Final Entry

This is my submission for this contest. I have attached here:
- .pds files as a proof of my work

Alright, here it is, my third and final icon... the cake! :D
Tell me what you think! It's not the same quality as the others, I had to rush it. Also, I forgot to save WIPs, but I hope it's still okay. I'll make an ingame screenshot now and my final submission.

EDIT: Also, the plate you see here is the same plate I used in the Pancake icon, I hope that's okay.

Added the ingame screenies, hope they will open you all a door to new and unbelieveable wisdom and facts that you could have never thought of.

Also.... if I remember correctly a Phoenix Trial is about icons and what they are displaying not about their name, but maybe I have made a mistake there. Silly me....

Youd have to be a special breed of idiot to fuck something like that up. Since icons dont use teamcolor and have no use for alpha channels.

That made me laugh.
Alpha channels are featured in all .BLP and .TGA files. Many available converters tend to fuck up alpha channels. Many of them do it when you save the .BMP or whatever format you're using for the icon in a bad 'Depth'(I forgot if the required depth for icons is 24 bit or 32 bit). This will cause the icon to look like a neon green square in-game.
Besides, some people use "auto-borderizers". Some of those tend to sometimes not work, especially when converting from a regular image format to a .BLP.
There are many cases in which the icon would not work in-game.

I honestly can't see a reason to post an in-game screenshot, but if that's how you want it, disqualify me. :v

Anyway, even if you're silly enough to save your icon as a .BMP, Debode, Button Manager will fix it. There's no reason not to use Button Manager, as it does everything, absolutely everything except making the artwork, for you. You can make your icon in any size and in almost any format, and it still converts it to .BLP, adds the border and makes the necessary versions of the icon successfully. Two-clicks and profit.
