Palisade

Submitted by Mike
This bundle is marked as approved. It works and satisfies the submission rules.
A quite simple useful model. Wooden palisade as in Evil Islands. Placing them close to each other you can build a wooden fort. Has death and stand hit animations.

I like it, while the stone needs a bit of work it is a very useful model.

    Good on ye, Mike :D

Personally, i think it looks a bit awkward with the long, upwards poles like that... i'm not sure what their purpose are and they make the units look a bit small. Other than that it looks approvable, gonna review this in a moment.

Mike, there's an advice I gave you sometime ago and I'll repeat it: try making your meshes crooked. This is WC3, not Call of Duty, or anything like that. In WC3 things are cartoonish, not-so-realistic, non-parallel. (Of course, if you dislike WC3 aesthetics, you can keep yourself with your own)

And yeah, one issue I see is the big resolution conflict between the too hi-res wood and the low-res stone.

I highly recommend you add a list of words at the bottom to help the search engine. Words like barricade, spike, wood, fortress, fence.

That's shmexy and useful! The only thing is that it seems rather small in terms of height, pikemen could reach these roflemen from the front.

My only recommendation is to change the texture of the stone, there are textures like:

Mountain Giant, Human UI, Campaing Human UI, wa gate textures, etc that could do an even better job.
