It's supposed to be a historical battle but the gameplay implies magic (regular Warcraft III abilities too). Way gates also don't make sense.

It's a nice map, and having AI is a great bonus. It's just a bit lacking in terms of tooltips and custom units/content.

So while, it's has nice terrain, can be played in multiplayer and has AI, the gameplay is not different from the original game's. In terms of altered melee it's kind of reskinning/recycling.
A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.
Well I won't remove hero spells/abilities only for historical accuracy. Makes no sense for me. Think of it like a reinterpretation of mythical elements. It would be the same if someone made the battle in Age of Mythology. The way gate makes sense to connect the top base with the two bottom bases. Otherwise, Romans can simply focus on the top base and it will be harder to get help (only scroll of town portal).
