No idea, but it's in the rules.lol, why would icons need ingame screenshots? so you can see the same picture but with all the wc3 crap surrounding it? Pfft, just photoshop the icons into an ingame screenshot.

well having model ingame screenshot is just an incentive for people to actually have their own model tested ingame.

Youd have to be a special breed of idiot to fuck something like that up. Since icons dont use teamcolor and have no use for alpha channels.
That made me laugh.
Alpha channels are featured in all .BLP and .TGA files. Many available converters tend to fuck up alpha channels. Many of them do it when you save the .BMP or whatever format you're using for the icon in a bad 'Depth'(I forgot if the required depth for icons is 24 bit or 32 bit). This will cause the icon to look like a neon green square in-game.
Besides, some people use "auto-borderizers". Some of those tend to sometimes not work, especially when converting from a regular image format to a .BLP.
There are many cases in which the icon would not work in-game.
