As some of you already know, I will start hosting hiveworkshop.com from a different location soon. I am going to host the server myself. I have recently ordered hardware for the server.
The new hardware will improve the performance of the server a whole lot. We will be getting 4 GB of ram, a dualcore 2.8 Ghz processor and two 500 GB RAID drives.

I hope this project will go very well.

Please consider donating to hive, since this leaves a big hole in my own bank account.

Project leaders may decide if the text is displayed in the loading screen image or the loading screen text. Special projects must credit The Hive Workshop in a splash screen or readme file. The credit text must be present within 30 days of the project's initial publication.

We would like all hosted projects to fullfill this requirement within four weeks. If they are not fulfilled, they may be suspended.

Due to so many users wanting to change their username, we have made the following rules:

General Rules -> Username Changes said:

Users may request that their account name be changed by creating a thread in The Hive Workshop's Admin Contact forum.
A user may request a name change only once.
The proposed new name must not presently be in use.
Users must have no infractions and the administration shall judge each case on an individual basis.
Users with fewer than 100 posts may be renamed without further obligation.
Users with 100 or more posts may be renamed only for a fee.
For accounts with fewer than 1000 posts, the fee is $20.00.
For accounts with 1000 or more posts, the fee is $20.00 per 1000 posts, fractions rounded UP.

Hello everyone
I have heard that some of you are so kind to spread negative rumours about me spending the donations (which are dedicated to hive) on marshmellows, pornography and other junk.
I would like to tell you that most of the money are spent for the servers themselves since they at the moment cost 150$ per month. If there are not enough money to cover them, I will pay from my own pocket, but if there are money left, they will be saved for the next month.

All money will be spent on improving hive and it will continue to be like that.
I spend ~4 hours per day and have done it the last three years. What have I earned? Even if I did put those money in my own pocket it would be like 1 cent per hour in pay. I am not here to get your money, I am here to do the right thing. Your appreciation is my pay.
