The Kingdom of Kaliron has returned to its former glory!

That's right, the Crimson Creations team is back with the return of TKoK 3.0.

What is new in 3.0?

• Hero overhauls and remakes as well as new heroes
• Threat System to allow tanks to control the mobs better and protect the party
• Stat and Substat system revamp
• Brand new Inventory / equipment menu coded from scratch to suit our needs better
• Talent trees for every hero with base abilities, improved effects, and hero bonuses
• Terrain improvements in all the zones as well as many new areas never seen before
• Scripted mini boss events so they now actually are mini bosses
• Many new boss fights and each fight with its own bonus mode of challenges for those that seek harder game play.

Many many more updates that would just take forever to explain... So why not download it and join the fun?

Hi everyone!

There have been a bunch of things going on recently but individually they aren't really worthy for news posts of their own. So yeah.

First off, the arena:

• Modeling contest #15 is underway. Theme this time is "colossus".
• Zephyr challenge #6 has just started with the theme being "summoned units".
• Phoenix trial #6 poll is currently in near-deadlock and needs some more votes!
• While you're voting on that poll, vote on Texturing contest #15's poll as well!
• Cinematic contest #4 poll needs some votes too, although unfortunately there are only two entries.
• The contest templates have been updated.
• And I made a thread with all of the resources that are used in the arena. (So things like award icon templates and stuff)

And some other news from around the site:

• Chat colors have been removed for all non-donors! If you want these colors back (and more!) then download PurplePoot's chat client. You can use my userlist as a starting point, if you want.
• DonDustin is now a moderator for the models section!
• A bit late, but Pyramidhe@d and enjoy are also moderators for the icons section, replacing oh_snap and Zombie.
• D3W is up to 1.19
• "Respected User" award icons' meaning has been changed so it no longer includes former moderators who were just on the staff for a while. A new award, "Former Staff Member" is now used for the same purpose.
• kharma's Hive Quote Database is now back online and running. The backlog of quotes has been moderated so go check it out and don't forget to vote on them!

Hai everyone!

I've gone through and approved all of the pending linkbacks and refbacks that have been building up ever since we installed vBSEO last year. There were over 550 pages! D:

Anyway, linkbacks and trackbacks show where other people on other sites have linked to a thread here on the hive. So when they link to us, we link back to them.

Why is this useful? Well, if you submitted a map or resource you can see where it is being linked to. With these you can see if other sites are promoting your map, suggesting your model for their project, and so on!

Not all of these links will be "good" though. If you happen to find a link/trackback to a site that promotes/hosts ripped or stolen resources, please report it! You can do this by either sending me a PM/VM or by posting in admin contact (Although they'll just forward it to me).

Update:
Apparently every time someone made a linkback to your thread that you had a "send me an email" subscription on, it would send you an email. I did not know about this, so I apologise!

Ralle has disabled any new linkbacks from sending emails, but for the time being you'll just have to delete any emails you receive. Sorry!
