    I personally just host them on bnet and you find people to play on it pretty quick

    I takes minutes to find even just 1 person willing to play and even then you're not guarenteed to get feedback.
    I've barely played melee so there's only so and so much i can test on my own.
    What i want is 50%+ players that are able to stress and find exploits.
    I tried several melee discords and streamers, but there's not much help to be found.

    Out of nowhere pillars of devestating power penetrated the earth and began to spread the void around them. Now the last remaining forces is at war over the scarce resources left on their consumed and shattered land.

    just a friendly hint (dont feel bad about it, there is time to fix/ map, you can edit the submition before the contest ends), probably any beta-tester/ melee mapper will tell you this:

    Melee maps for competitive play are in general done in 96x96 and or 128x128.

    64x64 is very small for competitive melee.

    I will also participate, however I will take the boring option of picking on of my "old" maps for this contest.

    On a sidenote, I will not review/moderate any of the contest entries until after the results of the contest are out.

    Hm u should go to some meele clan channels, i had no problem at all with testing, but it may help when u are a good meele player urself and know lots of high lvl players.. on which server are u? mb i can help a bit

    Guys I'm improving the map changing the units in the canyon for destructibles dead version, however they all are set as the same team color (red). How can I fix that to set human units blue and red for the horde units?

    I think only with triggers can be done: create:... facing angle, team color... I rememeber it from the orc TFT campaings, green theramore footmans deads.

    Dont do that, change the doodads will set the map as melee: no, use skulls and remain scorched instead.

    The Syndicate's Hive updated and tested. It's really funny the way you could use goblin mines in the map. Added some sound effects for bandits camps lore like (Sylvana's and Mug'thol for example)... custom units trapped in cage (swordman for humans, warlock for orcs, necromancer for undead and archers for nighe elves) in each mercenary camp.
    If you think I could improve something else just let me know.

    @adamcg Uther's Slumber? That's a blast from the past :D Be wary of the empty space between the trees though. Other than that it's a great map.

    Nudl9 maybe keep in mind that there is a SV (secret valley) in the current pool alrdy so it will be hard to Identify ur map later. ; )

    I can remover the triggers. They are justo for sounds and cages that enhance the melee experience so it's OK.

    Update The Syndicate's Hive : added non-trigger version.
