There are three ways you can contact us


Staff Contact

When contacting the staff, you will be posting a thread in the Staff Contact forum. Every member of the staff will be able to respond to you and other members won't be able to see your thread, so it is private. We expect this way to be the most commonly used method.
This forum will typically be used for the following reasons:
  • If you have problems with a another member of the site.
  • If your resource was rejected or deleted and you need clarification, help or a second opinion.
  • If you want to report anything suspicious or nefarious.
  • If you have feedback to the moderators.

Admin Contact

This forum works like the Staff Contact forum, but only administrators are able to respond to and see the inquiry. This forum will typically be used for the following reasons:
  • If you have problems with your account or want to change your username.
  • If you have a problem with a moderator.
  • If you want your account disabled.
  • If you have registered an account and the system told you that other accounts are registered with the same IP as yours.
  • If you are banned and would like to appeal.
  • If you want to inquire about project hosting.
  • If you wish to affiliate with The Hive Workshop.

Admin Contact

Email Ralle

This is not a forum, but a contact form, which can be used without being registered on the site. The form will send an email to Ralle, who is the owner of the site. Nobody else will know that this form was used or by who.
While Ralle has the ability to do anything on the site, be it moderator or admin tasks, he prefers not to be contacted unless the matter regards the following:
  • You have a problem with an administrator.
  • You have problems registering or forgot the credentials to your account.
  • You wish to have a private conversation with Ralle and don't want an account.
  • You are interested in advertising on the site.
This is not to say that Ralle does not wish to talk, but if something can be solved by the first two options, that would be preferred.

Before you make use of the present forum, make sure that you understand the reasons why the forums have been split into Admin Contact and generic Staff Contact.

Contact Us

This forum can be used to contact the staff. It is recommended that you use the general Staff Contact (administrators will as well respond there), unless you have account issues or a problem with (a) certain moderator(s) and therefore use the Admin Contact sub-forum.

More specifically, you can either request or ask questions regarding a scenario in this site that has been bothering you. With this forum, you no longer have to privately ask moderators and/or administrators to help you with a problem of yours.

Basic Info

  • The generic "Staff Forum" is containing user inputs that are private and visible only to the submitter and the moderators.
  • Alternatively, the "Admin Contact" is addressing administrators and emergency cases or cases that cannot be handled or do not fall in the area of a moderator's practices.
Once an input has been solved, it will be marked accordingly and archived.

The implementation of the expanded Staff Contact forum is increasing the chance of your requests to be handled more accurately and promptly, by simultaneously allowing the whole Staff to participate in the input and a fair solution to be found.

Do note that this is not a Site Discussion forum. There is already a forum for that, so matters of bugs within the site and/or site suggestions should be posted in the mentioned location.

By leaving an input, you agree with the following terms:

  • Patience is a virtue; just because your case has not received a reply, it does not mean that it is necessarily ignored. A solution might be under discussion behind the scenes.
  • You are not supposed to be discussing disciplinary actions against or in favor of a certain member or group of members, since it opposes our respective policy.
  • Be as accurate as you can, when posting a problem, because you are guaranteed to be receiving an answer sooner than expected.
  • Caps lock are not allowed - it will only serve as a restraining factor.
  • "The customer is always right"; not in every case, apparently. Insanity over reasoning is not the best consultant, so, you are pleased not to transfer your emotional cloud into your inquiry.
  • Make sure that you address the right questions in the appropriate forum (Staff Contact) or child-forum (Admin Contact).
  • Make sure that the case you will be referring to makes sense in terms of our Rules.
