This campaign follows Maiev Shadowsong and the Watchers in a reinterpretation of the "Terror of the Tides" campaign. This campaign is comprised of 8 playable missions and 3 cinematic missions.


Due to the conversion tool used to convert the campaign to the standard world editor, it is recommended to play the campaign using the most recent patch.

General

Err, this seems to be the author's (Summer Flower) intention. Perhaps it was all unlocked, since many people have played the blizzard version, so players might only want to play specific missions? I did not ask the author why.

Chapter One


Model for this unit changed to blizzard's Satyr Hellcaller (so it is now a unit model.)

Chapter Two:


Set Maximum research of Watcher Training/Druid of Forest Training/Druid of Fang Training to 1 (so the advanced upgrade that requires tree of eternity is not available.)

Chapter Four:


Hotkey for Heal (both turning off and on) changed to U. Tool-tip also change to show U is new hotkey
(Change to entire campaign Data, not just mission 4, so Forest Druid won't have conflict of hotkeys on other missions.)

Chapter 5:

Swapped Region 206 and 207 (so now rock and frost wards trigger the correct one.)

Chapter 7:

Delete Nature's Blessing as upgrade from all Tree of Life/Tree of Ages/Tree of Eternity
(Change to entire campaign Data.)

Deleted "Priestess of the Moon" Spellbook, and "Keeper of the Grove" Spellbook from Tyrane/Malfurion respectively.
Added Owl Scout to Tyrande as a non-hero ability, and added Force of Nature to Malfurion as a non-hero ability.

Chapter 8:
Song initial start time is later, so no conflict with cinematic.

Purple (Malfurion) now treats Elite Undead team as an enemy.

Cannot fix, it is built into the campaign.

This is a campaign from the Chinese warcraft 3 community. Hopefully we can "give back" in the sense that by sharing many campaigns from their community, it will inspire Hiveworkshop creators to make more campaigns, and then the chinese community can play those campaigns when the Chinese translators bring Hive campaigns to their community (so in this way, they can benefit also).

Judging by the screenshots, this is the Sentinel campaign, with new models (Nothing bad with that). Will check it out ingame, though.

Edit:
Quick bug: Optional quest triggers in the beginning of chapter 1, while the intro plays.
Annoyance: the new UI is not widescreen.

General:
The UI covers the corners of the minimap. This might be a 1.29+ issue.
The UI's central image makes yellow text (Damage, hero stats...) hard to read.
Some of the music doesn't really feel night-elfy.
Naisha's Frost Armor gives +10 armor? Really?
If you can't control the owl scouts, they're not very good scouts. There's also a problem in that the maps were already designed with Blink in mind, meaning some parts of the game weren't meant to be visible.
Can't speak for anyone else, but I don't like the replacements for Maiev's last two abilities.
Started the campaign and it had all levels unlocked. Quit the first one, it went back to its menu with unplayed levels hidden and had the Awakening cinematic. After restarting the game, all levels were unlocked and the Awakening cinematic does not appear.
Lion's Ring and Jade Ring have the same flavor text.

First mission:

Why is one furbolg orange?

* Voyagers sidequest:
** "wood to repair the ship with" -> "wood with which to repair the ship"
** "have been stuck" -> either "are trapped" or "have been trapped for [amount of time]"
** Wallen's appearance triggered while I was on the island south of him. Similarly, Nadel appeared while I was still on the island to the north of him, meaning they take out most of the monsters before you can get to them.
** Wallen's name is Wallen- Devastator.
** There's a circle of barricades on one island that's empty. Should there be something in it?
** Shipwreckee -> Shipwrecked Dwarf
** "ship ran around" -> "ship ran aground"
** "we may have died" -> "we might have died"
** "thought he has died" -> "thought he'd died/drowned"
** "find use" -> "find a use"
** Maiev mentions wood despite not finding any.
** Catapult is still named Demolisher. Also, why a catapult when they have mortars?

Druid of the Claw tooltips say he turns into a bear, not a cat.
Spider Ring has no flavor text.

Still first mission:

During the fight with the Brood Mother, the murguls on the level below are invariably attracted and attack.
There's an empty area in the lower left that can be reached with Blink and shows different water levels.
An Owl Protector triggered one of the naga cutscenes (the one where the myrmidon says "you are no match for the naga").
The big ugly Murgul boss is named Clam Eater? Really?
On one playthrough, Wallen's ship wasn't destroyed, and there was no clue about destroying the ship to get the wood.
Wood isn't removed from inventory after completing the quest.

Boss items are disappointing, especially since they're just renamed regular items.
Abyss Gloves: invicible -> invincible
Saved games don't have map descriptions.

The white trees on either side of the final demonic gate don't count as trees.
Naga Defenders and Summoners (of all elements) have no tooltips.
The Naga Defender and hero have the exact same model.

Good campaign. I want to mention two points: 1)The difficulty of the maps I think is far too high. The best examples of this are map 5 (which has been expanded to include so many extra enemies) and map 8 (you cannot rush the undead on Malfurion's side because of how strong the main undead base is. 2) My 5/5 score might not be so accurate because this is an edit of a blizzard camapign. I am not even sure how to rate something like this, because Summer Flower is standing on the shoulders of a giant. My "good" impression of the campaign might be because the blizzard part is really good, and not because Summer Flower did anything. I thought this was one of the reasons hiveworkshop did not approve blizzard-edited campaigns (because it is so hard to "rate" what the authors do). Last time I checked, most of the substandard category for campaigns on hive is full of all the blizzard-edited campaigns.

Guys, relax. I believe he/she is abandoning his alter ego character, not necessarily stopping with Wc3 content, or . It's a common practice in Asian countries.

Try to think of it this way: Rate it for what it is. Yes, it's true this is a blizzard edited campaign. But how well do the edits fit the theme? Is it generally an improvement to the original? Did you enjoy the new additions? How does it compare to other quality campaigns on THW?

To be honest, there are campaigns here which are far better than the original Blizzard campaign :)

I noticed that both this campaign + the 2nd/3rd campaign made by flower fairy had over emotional, overdramatic "end notes". Is this common with most of the campaigns created by Chinese people?

Still first level:

Some names seem backtranslated: Furbolg Hermit -> [] -> Ursa Recluse.

Had no clue the Ursa Ripper was there until I looked at the whole map, there should be a hint.

Ursa Claw's description could be better, such as explaining why/how this particular furbolg went insane.

Final boss' name/title is left untranslated. Also, stupidly overpowered AoE spells.
No comment on the fact that while fighting Naga, a lich pops out of nowhere?

The gray tiles clash horribly with the Sunken Ruins cliffs, either they should be restored or the cliffs (and related doodads) use the same gray color.

Warden Hut has unit movement abilities but can't move.
First Warden upgrade tooltip mentions a Druid of the Forest. They also don't have a Power of the Forest ability.
Druid of the Fang upgrades says it gives them Leopard Form, not Berserk.
Warden should not be called powerful if it does half the damage of an Archer.
Druid of the Fang and Warden lack caster tooltips.
Instead of (Level One), Spirits of Vengeance should use Lesser/[]/Greater prefixes.
Spirit of Vengeance's timer is blank.

Items that combine with another should be marked as such.

Second level:
T3 upgrades are visible but unavailable (no Tree of Eternity).
I like the music better in this one.

Sunken Heart and Slumberers sidequest icon is a green block.

Ge Leiguo's skull is called Gregor's skull. INcreases -> Increases
Murgul Workshop should at least be a different color to distinguish it from the neutral huts.
Murgul upgrades have no tooltips.
Nether Dragon's message comes from Nai Selong.
Tidewarriors (tooltip) / Tide Chasers aren't affected by their own upgrades.
Turtle creeps don't sleep at night.

Druids of the Fang barely have more HP than Archers and have armor that takes extra damage from melee. Why are they melee units?

The southern Naga base is entirely unbuildable, I had to kill trees to let the tree take root.
The coral tunnel NE of the south Naga base is walkable, the doodads should either be blocked off or widened so it's clear you can go through them.
Several attack waves worth of units appear to have gotten stuck in the southern base.

During Drak'thul's second cutscene, the skybox went black for a moment.
Thunder Summoner model has hero glow, Enna's does not. Enn's selection circle is also too small.
Grace of Enna's description should say "Restores" instead of "Regenerates".
Given the extra items that need to be carried over, there should be a stash system to keep them from map to map.
Why the cyborg skin for skeletons?
Hydra boss should have those big glowing rocks as well.
Abyss Armor has Sunken Despair instead of Shard.
Text for Abyss Armor and Lost Cloak have no periods, and aren't very informative.
Orb of the Tides should use the Orb of Lightning effect since it casts Purge.

Used the Dust of Appearance where it was found, but didn't see anything. What's it for?

Ruffian isn't really an appropriate term here.
Feisad deals 120 damage. What.
Several units have the exact same model without a size or color difference (Couatls and Flying Demons, Feisen and Myrmidons).

Why "Detached"?
Endboss can gain levels.
Okay, seriously. What is this fetish all these maps have for putting bosses that remove half your troops' HP in a single spell, and taking great pains to ensure the battle is both boring and simply unfun? And why stick them just after a particularly tough battle that ensures most of your units will be almost dead?


Third level:
Intro cutscene: Naisha's "What do they say?" reads "Naisha".
Orcish Skeleton X -> Skeletal Orc X
Berseker -> Berserker
Magic Fanatic? Why not Skeletal Mage?
It's possible to Blink into the wall behind the Berserker. There should be cliff wall to make it inaccessible.
PortBashad keeps spamming his lines.
Heart of the Incinerator is clickable but doesn't do anything. Also, flavor text could be better.
Shadow Orb leaderboard doesn't show how many fragments were found.
Death Grip (really?) and a Giant Skeleton come to each other's help, one or both should have camping range.

What's with the 30+ armor minibosses?

Second rune cutscene: the BGM starts playing over the orc music.
Naisha is present during the cutscene even if she's still stuck behind the blue door. How do you kill that door anyway? I don't remember it in the original.

Wardens only have two abilities. They also don't have Shadowmeld.

Turtle Warrior -> Giant Sea Turtle
Turtle Mother -> Dragon Turtle (since it drops Dragon Turtle's Blood)

Still third mission:

A weird recurring bug where units freeze up, gliding like statues and only moving normally after going through a different animation like attacking. It might be linked to going through a cutscene.

The corrupted treants are trapped in their own thorn maze.

What's the blue dragon supposed to do?

An invulnerable unit called Water Dungeon that can throw a bunch of Crushing Waves (no tooltip) shows up near the NW rescued units, belonging to the player.

Evil Hand fight was bad. It's hard enough without his also regenerating health as well. Someone else should drop the blood key.
The Skeletal Berserker was only slightly better, I ended up killing him by blinking into the wall and summoning spirits until he died.

Naisha should not have her owls on this mission and the Hydra Eye's Far Sight is a bad idea. In the original, there was only one place for her to use Sentinel to get an orb fragment, letting players see the entire map is bad because it leads to sequence breaking, not to mention large amounts of ugly and empty terrain.

So what purpose does the balrog serve? Okay, you're not supposed to fight him, but he doesn't follow you towards a boss fight or anything.

Druid of the Forest lacks caster tooltips. Also, his treant form should not use a WoW model it clashes with the aesthetic.

Sin King doesn't drop anything on death? Also, is he supposed to be allied with the Naga or not?

Big Snap Dragon has the same name as the others.

The heroes around Illidan have the same name as heroes who were already met or killed.

Entire SE corner of the map is empty. Why replace a lot of the southern area of the map and then leave another area empty?

How do you activate the giant skeleton?

Fourth level:

When the two elite huntresses join you, their lines aren't subtitled.
Druids of the Forest aren't buildable anywhere.
The two excavators just north and south of each other (only the north one triggers the sidequest) don't drop anything.
No Hippogryph Training?
Slavery Resistor -> Rebel Slave
Alchemist's Wind Walk tooltip is messed up.
Wizzard -> Wizard (unless Rincewind was a naga all along)
Naga Healer has the Siren tooltip.
Oh goody, another boss who comes out of nowhere with "fuck you, your units die now" spells. What fun.


Also there is some influence on the main Night Elf campaign: I haven't played it yet on this install, but I noticed that its levels are unlocked as I beat them in the custom campaign. As far as I can tell this doesn't cause texture bugs or anything else to carry over.

This campaign is absolute trash.
I couldn't even get through the first two or three battles.

Side Quest Triggers are misplaced, cutting dialogue randomly.
There's so much flair,colors and random shenanigans on the UI that it's actually hard to even see/read the skills each of your characters have.
That being said, a re-skin of Fan of Knives isn't exactly new content. It would work better if the original was used since the animation was much clearer.
So much work was obviously put in the atrocious UI that this campaign looks more like a showroom for UI-editing "skills" than an actual campaign.

Final note: I am colorblind and got a crazy migraine trying to play this campaign with it's god-awful color palette. I asked my wife (who sees just fine) to play it just so I wouldn't be biased... and well.

To be fair, though, if this campaign was edited and its triggers corrected (units as well, that other people complained about) then I could see it being on the hive. Until then, I don't think it meets any standard whatsoever and should really be downgraded to WIP or pending revision.

Side Quest Triggers are misplaced, cutting dialogue randomly.
This only happens once. It was caused by the conversion tool, and will be fixed.

Final note: I am colorblind and got a crazy migraine trying to play this campaign with it's god-awful color palette. I asked my wife (who sees just fine) to play it just so I wouldn't be biased... and well.
How do you know the colour palette is awful if you are colourblind?

Fourth level:

Why is there a dragon in the NE corner (visible in the intro cutscene, presumably on purpose)? He doesn't even drop anything or talk.
During the Neptulon fight, there's a debuff with no tooltip and that one dev's face as an icon.

Ooookay. Neptulon has an uninteruptable AoE spell, one that prevents units from responding to orders (and can send them on a cliff), and summons a dozen magic-immune elementals.

Goblin hero has a standard name.


Fifith level:

Why does Furion start with a hero point?
Furion's World Cage has no tooltip and no name.

Kazzak: What the fuck? Why would you give him instadeath spells if he isn't a sideboss?

The first naga base to be cleared out belongs to Night Elf Fleet.

A purple Sea Witch is just called Serpent Enchantress.

The hint about the gate and the items needed to open it came out of nowhere.

Oh wow, even better. Illidan now gets a spell that kills units, heroes and buildings in a few seconds.

Don't know how or why it happened, but Furion's Force of Nature somehow lost two levels at one point.
Crab King's Ring has no tooltip.

Tyrande: cannot hold out -> won't hold out (line/subtitle)

Rock/Frost/Tide Elf: why elf? "Spirit" might be better.

The gate should open instead of breaking apart.

Suo Ranrui: made caused me -> caused me

Depositing the wards should do something during the battle, like preventing his stat increase. He shouldn't be immune to magic, that just makes the battle slower and boring.

Fifth level:

Tyrande's Searing Arrows stop autocasting whenever you reload the map.

All spellbook abilities are only level 1.

The Rebirthed orc's attack projectile is too big.

Does one of the Naga units have Control Magic? One of Vengeance Spirits went hostile but I didn't see the caster.

Forgotten One needs a better name than Siren.

In the final cutscene, Ilidan's boat and his guard just stop moving.

Brown Illidan's Naga don't show up on the score screen.

Frost Wolves don't have upgrades. And aren't they an orc unit?

It's a cool model (although Large Guardian isn't a good name), but why would Naga have a building showing a Night Elf?


Sixth level:

Intro cutscene: Veras is called Swordsman.

Can't say I like the music for this one. Not that it's bad, but it doesn't suit the mission's theme or environment.

If all the blood elf units are named, the Swordsman should be named as well.

Corpse Herder doesn't look any different from other Necromancers.

Unshielded Revived Footmen should have less armor and health than the shielded ones. Risen might be a better adjective than Revived.

Tragic Nigel? What?

Wither Whispers have Necromancer tooltips.

Buliqi's selection circle is too small.

Two archers spawned in the village before the crossroads are stuck behind doodads.

Malande seems to have Heal, that's not in the tooltip.

Several problems with the sidequest:
* The Myrtle flower can't be dropped.
* Lythraceae shouldn't have an inventory unless she carries over to the next mission.
* Blink and the laser cannon spell have no tooltips and no names, Life Drain has no tooltip.
* Lythraceae's laser cannon should not destroy trees on a map that is designed around preset paths.
* It's possible to trigger the quest's completion by grabbing the flower when it appears without even finding the quest, which causes the quest completed message to play before the quest found messages.
* The area that triggers the flower's appearance and where to find the fairy should be better marked.

What are the sentry wards in the entire secret SE corner for? I planted several of them around but they saw nothing. I thought they were connected to the sidequest, but no.

Corpse Herders only have Raise Dead (that or Charm doesn't transfer caster training).

Blood Elf unique units have spells unrelated to their tooltips, most spells lack tooltips and names.

Acolytes have Spell Immunity for some reason.

Do the credits list the music used in the campaign? I'm fairly certain one came from Avatar, but I don't know the rest.

General:
Why does Kael's icon look entirely unlike him?
Dreadbringer uses the flat Cleaving Attack icon.
Furion's damage-lowering aura shows up above enemy's heads.
Dryad's special ability has no name or tooltip. "Nature Clap" needs a better name.
Vashj's Tornado and War Stomp (why do the ranged heroes have melee-range spells?) have no names.
Illidan's spellbook has no name or tooltip.
Light of Dawn should explain what it says.

Sixth level:

While control can be taken of Kael's units, they quickly return to their original positions when told to move somewhere.

Laser cannon can destroy the bridge Tyrande is supposed to die on. Made for an awkward cutscene, lemme tell you. It also caused the boss' lines and hints to play during the final cutscene.

End boss doesn't have a lance, why does he mention one?

End boss can be taken out without triggering the ambush (or even causing the caravan to move ito the village). However, this seems to prevent the final cutscene from triggering.

The BGM plays over the end cutscene.


Seventh level:

Paladin belongs to Elite Naga defenders before rescue. His special ability has no name or tooltip and he has an inventory.

Camera should go to the Old God when it appears.

Old God's sleep spell (I assume that's what it is) ignores magic immunity.

The altar should not be invulnerable.

After all that effort, the boss doesn't say anything when he dies?

After killing the summoners: entire cutscene has no text, and the Naga hero started killing my units unimpeded.

After the cutscene, the hints and character lines that appear have no text.

The timer and camera shaking are still present after the cutscene.

Locust Swarm skulls go after a single target at a time.

... So let's recap: the end boss, with 40 armor and Mirror Image, who can summon a bunch of minions with Forked Lightning, who can control my units, who teleport into the middle of the base, can also decide to kill all my forces in seconds by making them unable to move or attack while he attacks and casts spells.

During the final cutscene, one of the naga heroes could be heard attacking something.


Eighth level:

Leadder -> Leader

A red attack wave showed up in the blue base, but weren't attacked until ordered to.

The mounted Skeleton Warrior should be renamed.

Again, no cutscene text once Tyrande is rescued.

Really? "OK, we just killed an Old God. Moving on." is the only reaction?

The naga side boss just plows through the base and meteors everything. I didn't even bother fighting him. The night elves' one was beatable.

No forces have names on the score screen.

Plotwise, I think the major problem is making every additional subplot fit into the campaign's, meaning that ultimately they come out of nowhere (the first and second level's endbosses, the death knight in the Tomb of Sargeras, the pit lord in Lordaeron) and serve no real purpose. Exhibit A: Killing a pair of Old Gods is of less importance than rescuing Tyrande, when from my understanding of WoW lore this is like declaring a cold more important than the Black Death. Furthermore, no one ever comments on them.

Regarding difficulty, many of the bosses are stupidly overpowered. For example, the Death Knight in the tomb of Sargeras, the bosses of the seventh and eighth levels.

The expanded terrain on some maps is decent, but the fact that the replacement for the Sunken Ruins tile wasn't added to the cliffs is a major turnoff.

The items could have been more than different icons and two lines of description. I liked the combining items, but these were too limited. Making one combining item per map would be good. Some standard items were given extra descriptions, but not all. A stash to carry items from mission to mission would be useful, I had to leave a lot of goo stuff behind.

Many units were broken or had problems, such as the untrainable Forest druids, Fang druids that don't turn into anything, or Wardens and wolves that don't receive upgrades.



No music list.

Overall, has some potential, but just feels unfinished.

Ok. All the language errors/missing language listed by cleavinghammer have been fixed (change log also updated on map description.)

Summer Flower (author) has also authorized the campaign to be de-protected, so campaign is now open source.



General:

First I want to thank @cleavinghammer for his thorough posts.

For some reason all chapters are available/visible from the start.

The text after the original loading screen one does not all show. It would be best for that text to be on screen after the map loads.

  1. -the UI is eye gouging. You can barely read any unit stats on it properly. Also partially blocks minimap vision. Inventory slots aren't even there.
  2. -Starfall instead of Fan of Knives? So... wardenish...
  3. -Blink has an icon change, great. At least for Naisha (model), it's OK to be differentiated from the Huntress, however the character is not a hero and should not have glow and should not still have the darker hue.
  4. -Maiev has a new hero icon because? Also, it's not as understandable as the original.
  5. -Moon Armour that is actually Frost Armour...
  6. -how are the Owls protectors if they only scout? Nice spell though even if it makes Sentinel obsolete in terms of originality, I mean having two spells of the same type on the same unit...
  7. -the red satyr remains on the ground after death because it's a unit having a hero model and hero models don't have death animations but decay animations. Same with all units of this type.
  8. -Clam Eater's Blood potion has Potion of Greater Invisibility's icon.
  9. -until now, it's just mostly a graphic rehash.
  10. -it's somewhat fun if you play it on Easy but gets repetitive quickly.
  11. -doesn't really make sense for spiders to be up there on shallow water.
  12. -I don't think hiding neutral units or stuff between trees is a good idea. What do you expect for the player to use owls everywhere on the map? That's where Maiev is right: "we're wasting time here."
  13. -OK, so the way I see it, it's some sort of a bit more down to earth edit like this: Curse of the Blood Elves 2 Player and this one is even multiplayer. This is a good example of campaign edit: The Scourge of Lordaeron - Enhanced
  14. -Huntresses now have the Warden's (hero) icon.
  15. -!? schizophrenia? Why did that lich suddenly appear? Also, you can reach that hero with Blink but the unit is invulnerable.
  16. -no skip cinematic mode for the newly introduced scene at the end.

  2. -quitting the map started the mini-film with Illidan calling the naga and then the original first chapter started... Exiting this chapter then got me in the original campaign's menu.
  3. -Warden Hut is not an ancient but consumes the Wisp. But, it attacks and melee!? Units and stuff within it are badly positioned. You can even see the usual unit commands (attack, stop etc.).
  4. -Druid of the Fang looks too similar to of the Claw and has two spells which give move and attack speed... Plus they are orc spells...
  5. -there's no druid of the forest but the upgrade is available and there's no tree of eternity so the mastery for the druid of the fang cannot be researched even though the upgrade is there. Warden's Hut doesn't say it trains druids of the fang too but only that it has upgrades for them.
  6. -again most of Maiev's spells are out of character.
  7. -abandoned healing ward?
  8. -"we will meet again" This is a cartoon.
  9. -for some reason, Albatrosses have decaying bones on them.
  10. -detached from what/where?

  1. -eh, Panthers!?
  2. -"The time of your death has come inferior creatures." message spam (pit lord southwest).
  3. -Find the Shadow Orb leaderboard. Shouldn't there be a number there? Yep. Nothing appears even after taking more orbs.
  4. -there's an annoying sound bug coming from the Balrog type creature in the northeast.
  5. -Optional Quest Update Spirits Awakened. But the quest message should also mention what it was updated.
  6. -there's barely enough time to get back.

  1. -the runner moves slower than Maiev?
  2. -Forest Druids can't be trained.
  3. -weird for the mur'gul resistance to be under you and not neutral.

  1. -Horn of Cenarius should have a passive icon. You can make it look that way with this: Button Manager v1.8.2
  2. -another Starfall spell. Furion's lighting.
  3. -Horn of Cenarius buff is overhead on the enemy.
  4. -mur'gul slaves crowd at the second mine in the north once you destroy Illidan's closest main building.
  5. -basically you're fighting Illidan in this map four times, until you're going nuts.

  1. -Kael doesn't want to move from the southwest point (where the big Abomination is). OK, he did but after I went to the next southern point and cleared stuff along the way.
  2. -Starfall is too colourful, blocks battle vision.

  1. -what's with all the UI changes!?
  2. -units usually selected during cheesy lines lame boss cinematic scenes.

  1. -Rainbow Aura (it's not an aura)=Maiev's Ultimate=Locust Swarm.
  2. -Malfurion's hero icon doesn't depict him at all especially the beard colour.
  3. -ability positions are improper both in the learn menu and command card.
  4. -Faldaria appeared out of nowhere.
  5. -Illidan doesn't have hero glow. It could be added simply: How to add Hero Glow without Modeling
  6. -Skull of Gul'dan should have a passive icon.

All these dopamine rush add-ons are ultimately futile as they don't make the game better but burdened.

For me, it's Substandard. However, you can always have another reviewer opinion which can go over mine provided there is enough evidence to support against my review. Or, if there are two reviews pro and mine against, then it's a veto.

  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.

Anyway, so the only way for Summer Flower's campaign to be approved is if the other reviewer (Daffa) opposes your review comments? Also, she added many new quests, units, and regions and spells in the map. Won't those new additions be considered?
(I am not criticising your review in any way. It is just that based on the comments you made, it would be very difficult/impossible to find another reviewer to disagree with your comments.)

I wonder if the chapter availability is linked to the pre-installed campaign. I never got around to starting it on my current installation of the game, but I noticed that I can access all the levels and the Blood Elf campaign (also when quitting, it takes you to the standard campaign's menu).

I'm inclined to agree that the new additions are either buggy or imbalanced (without getting into the story aspects), which does make the map less enjoyable.

Regarding the new secrets, several are in areas with no indication that you should look there, especially if you played the map beforehand (for example, the furbolg on the south edge of the first map, the entire hidden southern area on the sixth map).

There are other two reviewers, officially. Daffa the Mage is a moderator, for all I care, he can just instantly approve this as he has more authority than I do but in all fairness, he should counter my arguments.

It is not enough, I'm afraid. In this case more is less. What was added is just not good enough to properly enhance the original campaign.

Just to clarify, did you want the changes made and campaign updated after every time you play a chapter, or can the changes all be made at the end?/.
