      Hi there, I just wanted to know if I make a melee map called Amazonia 2--which is a remaster of the famous melee map Amazonia--then will there be any room for approval? My plan is to add more features to the map such as a fountain of health near the tavern at the middle and much more...And to keep Amazonia 2 as balanced as the original Amazonia.

        Yeah normally I would do that. But here I failed to "approve" the map when trying to moderate it the first time. Then I didnt find out how to approve it except by using the "moderate" button again and writing another comment. Is there a better way?

        I had trouble with it in the beginning as well.
        Just, write a message/post. Then, tick it on the little white square on its lower part to the far left, mark it as a review. Then go to the green Moderate button and tick the round next to Awaiting Update/Approved/Substandard/Pending.
        You don't have to have any text in the comment box that appears when you press Moderate, since it can make you to double post.

      Well, aren't Footmen smaller so they need to be more than Grunts to encircle properly? Basically/partially a grunt is kind of two footmen in what the pathing/selection scale is concerned?

        Sadly, I think there might be heroes with larger pathing/selection scale/circle which is problematic for balance because some of them don't have fast movement speed.

        I checked in the editor and all heroes have the same collision size. Movement speed varies indeed. Of course, faster is better, but imho wc3 is sufficiently balanced despite this (though maybe the recent patch may have changed things for worse). Do you have any specific concerns?

My first post of this topic was a mistake (thats why I delete it)... so tell me, did you succeded in that, do you know more that are interested?.       I learned from Orange that he didn´t like one cliff level of the map because there was no scout limit for farms and wisps. Cliff is very complicated someones doesn´t like it (do to towers exploit) and others think is a must to refrain scouting. And others like some terrain exploit.

        Orange is the guy who had a youtube review for the map contest? In any case, most ladder maps have no cliffs at all, or only very few. But I think your map is really very experimental so I'm not sure if the normal "rules" really apply.

        Yes that one. I re-watched studied his points. Also I saw a match of him being NE against orcs, and he won. In a moment he said that he didn´t like 1 cliff level. I think he said it in the first video with the first maps. He said he liked some more levels to cut vision. He said if I put a farm here and here and I can predict all enemy movments.

      You could use hidden tags and tables instead of spoilers as the last make too much a dark background to read on. Or, maybe you could find a proper colour text to not tire the eyes.
