Food
Contestants must each create 3 food icons.

• No submission may violate any of the site rules.
• If a submission does not follow the icon submission rules the creator will be disqualified.
• All submissions must follow the current theme. If any model does not fit, a moderator will tell you as soon as possible as to avoid confusion.
• Your submission must be posted before the deadline. The post containing your final submission must also contain the following:
  • An in game screenshot showing your submission in action.
  • The file in the appropriate format.
• You must show at least one unfinished preview of your submission, before the deadline, as proof that it’s yours.
• Your submission may not be started/made before the official launch of the contest.
• Judges may not participate.
• Your final submission must be bug free.
• Teamwork is not allowed.
• Active and disabled versions of all icons are required.
• Blizzard icon naming conventions must be followed:
  • Example: DISBTNHoldPositionBlackDoom.blp

• First Place: 45 reputation points and your entry on the award icon
  
• Second Place: 30 reputation points and an award icon
  
• Third Place: 15 reputation points and an award icon

• Username 1
• Username 2

Creativity	The icons' originality and uniqueness are vitally important.	20%
Theme	Your icons should represent the aspects of your chosen theme. Variety between your icons is an important condition.	20%
Blizzard Feeling	Icons should be executed in such a manner that they can be implemented in a Warcraft map, compliment other Blizzard icons and replace the existing ones.	20%
Technical Note	The quality of the icons is the most important thing (throwing a lot of elements in a 64x64 image will usually look crowded).	40%

• 60 % of the winner shall be determined by the contest's appointed judge(s).
• 40 % of the winner shall be determined by the results of a public poll.

• The contest shall begin on 26 Feb 2011 and conclude on 20th March 2011, GMT

The meal contains Hamburger, Potatoes and Cola!
This is just basic shapes... now im beggining with the shading, highlingts etc.

I'm in! I was thinking to do "Dwarfish pick". I've started on the cheese.

WIP 1: Basic shape, pretty much no shading.
WIP 2: Shading added.
WIP 3: Larger pencil dwarf, still to small though.

I really want this dwarf, and for it to be "Drawn" on the outside of the packaging. But it is going to be miniature.

now lets take a vial of poison as an example.

so it is not a food

milkshake

so it is a food

milkshake is food. it is a form of liquid food. therefore drinks are counted as food.

This contest won't be easy to create something original, I mean there's already lots of food icons aviable...

The way I see it, food is not drink, I mean, you eat food, and drink drinks, though, if mashed enough, you can drink food.

I do hope we can draw drinks, though. Ale/beer is a must in dwarfish pick.

All things that we consume in a daily basis (to continue living) is food in this competition. I drink vodka everyday, so all drinks can be considered food in this competition.
If you drink poison everyday, then I guess that is food, but you could just say it is mountain dew.
Medicine is not allowed, that is an exception to the consume thing.

Also, Ganondorf drew some cola and none of the mods complained is drink are allowed.

I am not going to tell people any more if they are following the theme or not and people should stop asking if they are following the theme or not. i would really wish people would read the goddamn OP and stop being idiots.

IT says it right there. FOLLOW THE GODDAMN THEME.
so if you are feeling smartass enough to draw some food-RELATED stuff, fine. go ahead but be penalised in the judging. it is absolutely your choice.
