Alright, since I'm making some progress, time to unveil my evil mastah plan:

The Rain of Chaos

Each player represents a demonic overlord, who have, in their sights, a small, nodescript city. The only hinderance for the unholy massacare to ensure is a magical shield maintained by a generator within the mage's quaters. As thus, your first step is to infiltrate the city, and destroy this so called generator.

To counter this drawback, the demon lords have enlisted dark sorcerers on their sides, however, since they oppose each other aswell, each and every one of these saboteurs is fighting against all the other ones.

So:
Step 1: Infiltration
You must use your Dark Saboteour to infiltrate the city, pass the guards, aviod the other saboteours, and destroy the shield generator.

Setp 2 : Decimation
With the shields down, the armies of the demon lords can now decend upon the town, wreaking death and destruction all over the city.

The Demon Overlords themselves are trying to get to the city as quick as possible, however, they require magical essence to do so. Each kill one of your minions deal gives you a certain amount of power, as well as destryoing powerful and magical structures, like the Shield Generator.

The first Demon Overlord to reach 1000 (might be changed later) points will apear on the battlefield, and wreak ultimate anahilation and destruction on every living thing inisde the walls of the city, taking the town as his own, winning the match.

It might sound wierd now, but ingame, it looks pretty awesome, even now!

Defense of the <something>

Yeah, if someone has an idea of a name, I would be glad to hear it,


So, first of all, this has nothing to do with DotA (as you might think), it's not even an AoS. In fact, I'm not really sure what kind of map genre it is, o_O
The gameplay is rather simple. You're this little mortar guy in the middle of the screen, and you need to protect a pair or workers who's building a guard tower. However, the local inhabitants aren't very happy about you building this tower, so they're trying to destroy it. Your job (as the mortar guy) is to kill those inhabitants before they get to the tower.

You attack by clicking somewhere on the ground. Your mortar will then shoot a missile which hits the ground after a while, so you'll have to aim. Everything in the game is scripted in vJass, trackables, parabolic missile movement etc. I'm trying to enchant the game with as much custom features as I can, so it will not be like any Warcraft map you've ever played.

I'm planning to make several "levels" that you can complete, so the game keeps being fun to play. I've attached a screenshot of the map below, showing level 1. It's still in a very early stage (I've only been working on it for 2 hours), so it still lacks some of the interface I plan to add.

So far it only features some reload thingy and a very basic terrain. Tomorow I'll try to get the workers and some local inhabitants in there.

I made a decent User Interface for my map. It may not be the best, and I know, the Item Box and a few things shines too much. Ill fix that if I have enough time.

I have an idea, a pretty solid one for once, but I want to get some testing and such in before I verify it =P

EDIT: I do have a terrain screenshot though. I know, it's amazingly beautiful.

Here is my first map what i was talking about earlier.. now ima just make my second map alot better 2.School Zombie Survival v1.000.w3x

I should really add another rule about giving WIP screens at least once before releasing.

The way you're doing this, your map will probably be missed when judges start scanning the thread.
