Here's mine. I didn't have much ideas for the "before cataclysm" but after cataclysm, ho,ho :D

imo the fern spam looks horrible and i dislike the unformly blob of lightning that may or may not be a sun, kinda good path but a really jerky go-over, and the rocks in the water just kind of pierce it, consider putting some form of flora around them to soften that
personally i hate the purple trees too but thats mainly preference

updated pre cataclysm and this is the first version of post cataclysm

cpt.znack:
-use foggy sky
-use a closer more blue fog 100/149/237 might fit or 65/105/225
-remove the moon tbh
-use nice and tall structures and focus entirely on the city, don't waste your time with the land behind

Ah, yes I didn't really examine them that closely, but too many. I think it would probably be best to just have 2 - 4.

There are already moon rays in there, and I would assume the person is wearing some sort of underwater suit (I guess thats why he chose him). I agree though, the underwater aspect of the atmosphere could be improved. You could put bubbles coming from the guy.

Terrain Picture
I made small changes to 1st terrain and 2nd one!

Cataclysm: Violent upheaval that causes great destruction or brings about a fundamental change.

I think building a city/village is "Violent upheaval that causes great destruction or brings about a fundamental change"

Because Humans are destroying the Forest and are changing/destroying the complete Landscape and ecosystem.

I'll ask Keiji if it fits with the Theme.

Ok, way better Oziris (although I preferred the previous lighting -> It was more realistic). You immediately need to change the Lordaeron Summer Grass, it messes the scenery up. You removed many ferns, resulting an area brimed with ferns and an additional empty one. You should just thin out the current fern areas, placing them in greater distance from each other. Also, start using bushes, they add a realistic touch to the scene; fern spammed lands only happen in games, so go for some realism. The background feels too blurry; mind reducing that? Did you add Glows or something?

If humans building a damn city in a peacefull forest ISNT a fundamental change, then chicken does indeed have teeth.

Now, my point is that it is approved, obviously, but I would encourage you to do as Pharaoh is saying, as it sounds more interesting than a complete city.

Really good, M0rbid, but it is kind of unnatural that the bridges stay put and none of the trees has been burnt down. They are actually swimming into lava, the heat is intense. Also, consider swapping the color of that wooden structure with some darker tone, towards black. Finally, add a doodad "Smoke smudge" here in there to perform a burnt look.

@ Avator and Pharaoh_: Thanks for the comments, I agree that it's a little to glowish at the moment, I will remove a little bit of the glow and ofcourse I'll add fire and burn the trees, I didn't have enough time to do that right now, and I'm still searching for a fitting fire, because the ones that are included in UTM don' fit too good to the orange lava.
THank you both for the comment ;)

@Jaret, Corals look ugly like this; prefer them in an underwater scenery. The moon looks like a bland sun, you might need to remake it. On the other hand, waterfall looks incredible, it's like some painting. Finally, add some fog and remove the units. This is not a playable scenery, it's just a landscape, don't use ugly units at least :S

Well, the Units are meant to be there, so... I'm gonna use the Moon model here on thw... Which units are "pretty"?

My opinion is that you can:

I think that you need to make road, is that bridge or?
City looks empty, add guards, peasants that move in/out with cargo I don't know make something
There is no shallow or deep water change that, sometimes empty shore is best (just sand/mud, one or 2 rocks)
Another empty place (Add grass)
If you wanted to make something like large grass -> small one -> no grass, then you need to change tile color from dark to light green

I don't have time to check all about your terrain if you want pm me!

P.S. also add animals :cute: or :ugly:
