One of the troll heroes remained far north on the middle lane after the enemy base was destroyed. In the orc victory cinematic scene, the main troll protagonist was red and the other two heroes were neutral hostile coloured. I think the ALT+A/Ally...

Ok I decided to check it out, but a huge disclaimer first:
- I did not play through the entire map, I mostly used the reveal whole map cheat to see how the map itself is built.

Generally, I like it. The only real thing that bothers me is that the orcs you control do not have chaos damage even though they're red (I guess they're supposed to be Mag'har orcs or however it is spelled) but I guess for balance it's not too bad of a thing but then comes my next point about this "issue":
If it's a multiplayer map then I can understand if you want to balance it like that since chaos damage can be strong, but this is a single player experience and I think the player should be allowed a lot of things; having chaos damage on red orcs being one of them.
Apart from this thing, the balance of the allies and enemies seemed good enough, although I do not know if the enemies get stronger as you push their bases but 1 of the 3 lanes of my allies was slowly losing, the other 2 seemed to be winning; the middle one specifically.
The terrain is definitely okay but needs some adjustments I guess. Maybe make it not so flat (the rest is okay).

For now I'd give it 4/5. Definitely seems like a good customized single player experience which directly puts you into the battlefield where many armies collide.

PS: I won't rate it yet since I want to play it through without cheats and completing it (plus I noticed some secrets around the map).

Thanks, dude! The "Mog'thar", in the LOA gameplay don't have chaos damage to begin with.

Furthermore, this was my first time making a tug of war map so the map layout isn't too good but not too bad...

And finally, this map isn't intended to be a multiplayer map anyways.

  2. In the orc victory cinematic scene, the main troll protagonist was red and the other two heroes were neutral hostile coloured. I think the ALT+A/Ally Colour Mode was toggled.
  3. Since you have fog of war on the previously discovered map and not black mask, you can pretty much know where to go from the start since you can see the road blocks.
  4. Claw is selected during the meeting scene with Paul.
So, it's a really nice map that could use some custom scripted abilities and more gameplay mechanics but all in all it's good, however, derivative work.
I would raise more thumbs if this gets turned into a (mini) campaign or a series of maps.

ADDITIONAL NECESSARY INFORMATION
  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.
