Some else stuff about map:

At first I apologize for my bad english.
This Campaign is not a RTS Campaign it´s an Action Roleplaying Game that means almost all opponents also the small ones need strategic gameplay you have to play it like a console game that you have to avoid attacks all the time, plus permanent button smashing
to activate the 15 abilities of the hero.

- Think abstractly If you are fans of The last Guardian and The Chosen Ones, this campaign is a mix of both.

Good Luck Have Fun

The Endboss of the second Act is a really hard one and needs patience to be beaten.
You have to use the stone of ghosts which can make ghosts of fallen Allies visible.

A little mini-boss in the first Act, you have to use Loki a tiny wolf to bring bombs into the mouth of the dragon.

Yes,... the second Bonus-Mission is a short beat-em up game, with complete working AI.

All Allies in "The Emerald of Power" have different names and will tell you useful information, if you click on them.

Change Log:

- First Creeps in the first mission are weaker.
- And Anticheat activated!

1.02 Changes: - All Acts are now directly available, for whose who already finished an act, expecting the Bonus-Missions ^^.
- Because of VengeanceKaels idea of creating a Bar which shows the Castingtime.
I implemented a Multiboard, which shows Lifepoints and Level and:
--> in druidform: Mana and Castingtime/Channelingtime
--> in bearform: Rage
--> in Catform: Energy and Combopoints

1.03 Changes: - 1. A Bug at the beginning of the first act, in which you were already able to morph into druidform before the part ends.
If you already started the second act, play the first part only in bearform.

- 2. Some Environment Changes in the second Act.

1.04 Changes: - Changed that the terrorwolf at the beginning of the first act, sometimes directly renews the sommoned wolves. But I didnt changed the damage or HP of the Wolf because I think he is easy enough. Read the comments beneath to read my guide to kill the Terrorwolf.

1.06 Changes: It´s because I changed more than usual.
- 1. The Endboss of the first act is much weaker now.
- 2. I fixed some bugs according to the speeches of the NPCs after clicking them.
- 3. I fixed the multiboard, now the keys which you gather in the dungeons in the second and third act are shown again.
- 4. The Doomguard quest in the second act.
- 5. For improving the ambiente, I implemented a random sound, when you click a villiger.
- 6. I comprimized the size of the Campaign and I hope, that my campaign will work now for most of the players.

Coming Soon: Actually I am working at the 4th Act, were will be a system you never saw before. Also I am thinking about a skill tree system, but propably it will be implemented later.

And don´t forget that you can click on every NPC in the towns: All of them have different names and give you useful Hints.

Gameplay:

There are no different combat systems, but custom spells taken from World of Warcraft with neat effects and fitting icons.
The campaign also contains a lot of puzzles, starting with really easy ones, but it gets too hard too fast.
The little moonglade wolves are also too strong in the beginning, your character is quickly out of mana and his spells take a long time to cast, so I actually had to use cheats.
There are also some unnecessary cutscenes, like when you've killed the first wolf boss, you could just display the only message shown in that cutscene on the screen.
The map is based on warcraft lore, so it's not completely original, but it is quite interesting, with Cenarius being dead and the evil chick working with the night elves secretly.
There aren't a lot of custom items (stats changing ones).
However the enterable buildings are really cool, you can enter one right away without having to pan the camera or waiting for a cutscene to finish, the building just gets transparent.

Terrain:

Huge maps, well filled and natural looking with lots of foliage, but some custom night elf plant doodads would have made the environment shinier and more fresh-looking.
There are also some pathing problems, like the high cliff in the small village where Nele's house lies, maybe make it possible to go up there from both sides.

Other:

The dialogues aren't really well written and too sudden, try to seperate some messages into more transmissions.
Also it would be nice if a casting time counter would appear above the druids head when you're casting a spell.

Overall:

A long and huge campaign, with puzzles and custom spells, but with some things lacking in the terrain, as well as the bad writing and no combat/gameplay changing systems.

Plz Comment my campaign, it´s my first upload and until now i´m afraid that it could be too hard to solve.

- Tell me if you find bugs and abuses.

- Also if there are passages and riddles which you aren´t able to solve.

The first 3 minutes of the game are really calm, but then the action starts so give it a chance ^^ :)

Good luck have fun

If you use cheats for the whole game all combat tactics become unneccessary^^
No Gameplay variations ^^ seems that my Anticheat system didn´t work propably. but in my own personal test I was able to kill all wolves with 80% lifes left but I´m gonna update it. But with Anticheat.^^

Important Edit: My editor skills improved from map to map. you will recognize this ^^ In Addition cinematics are skipable from the beginning of the second Act ^^

ACTUALLY I AM WORKING ON THE 4th ACT! SO IF YOU LIKED IT STAY TUNED!

And please give me more feedback, positive and negative.

Important: There is a bug at the beginning of the second Act, you have to play the first part of the act in the emerald green dream in bearform please if you finish the act in druidform it could cause some bugs.

t shouldnt be possible to morph into druidform at the beginning of the second act, I will change it in the next uploaded Version.

Ill try this one....

Nice game but please reduce the difficulty.... in the first mission when killing the wolf...
Rate 4:5

At first, thanks for the Rating ^^

I want to force the player to think always tactically, maybe it´s because I played 3 years of ladder in the battle.net ^^ but. You have to use the dryad in the beginning to tank the wolves she has 900 hp.

My Campaign only needs some training, I wanted you sometimes to get some problems in the game, but all Opponents and Bosses can be beaten with 90% Hp left, you only have to pay attention. But this is a demo, if you really don´t know how to come further. Please, Instead of cheating, post the passage here and I will help you.

hey in the first map there are little flying creatures ant the statues with the shockwave i dont know how to pass them

You can easily kill the flying creatures by attacking them, they are flyling but you can attack them, use the catform.

In this room you have to push a statue on a botton, easily attack the statue with A-Click

If the statue stacks in a corner, kill the Lever to return the Statue.

The statue moves in the direction your hero is looking to.

Click the golden wisp to get a hint. You can click on every golden wisp in the Game to get a Hint.

Can't play this at all. As soon as I select this campaign in the custom campaigns menu, Wc3 either freezes or auto-exits.

Does this only happens with my campaign?

Maybe you turn the Grafics down or higher. I will post another version soon, because Actually all Imported Data is spread over all 5 maps that ia the reason why the campaign has a size of 22MB. Maybe this will cause lesser Errors.

the fight with wolf... what is he when doing? he always kills me with this sliding light because when hes in position he moves randomly to another near my units and i have no time to avoid. and the 2 miniwolfs are a joke, arent them? everytime i attack them they renew. and they damage my dryad too much. the healing-spell is with only 120 lp and a 3,5 sec casttime absolutely useless...

Yeah that first wolf boss was pretty hard. Abolish magic kills them instantly, but he just recasts them...maybe it's best to abolish one of them and leave the other? The healing spell is totally useless, it's true, and you run out of mana way too fast.

Not a well implemented Boss Fight. You're dead before you know what's happening, really. Perhaps the wolves should do less damage, so you have a little more time to figure out what's going on. The shockwave is brutal.

This fight is easy believe me, use the hotkeys to do abolish magic, try to use abolish magic not too often before against the other wolves. He only renews them sometimes in the beginning that´s right i will fix this, but it´s easy to avoid the shockwave, he only targets Zunariel and never the dryad, use the dryad to tank, she has 900 hp ^^.

Then the fight starts and he spawns 2 wolves w8 some secs, if he doesn´t renew them directly after 2-4 seconds again, dispell them.(sometimes there is this bug ok but I released it either, because I thought that it wouldnt be such a big problem Version (1.03).)

I´m sorry I played ladder at a very high level several years ago. I changed their difficulty in my first changes. They are beatable with 90% hp left, I promise.

You can lame a little bit through slowing the wolf with the dryad and pull him with the druid so he cant hit you, but there are a lot of other tactics to beat him.
Avoid the shockwaves and you cant loose.

I didnt want to create a casual game, this game should be as hard as a game on a console like god of war or prince of persia, Zelda etc... . In my game you are always forced to move
to avoid, to permanently push a botton. This game is not beatable like a normal roleplaying game, through pushing A-click and to heal urself when the HP is low.

You only have to practice it´s like any other game, you will get used to it and the game will become more and more easier I promise. And I promise that you will have a lot of fun beating the game. GL HF

Just to follow up with what you asked, I did test other campaigns, they do work, so I can't explain why this would happen. It's the first time playing any campaign that this has ever happened.

Well I tried the newest version, still the same thing, it freezes up as soon as I hit the play campaign option. Too bad I guess. I'd liked to have been able to play it. Oh well :(

the campagin is well made and looks pretty good, but it seems that in order to beat many of the bosses the player has to have an almost godlike knowledge of the bosses and what they can do. in your earlier description of the wolf boss fight and how to defeat it you describe things that a player could never truly know(the fact that the shockwave has a particular target) you need to understand that players dont have your knowledge of the campagin and can never have your knowledge having not been the creators. you need to either simplify the fights or remove the abhorent anticheat, to allow more people to enjoy the campagin

How do I get stealth-claw-item in 2nd act? I took a quest from Dajero, the hint showed up, but I can't find it neither in my inventory nor near the questgiver

Sorry guys I was offline for a long time because I started studying at the university and had no time for editing. I´m glad that you got to Dajero Lavarunner cool to hear. So maybe the stealth claw is in your second inventory, but it could have happened that, because both of your inventories were full the claw didn´t appeared which I think is impossible because I am sure that I got rid of these bugs.

To the bosses, I wanted to create a game were you have to push buttons and move your hero all the time, like in a console game or a game like God of war, super mario who cares and not a normal role playing game or RTS game like Diablo.
So learn the buttons and use common wc3 tricks like pulling enemies back( good trick to beat the wolves in the first chapter ), using the environment to block.

I still won´t change the bosses. Actually I am working at my new campaign which will continue the story of the Emerald of Power but with new hero"es" and a totally new gameplay. ( If you are fans of the HeroRPG or Final Fantasy you will love it), I had already finished the first intro-missions and will hopefully release it soon. It will be an opened world campaign were you can switch from map to map.

The bosses are hard and not fun at all. If you think that i should use skills, tricks, running around and etc. to beat them that is good, but you didn't execute that task well.
For example, there's a map called "Dreamvale", which is pretty damn hard too in places and it takes you to the extent of your ability, but it does so in an interesting way, and if i fail to beat a boss i see where i made a mistake and retry again without doing it. Or try a diffrent tactic.
Here however if i want to beat the boss, skill and trick aren't enough. He just uses one spell and WHAM. Half of my hp is gone. Okay, i managed to survive the little wolves, dodge all the shockwaves somehow with a ton of luck(since it's pretty damn wide and my movementspeed is hardly enough). And STILL i can't beat him. Sure, i killed him in the next battle with cheats, but if those are a must, then there's something wrong with your campaign. At least if you don't intend to make the bosses weaker, let players choose the difficulty.

Other than that the terrain and most other things were from quite good to very good. I would rate it 4/5(the story was also a little shallow, simple and boring in some places. Not all of it though.), but unfortunately it's unplayable right now so i won't rate it yet. Normaly i wouldn't rate a map less because of the difficulty, but in this map i wouldn't call it difficulty, more like something that makes the map unplayable. Usually, even if i can't win some map i know that it is possible to win, for example The Impossible Bosses map. I never actually beat it, but it's really damn fun, even if i lose all the time. And i know the bosses there are beatable, it's simply me who can't do it(or perhaps i can't work in a team well enough for it :D). Here it's not like that. I just get to the first boss, who kills me as if i was a rabbit in the pawns of a starving wolf before i realise what's happening. No skill in any game should take half of your health away. Not unless it's a nuke that takes a few seconds of channeling and you see it coming. Have you actually TRIED beating that boss yourself anyway?

Yup, it happened because my inventory (probably both) was full. So I replayed the campaign, and guess what - stealth-claw didnt work. I followed the hint's instructions, but the victim kept looking back and repeating the same phrase when i put the item. It maked me stop playing this campaign.
The wolf boss wasnt that hard, I beat him in two tries. It's simple: just step aside when he stops attacking and starts channeling shockwave, dispell minor wolves by dryad. The succubus boss was reeeally hard, you have to evade swarm and blizzard, what is way too annoying, and control little wolf to pick up item and run to the succubus. Not to mention the boss' illusion who keeps attacking you.
Also i found a bug right before the dragon boss: if you step on a platform where you have to push statue, Zunariel becomes invulnerable.
Dont get me wrong, I really like this campaign, but you need to fix it.

I am able to beat all bosses in the whole game with 90% hp left and i played them all like i wouldn´t know their clues, like i get hit by the shockwaves 1-2 times or against the succubus or the dragon i let myself get hit, but I am always able to beat them. almost all bosses have a channeling time of 2.5 second like the wolfboss before they start their ability in this 2.5 seconds all you have to do is to step aside and the shockwave won´t hit you. And before I released the campaign I beat it 3x times completely ^^, but of course I am the editor i know all tricks so i needed your opinion.

I will release it with 1 Act in addition with some cool innovations and new terrain design. You will have multiple choice dialogues which you had never seen before ^^ (hint: no click-on-buttons :))

Additionally I am an ex-wc3-pro-gamer so maybe I am expecting too much of normal wc3 mod casual gamers so I apologize.

But I will never nerf the first boss maybe the Endboss of Act 1 ok ^^ but never the first ^^.

My TFT freezes every time I select the campaign from the menu... trying with lowest graphics but I don't have much faith. This sounds really awesome and I would love to play it. Any help/suggestions?

easiest way to beat the wolf boss: write 'iseedeadpeople', walk in, watch the cinamatic, move to the bottom of the map where is a footman attacking a farm, order him to move away from the farm and write 'whosyourdaddy' twice quickly(you have to write it second time before the cinematic starts, but it is possible)... Zunariel, make that anti-cheat area smaller to prevent me from doing this, it made me feel awesome

chap1:
-Mark of the Wild has no duration in its description and its buff is called and looks like Roar
-need a certificate, huh? Nelves are pretty savage for that kind of thing
-suddenly, wolves appeared out of nowhere in all the north-eastern part of the forest
-units selected during cinematic mode
-cinematic mode skip
-trying to get to Maya instead of her sister/the other dryad, teleports the hero back some paces
-tried to skip the cinematic scene when meeting the dryad in Understar and got a defeat message...

Until the annoying issues are fixed, I won't continue, probably. I've already started the map two times having to wait for every cinematic scene. Leaving this here just in case.

A decent campaign, albeit with some space for improvement besides the previous aforementioned comments.
  • Act III has a problem regarding its lack of hint for defeating the final boss (that I struggle even more than its Act II counterpart), so I have to set aside that part for now.
  • Huge filesize for save files later in the campaign is also an issue too, since it could be annoying for having to wait longer than usual.
I have recorded my playthroughs for this campaign and its (ongoing) sequel, Sechiron Rises. Its eventual completion depends, and I can also send you my savefiles if you're so interested.
