrock flame and the Stormreaver corpes cause they can be selected during ingame and they have a shadow, apparently you played their "Decay Bone" animation instead of creating corpes and suspend their decay animation.
- Adding healing items could be helpful tho.
Chapter Two :
- The water trial : Don't you think the challenge area is a bit small?
- Was a tough mission but it has a good strategy.
Chapter Three :
- That Gryphon Hero was retreating till he got stuck at the borders of the map, The only way I managed to kill him was casting Death Coil on him (See the attachment below)
- Those Cannon Tower on the bridge cost me all my units cause they get stuck on that bridge during the combat with the dwarves :(
Chapter Four :
- Those Naga were vey annoying...
Chapter Five :
- What was the purpose of that Gold Mine at the start if there isn't any peons or townhall?
Chapter Six :
- Where's that Rod of Pain? I can't find it (Or am I just blind?)
- Very exhausting and frankly boring mission, killing 500 Elves was a real pain, what's the point of all that anyway?
- The AI was hard imo.
- Alleria has Reincarnation Ability? :eek:
Chapter Seven :
- Random Alliance units spawn after an attack wave? They just show up weirdly after I defeat a wave of attack?
- Constructing a Dragon Nest with 50 gold only? :p
Chapter Eight :
- Was this a chapter or interlude? All I saw was a black screen with texts...
Chapter Nine :
- There wasn't enough gold at the start I had to play this entire mission using the "Keysersoze" cheat lol
Chapter Ten :
- At the very end, they enemy units came straight to the portal, and all they did was standing there doing nothing?

Overrall, This campaign has good features and I liked the strategy and effort you've put on it regardless of the small bugs it has. I hope you will continue working on this porject and improve it. :)

This was a fanstatic campaign i'll tell you that and the puzzles they are spectacular i can't even put it into words such a masterpiece sadly every artist must have a mistakes at one point or another i'm just gonna point some of them out :
Chapter 1: Gul'dan does not mess around the dude think very logically on how to cross those dangerous lava things also although the banshees who true sight on them but they can't see me wtf ?
Chapter 2: It took me awhile to figure out the wind lord puzzles also the water lord puzzles is kind of hard if you give me such small space to move around and the terrain is pretty tight and it makes moving my troops around very hard and you should've told us not to kill alexstraza i accidently kill her with my troops and we fail the entire mission
Chapter 3: Gorefiend is OP and i love him also Cho'gall blood implosion and madness skill feels so weird to use for some reason
Chapter 5: I found a lot of secrets here not gonna tell anyone though but that witch skill is pretty hard to dodge with 5 priest buffing her and stuff and those whirlpool are so god damm annoying i can't move my boat around those things even if i didn't even get close i still take damage and the kraken tentacles were a massive jumpscare man can't you make some optional quest for me to slay a mini boss in order to stop those tentacles and whirlpool ? You should use less ships as well i hate those elven ships as hell oh and after i took down the burning blade clan chieftain (both the of the blademaster) the assassin unit didn't turn to my side also in the orge mound we already have orge magi
chapter 4:There's actually nothing wrong with this one beside those annoying nagas which keep attacking my base on shores the bases on shores are very hard to eliminate which makes it very challenging and fun actually
chapter 6:The AI attack so fast i couldn't even catch a breath also alleria with reincarnation ? and blinking ? holy crap she's the most annoying ass ranger ever also the dragon that destroy trees and rocks and bushes (took me awhile to find those bushes though and i didn't even know the elves can hide there) died very fast and i couldn't complete the quest with the dragon whelps because i can't use that rod of pain on them
chapter 7:There's actually nothing wrong with this one beside those annoying cannon shooting dick head with those fucking mortal teams that makes me want to chop my dick off because i can't kill them on time which makes me play that map for 4 times straight
chapter 8: Is this suppose to be an interlude or cinematic it's just a black screen with texts
chapter 9: Blackrock Spire is beautiful i can't believe how real it looks sadly the gold shortage is my biggest problem here luckily the enemy base didn't attack me after i wipe out there first wave
chapter 10:it's funny how Khaz Modan ground troops couldn't reach my base they just stay in the forest and stare also i found the green and bronze dragonflight puzzles but have no idea how to solve it and the molten giants from Gul'dan mask only betray you once i can use it for the rest of the 40 minutes also i can use gorefiend dominate mind skill on a peasant in order for them to build me a new base lol that's make it so much better i wish you have some humans dialouge for it like "they turn our forces against us or something like that"

It's frustrating that the instructions for the Water challenge are entirely given in the cutscene/cinematic, since that means they don't show up in the message Log. I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing, and there's no way to see the instructions again unless I start the level over.

I mean this was a roughly 80% finished beta and the creator is MIA so frustration is expected.

1. in the chapter 1 there is acolyte or i call so, which drop an orb after die in the east of map. But i can't go to that area.
2. why i can't go to the southwest of map after i killed 3 knight with warlock minion by my side? (i have 5 bone)

PSA @Rondstat updated this campaign with the full playable prologue and and will likely finish what he started afterall. He updated it sadly in the Map Development forum and not here.

Also many models were updated with Tauer's fantastic models for this update for Gul'dan, Cho'gall, Doomhammer, Blackhand, and various other artists. and since Tauer is working hard on modeling humans and Orcs from the Warcraft 1/2 era it will mesh fantastic! with this campaign!

Just letting fans know since this is a High Quality campaign with canonical story placement.

This campaign is truly underrated. A lot of love went into its making and I can see that it was quite the effort! It's a shame that the bugs, especially the pathing make it a tedious job, but it's worthwhile given the time and patience.

It'd be nice to fix the few known issues, it's quite frustrating not being to complete the 3rd chapter due to that flying hero.

It was sarcastic, I somehow got too much immersed and it never crossed my mind to put on some haxor. Nice thought!

There only needed to be finished a few maps and some bug fixes. This campaign has always been perfect. As a fan of WC2 events, I'm thrilled about this campaign and disappointed it hasn't been finished. Well, at least a few cinematics and one entire map that is missing. I liked the puzzles and a storyline. What I disliked is what creator did to Quel'thalas map where all units and buildings, except heroes, have decreased HP.

Man. If I ever have the time, maybe I can do something with it. As far as I see the only real part that's missing is the Sunken Isles level. Maybe cut down the Maiev Campaign map and tweak it into a cinematic or something.
This really does look like a high quality campaign.

Yeah but these two were canon and we just dont have any complete wc1 and wc2 era campaigns. Came close tho

Sure we have @LordPerenoldeII and his enhanced remakes but the aformentioned ones nailed their map design and wc3 gameplay vibe

Helldooms plauged with many breaking issues or just atrocious AI vs playing wc2. waiting moreso for lordperenolds recreation

Granted wc2 bnet is very much playable and enjoyable

Warcraft 1 is just atrocious to play. @LordPerenoldeII remake it the best way to experience wc1 these days

I played LordP the 2nd's WC1 Orc campaign. It was a lot of fun and worked just as you expect a WC1 game to work.
I was thinking what if you'd take adney's campaign, Desire's one and a half campaigns and also Fall of the Lion, mashing them together into one consistent campaign?

What a cool campaign, I've even wrote a big review because I'm on vacation right now :psmile::

Amazing terrain from my point of view, though some parts where so thin I had to command unit by unit to make them pass, I love when people make custom campaign based on the lore of warcraft

Chapter 1: It is a really good tutorial on how Gul'dan's demons works, but you could have put some more healing items in the first place, except for that I didn't have problems.

Chapter 2: This is one of the missions that the roads are to thin, given that I am really obssesive with my units trying to keep them alive all the time, I had a hard time making them walk the way I wanted, also Zuhuled when you put his skills in automatic, he buffs the ranged units first for some reason, it is an armor buff, why?.

Chapter 3: I love Gorefiend and his powers are pretty fun, as well as Cho'gall, but you should make the warlords revive or something, because of some wierd reason the allied AI just walks to the middle of the enemy base, receiving all kinds of attacks and doing nothing about it, once they reach the center of the enemy base the start attacking, I had to the restart the mission a couple of times because the warlord would get stuck between so many enemies and die.

Chapter 4: Great map, but if have bases only in the islands the enemy will not attack you.

Chapter 5: I loved this map, the secret dagger was very useful, the bad part is once you complete the side mission of killing all the enemy orc warchiefs and give you the orc ally base, the shared base will keep some of its AI and will move the soldiers and peons I create by its own, sometimes moving them out of combat and getting stuck.

Chapter 6: Good mission, except for the fact that couldn't complete the side quest of the whelps, the "road of pain" does nothing it can't be used on anything, the devour ability of the dragonriders is also buged, it can't be used (Also happening in every chapter after this one), the mission was easy but uncomfortably long

Chapter 7: Easy mission, the puzzle was easy except for the 4th part, where it seems that the elements trigger at random, I was stuck with the water elemental hitting my boat on a closed alley, had to cheat to win the puzzle, I like that you get an ally human, to it
annihilates the ally orc :sadpanda:

Chapter 9: Really good design of the fortress, I loved it, but the enemy just keeps sending units at an overwhelmingly phase and I can barely get any resources, had to cheat again.

Chapter 10: Really good final mission, it makes me feel bad for Zuhuled, I wish you could add some more demons to attack the gate, discovered that the dwarfs que stuck thanks to some wild ogres stucking the dwarf's path, the Ice wyvern with divine armos can be killed?. How am I supposed to solve the final puzzle with the spirit whelps? (It lacks instructions), the gate is bugged and is inside the terrain.

At the end is a really good terrain desing, but some bugs took me out of inmersion. but everything else is a 5/5, If you could fix the bugs or make a guide somewhere it will surely be an amazing campaign

Hints are useful.
Gul'dan's spell's are really good.
Zuluhed's spell's are good.
I like Teron Gorefield's spell's.
I like didn't like Cho'gall's spell's.
Awesome Triggers.

Good,Warlock's got auto cast spell's.(really need that).
Awesome Puzzle's.
Need better Icons for Demon soul and Warlord's pyre.
Uther's model is really bad.
Human Techtree seems good.
Dwarf Techtree is really bad.
Elves Techtree is nice.
It's good that Teron can use Death Coil spell on Himself.
Dragonrider's Devour spell can't Devour anything.
Dragon roost can be builded anywhere.(almost).
Chapter one:Nice Terrain.
Optional Quest is good but hard to complete.(I did it)🙂😀.
I cannot drop Shadow orb.
Gul'dan's second spells hotkey doesn't work in level up panel(When you what to choose your next level).
Give more Tips when crossing that fire field.

Platforming is good.
It would be better if the corpse's weren't an item.
What was the good of killing that wizard in that ice??.
Sayaad run between phantom's and only a couple of them noticed her.
Chapter two:Nekro skull crusher is a hero who can't attack and got only one spell??.
There is something wrong with that mini map.(something really wrong).
Optional Quest brilliant.
Awesome Terrain.
That earth maze was to hard.
Water test,hard,a bit.
Orastrasz(That red dragon guarding the demon soul) is too powerful.
Why i Can't train javeliner's .
Chapter three:Optional Quest's are good.
Terrain is Beautiful.
There are red Rocks,Why? were not in Dreanor.
I found some hostile ogre magi..... weren't they suppose to be made later???
A bit more time Between attacks would be REALLY NICE.
That green base to the North(light green)is heavily guarded,too hard to breach.
Mission is not over until Kurdran Wildhammer is dead.(so make him run less).
Chapter four:This Island is too small and it lack's gold.
As soon as i get control of the island Burning blade chieftain becomes ally.(not controllable).
There is a research in the barracks called Envenomed blades which i can't do and back pack research as well.

Units armor and attack upgrades doesn't work on skeletons(war mill upgrades).
Terrain is good.
Why should a bandit lord guard Zul'jin.
There is a rock breaking sound and it's really annoying.(it don't stop for no reason).
Chapter five:Too hard to finish.
Terrain is very good but still need's time.
People in Tyr's hand talk to much, every time one of my units move next to them they talk.
Hostile mages to the northeast they call themselves '.Conclave.'(WOW i found Xal'atath blade of the black empire.(don't know if it was a part of the story)
Killing the Rune wardens cost to much.
I found an Elder Lynx to the northwest.
What's up with those oblisk's they got huge HP.
Chapter six:Terrain is good.
Siege golems that are guarding the rune stones got the same damage as war war golems.
When i tried to use rod of pain on dragon whelps it said.(unable to use on friendly units).
Chapter seven:Getting out of that mountains is really hard.(enemy is over powerd).
Heroes give tips it's good but what's its use when i cant do it.
Terrain is very good BUT i think it would be better if attacking the capital was a separate map,that way you had more space to make a huge battle.
Getting that artifact was fun.
Alliance doesn't use uther to attack.(not sure).
Chapter nine:Terrain is good.
This chapter is yet again really hard.
Camera choice for Lothar fight was a good idea.
A huge bug will happen if you skip talking with Lother.
Chapter ten:Terrain is really awesome.
A dark wizard is commending alliance forces in goblin camp's.
A lot of Dialog's.
They attack Zuluhed insted of portal most of the times.
That dragon puzzle,i can't finish it.

This campaign is really good i like it, i don't know if you ever update it but i will be happy to play it. :infl_thumbs_up: :infl_thumbs_up: :thumbs_up:

excellent campaign, I am one of the few who started with warcraft 3, but with a campaign like this I can understand what happened before, I only knew until the first war, but the second was unknown to me. I must say that I liked it a lot, maybe fix some little things but leaving that I liked it a lot. The first time I played it, I got stuck in the first part of Zuluhed, but I played it again and started to understand the puzzle. Without further ado, this campaign is one that I can recommend to anyone who wants to quickly understand what happened in the second war.

You should stream this Custom campaing becuse its exactly warcraft 2 Second war and maded on book Tides of Darkness
I just got started with this one and the beginning of the first map is an insufferable slog. I've read many good things about this campaign and I look forward to getting to the better parts.
