Ashan: As each other's first love, Ashan and Zhen Ni always maintained the beauty and harmony of their love. They longed to enter the sacred hall of marriage with flowers in their hands and the blessings of the people. However, the minions of the Lich King destroyed their vision and hope for the future. After cremating his lover's body with his own hands, the humiliated Ashan ended his hard life in the river. But his life emerged in a new form with the help of an unknown black shadow. The desire for revenge gave his life a new goal. Ashan formed a small army and named it the Hand of Vengeance. The thorny road to revenge is long and arduous, and the prejudice and persecution from the living are constantly destroying his humanity and conscience. Can the young avenger keep his soul from being swallowed by his own dark side? Can a world where the Living and the Dead coexist in harmony be realized?

In order to live, and escape the pursuit of the experiment staff, he fled to the Silent Forest where few people would go. He missed and was worried about his family, and that always reminded him to avoid becoming a blood-sucking monster. After witnessing many years come and go, his fate quietly changed after the Hand of Vengeance intervened...

At present, the life of this great hero of Dalaran is continuing in another way. She will build a bridge of communication between Dalaran and the Hand of Vengeance.
full

The son of Alexandros thus arrived at the crossroads of fate.

full
He Xiaoshu: The third president of the Dalaran, the daughter of Medivh and Mai Wei. The Scourge has caused turmoil in all of Alysisy. In order to end the evil conspiracy of the Lich King, President He Xiaoshu realized that the camp of the Living must unite, but the intrusion of the Hand of Vengeance has involved her in a new storm. How to face the monster alliance headed by Ashan is a problem she needs to consider carefully.
full
Varian: Even though the Stormwind Alliance is prosperous on the surface, but undercurrents have long been surging under this peace. As the king of the Alliance of Stormwind, he must actively handle diplomatic affairs and strive to balance the factions within the Alliance. He knows very well that the citizens of the Alliance must continue to fight until the fall of the Lich King.
full
Thrall: In order to end the dark fear spread by the Lich King, the Kruger Horde sent an expedition to Northrend. As Warchief of the Horde, he is keenly aware that his throne is being shaken by some ill-intentioned challengers to his position. But the threat of the Scourge is growing day by day and Thrall and his allies must put aside their differences and actively fight the Lich King.

Light and Shadow (Campaign)

It's a nice campaign overall, with some classic gameplay (could have had custom scripted stuff, techtrees etc.) and a good story premise which sadly falls into a mishmash of Warcraft, own story and even real life stuff. Lovely terrain overall. There's...

In this story, there is a visible improvement in Flower Fairy's storytelling and writing as time and practice have begun to bear fruit. I have played the campaign on version 1.36 with minor inconveniences such as the prologue map instantly crashing the game, minor sound/music errors (music played on top of another track), certain items now showing text (it showed either empty boxes or a single number), and probably speeding text (I was unable to read some texts as they flashed rapidly across the screen in quick succession).
Sadly, the story falls into some odd falls, time skips, flat character moments, and missed opportunities, that hinder the story experience and character development.

From beginning to end, the story makes many attempts at trying to tug on your heartstrings through a good combination of emotional music and story set-up. It does stir a feeling in you... right before it takes a nose-dive as it trips and falls over.

I feel that characters are overly polite with each other for no true reason other than a very basic form of flattery. Constantly complementing each other's high intelligence when they have had little moments to showcase high intellect decisions or deep meaningful conversations.
There are also many, many moments where the conversations and interactions between characters throughout the story makes sure you never ever forget that Undead are "ugly/hideous monsters". Emphasis on ugly/hideous.
The dialogues aren't bad, but they are sometimes very clumsy and need a touch more refinement and editing to make characters stand out more as well as give certain moments the desired/anticipated emotional value. Some of them are even funny to read (I had a few good chuckles hearing about the Lick King or the Ling King).

A scene that bothered me that I believe was a greatly missed opportunity was Mai Wei's character moment was her turning into an Undead and how quickly she accepted her new existence after some flattery from Ashan. She does the same when she returns to Dalaran as an Undead. And (like mother like daughter I suppose) He Xiashou was very quick to accept that her mother is an Undead and was even quicker to let slide what happened in the past.
I also believe Mai Wei was robbed of a powerful moment for her character where she could have showcased why she was "President" of Dalaran; instead of having her use her full arcane might to sink an impassible navy blockade from the Lich King, Mai Wei "prays" to the snow and ice spirits for an avalanche to take place at sea.

There was also a scene where Darion Mograine was on the brink of death that resulted in a very, very extended scene of goodbye and farewell with a character he was close to in a very short period of time. But you have to give credit for the Alliance politely remaining quiet in the background watching everything unfold before their eyes like an open-air theater.

Unlike the previous works of Flower Fairy, the characters in this story have gotten a touch of refinement to them and have a sense of self with some discernable personality traits. You can tell characters from one another here even though they sometimes revert into flat one-note characters like in the previous stories from Flower Fairy.

The cinematics are very impressive with good camera angles, though there are the occasional unwanted camera shaking to put some emphasis on tragedy or pain. One of the most impressive scenes I have seen was the battle at the foot of Icecrown Citadel where big armies clashed.
However, there was one cinematic that needed more work; the one being the scene where Darion leads an attack on the Crusaders and Alliance meeting. There is an overwhelming number of Undead that quickly stomp out the Alliance during which the characters speak and they end up literally speaking with ghosts (since the Alliance characters are long dead and their bodies despawned).

Overall, the story is a significant improvement in Flower Fairy's storytelling. A step in the right direction and closer to self-improvement. Playing through it felt like experiencing something you'd only see in a manhwa and it would no doubt be a memorable and great experience for people who enjoy those kinds of stories.
I grade this campaign a solid 4/5. Room for improvement and refinement, and some missed opportunities; but a good experience from start to finish nonetheless.

In the Chinese version of the campaign (version 1.24), players cannot see the Alliance at Darion Mograin's farewell moment, but in version 1.36, Blizzard has made some adjustments to the cameras, allowing players to see the Alliance audience that they originally couldn't see.

In fact, Mai We is not a powerful mage. The reason why Mai We became the first leader of the Blood Elves was that she led the Blood Elves to defeat the Alliance's forces, overthrew human colonial rule on the Blood Elves' land, and established an independent and autonomous country.(the Story of the 6th campaign)

Eighth level:

finishing building -> finished building

There should be a hint about the Soul Palace upgrading from the Pit.

Passive upgrades and abilities don't use passive icons.

Soul Palace (and its upgrades), Plague Bringer, GSUM, and Skeletal Dragon tooltips aren't capitalized.

Soul Palace upgrades... some are insanely useful, others not that great.

Necro Warriors should use a different model, they look like regular skeletons.

Darion/Eludis needs an AoE ability, the enemy attack waves come in too close together (possibly a script bug since the attacks didn't start after a long while, I was up to third-level upgrades when they hit).

Abomination mutation doesn't show the food cost. "Biological evolution" isn't really descriptive either.

Dark Magic buff tooltip is incomplete.

Giant murloc is still called Tiderunner.

Allied AI only attacked twice, and even then to finish off four farms that were left after I cleared the rest of the base.

Ending:
  • My impression of you is -> My last impression of you was
  • chatting -> chat
  • Alexandro -> Alexandros

The first attack wave will only start about 10 minutes after AI starts (perhaps 8 or 9 minutes?)
Many years ago, players could upgrade pit to Soul Palace in the Evil Resurgent Campaign, and it would seem strange to hint players again

There's an untranslated message that plays at the beginning of the level.

Ability hint has color code.

Steam Tank has no tooltip.

Sorcerer upgrade tooltips call them Warlocks. Crushing Wave is called Shock Wave.

Eden Shard's manacost isn't shown in the tooltip.

Undead music and warnings used with a human faction, not sure if that's fixable.

Archer uses gunpowder upgrades.

Resource quest might be bugged, I had units go inside and around the cave but nothing triggered.

Cutscene:
canons -> cannons

Can we not have attack waves hitting both sides at the same time?

Default abilities should use default hotkeys (C for chain lightning).

End cutscene: Bit long.
  • Afterall->After all
  • Maybe give Ashan the sword as an attachment.

The update happened and bugged a few things like the portraits and some units not having models (they can still be attacked, just not targeted), I'll try restarting the level to see if that helps as the latter happened after loading.

Here's those I found so far:

Interlude: worrd -> word

Ninth level:

Alma cutscene: "bury you alive" -> maybe something like "bury you ali- well, you know what I mean"

Avalanche quest: are at -> are

Nerubian Sentinel:
  • Anti-Piercing Physique -> Maybe something like Resistant Carapace instead. (Also, shouldn't they be living instead of Undead?)
  • Tooltip: Strick -> Strike

Nerubian eggs have no name, Vrykul mercenaries have no name or tooltip.

OK, had to whosyourdaddy this one, and it's a shame because it seemed fun, but there's just no getting around that untargetable-invisible-units-after-loading bug. So far it only affects creeps, and that still makes it unfun.

That said, attack waves should be more widely spaced/Alma's base should send out attackers, usually you barely finish one wave and the next one comes up.

No message when defeating the vrykul bases?

The avalanche cutscene could have been better, maybe with a modified Stampede spell instead of the ships simultaneously keeling over.

I'd make the orange base accessible by land/shallow water at the very north edge as an alternative to the sidequest, just with a lot of ships guarding it.

Book of Ur tooltip:
  • gives it -> gives
  • was one -> was once

Final bossfight was disappointing. He should not have spell immunity or divine shield, since all you have to do is wait for his mana to run out and attack-move him to death. If there was some kind of debuff I didn't see it.

End cutscene: unnatural -> unusual maybe?

Interlude:
  • Loading screen: shadow of death in the icy center of death -> redundant
  • are responsibility -> are responsible

Tenth level:

OK, the missing-model bug extends to regular units now. I think, I can't exactly see what they are normally.

GSUM and Nerubian Vanguard model is a hero so it doesn't decay.

Maybe put a deactivated waygate near where all the items are that activates post-reunion so you don't have to cross the map to find them.

Goade's line -> "Outsiders! Slay them brothers, quickly!"

Enemy response radius is too high, so if groups respond to the others it weakens them overall. Or, like the fountain with mutants and nerubians, swarms you.

Music overlaps with itself when playing a loaded game, and for the last boss.

NE quadrant: there's an enclave with Horde spies that has several gaps in the walls.

Waydes comes back to where she started after swimming away without saying anything. Lady, maybe if you'd just follow simple instructions like "go there and stay there" there'd be a place for you in the campaign!

Whatever it is that can cast Charm should not have it on a level where you can't replace units.

Wall of Power -> Wall of Force / Force Wall

The two triggering objects for the gates should be the same type (two switches or two levers) and the one for the force wall the other type.

Boss area is way too restrained, guaranteeing ranged units get murdered. Still not a fan of the "let's dump two dozen units at once and make the boss immune to magic" school of bossfight design.

End cutscene:
"the nobler Griffin Heart is a large blow"
  • nobler -> noble? Maybe just Griffin Heart.
  • large -> great

The music of the human faction is used by the Blood Elves, so they do not have their own music. It is also obviously impossible to use human music and undead music in the same chapter.
Tower's chain lightning ability is a custom skill.

In my memory, Chapter 10 was a very easy chapter, players only need to train 12 Nerubian Sentinels to kill all enemies (the easiest way).
As long as the final boss remains alive, the map will continuously create flying enemies to attack players (I don't know if 1.36 has affected this trigger)

(just assume I whosyourdaddy these from now on due to the loading bug, because it now affects the player's units and heroes as well, so I won't mention getting triple-teamed by enemy attack waves)

Twelfth level:

Intro: causalities -> casualties

Battleship parts quest: "we lost the parts" is kind of weak as a justification, maybe something like "the parts were stolen" and have them dropped by an undead Night Elf/human infiltrator?

Aerial Battleship and Rocket Swarm upgrade have no tooltips and is called Cluster Rockets on the unit.

Boss cutscene:
  • you friend -> your friend
  • dies -> died

Thirteenth level: Oh wow, Rokhan has mastered invisibility, and only his shadow can be seen if you load a game!

Intro:
  • occasion -> occasional
  • Carine -> Cairne
  • After they have been successful, they are then blending into the crowd and pretending -> After they succeed, they then blend into the crowd and pretend

Misha's other passive (I assume it's a life drain) has no tooltip.

Cairne has Pillage?

Wind Rider mounting should be auto-researched, it's silly for the Wind Rider you start with to be unable to dismount.

Troll quest:
* Plains was once -> Plains were once

Blue Dragon Egg says it summons a mayfly. I mean, they're related to dragonflies, but...

Troll cutscene:
* you are not working for -> you don't work for

Village scene: A discarded -> An abandoned

Kildren's 3rd ability has no tooltip.

The wording on Kildren's ultimate should not imply it only works on allied troll corpses.

Celestial Orb of Souls has no tooltip.

Boss cutscene:
  • I could I have forgotten it -> how could I have forgotten
  • are not having an effect -> have no effect

Final boss being immune to magic because there's a gimmick: maybe. Final boss summoning half a dozen Destroyers: no.

Game crashes on finishing a level.

General note: flood-like, surge-like, tide-like, maybe pick one.

Fourteenth level:

batch of Airships -> batch of the Scourge's Airships

wanted to say you to -> wanted to say to you

If allies attack the obelisks, they leave the guards alone, not sure if that's intentional.

Race does equal honour. -> ... what?

(Dalaran reward) two tomes -> a tome

Quiz (I got 3 right): The dialog buttons for the last question are too small.

Non-cutscene hero lines go by too quickly.

The taunts between Griffin and Varian/Mara played at the same time.

Obelisk has a Pillage icon-using ability that's untranslated.

Got a game crash just after Ashan worked out what to do with Mai Wei.

Interlude:

become to death -> come to death

Why are the units all clumped together?

Meat Wagons float.

Arthas stays stunned during the plague speech.

Race does not equal honour. -> ... what?

Hey, monsters! You must return alive! -> Why monsters? Also, "alive" doesn't really work here.

Fifteenth level:

Intro cutscene:
  • Arthas is canted at a weird angle while talking to his lieutenants.
  • Cutscene should last a bit longer so the music doesn't cut at the crescendo.

Hint for the ore should be clearer, I thought it'd be a guarded deposit inside the citadel.

Blood Moon Mark: "gives the ability to increase" -> "increases"

Maybe have Darion comment on the architecture of the minibosses' quarters (vrykul, blood elves etc.)

If the bossfights have any unusual mechanics, I couldn't test them out, sorry.

Vrykul: fight for right -> fight for the right

Yrud: runway shows -> ?

Griffin Hart -> Heart

Alugal: unbearableness and ridicule -> unbearable ridicule

Riverdare: Boss music doesn't stop looping until you fight another miniboss.

Anub'arak: The living Nerubians don't have names. (side note: man, why did WoW do such horrible things to Anub'arak's voice?)

Final boss:
  • Light was playing -> Light played
  • Traitor of the Light: Traitor to the Light, or for extra irony, Betrayer of the Light!

Epilogue:

coexistence did not exist -> redundant

chance for to get -> chance for

Jenny -> Zhen Ni (I think)

Credits:

Names aren't separated by spaces.

Background images are very low-resolution for some reason.

Overall:

Story is good, but playing the other campaigns (recently enough that you remember what happened) is necessary to understand who all these other people are.

Map design is very good and nice to look at, although boss battles tend to be overly cramped.

AI has an annoying tendency to send simultaneous attack waves.

Bossfights tend towards the boring, with unit spam and immunities and "don't die before the cutscene" everywhere. The dialogue during fights is usually entertaining though.

Overall, solid campaign.

Fixed the translation/grammar/spelling issues pointed out by Cleavinghammer and removed an item from Kel'Thuzad that may be linked to a random map crash, with permission from Flower Fairy.

Thought I would add some notes I wrote down from when I played this campaign:

Intro
I like how it took its time to set up Zhen Ni's and Ashan's relationship. It would have been awkward if not enough time was spent developing it, and then having it be the main motivation for Ashan for the entire game. Good music and setting.
He Xiaoshu telling Ashan to cheer up right after he lover has died before his eye--- o.o
Ashan is selfish- he doesn't want his friends/family to revive if they cannot see him, so he lets them stay dead so he can take revenge.

Ch1
If Ashan drowned himself, how did his body get eaten?
Ashan should have seen the bridge at the start, since if he never travels near it, it seems strange for him to say its been repaired as if he just saw it a while ago.
Ashan mentions having experience raising the dead to the footman, but i never saw him do anything like that.
Ashan talked about helping Humans kill the Undead nearby, but all I did was lure the Undead to the Humans so they could kill the Undead for me.

Ch2
I enjoyed searching the map, especially the north after the RTS part was done.
It was cool to see the church there, which we would then see in the interlude.
What is the point of the goldmine at the top right? By the time we get there, the mission is basically over.
No bonus for killing the Scourge bases?
Also, the Undead bases had no heroes.

Interlude
It's hard to feel sorry for the Dreadlord when he walked into the rune like an idiot, not realizing something bad was going to happen to him.
Wc3 pathing at its best, all the Humans blocking each other as they chase the Vampire bat.
I like how this was connected to the 4th campaign of flower fairy, the 7th experiment.
I feel like the Dreadlord’s wife's new husband is planning on killing the kid, so that he and the women can start a new family.
Everyone is using invisible potions, even the undead ambush group.
The ambush group talk about the Wife being such a powerful mage, but she died very easily.

Ch3
Again, I like the creep variety around the map. It is fun to kill everything when the RTS part of the mission is under control.
Having that enemy Plague Society hero as a minor enemy early game was good, so it wasn't always about the Lich King.
The fact that our Sa Lasi was not a hero was already a sign he would not survive long in the campaign.
Why did poison reaching the heart kill him, if he was already undead.
They said farewell to him, then Ashan blew up his corpse? Kind of disrespectful.

Interlude
I originally thought the vampire was going to be a traitor, but I am liking his character even more than Ashan now.
How did the elves Teleport in so fast.
I like how it flashes back to fake dreams of him and people from his old life.

Ch4
Peaceful map, just moving the two heroes around.
I like the stealth aspect a lot,
Killing the golems at the start required 3-4 trips to hp fountain and back.
The chat when the Vampire is taking Mai Wei's ashes where he says he's a former enemy when taking his former enemy's ashes, hints at something that happened between them in the past.
Ashan tries hard to explain his reasons behind his actions to He Xiaoshu but he just sounds crazy.

Ch5
Why didn't the trolls ever attack Dalaran before this rebellion? They still hated the Blood Elves back then too right?
10 mins for Phoenixes to arrive, because as soon as they available that's the only unit people are ever going to use.
The enemy heroes are far stronger than our heroes.
I really like this level. There are so many ally bases.

Ch6
Nice set up for that warden hero we see in the cutscene, because there was a dialogue for that boat wreck we came across in the southwest.
Ha, Maiev had landmines left over from when she blew up Archimonde's base :).

Ch7
Very tough fire lord fight.
Are the 3 heroes getting injured an excuse to remove them from the story (going back to Dalaran to heal) so they do not complicate the plot?

Interlude
Very realistic showing issues within the Hand of Vengeance boiling over.

Ch8
Illidan died that fast?
Is the ghost who accompanies Darion the ghost of Ashan's fiancé? Possible love triangle brewing?
Problem with grey AI- positioning. The grey ally base is right next to a static group of Human buildings/units, and instead of attacking the 3 main bases, it just launches attacks against that useless Human encampment.
The ghost making statements about how Darion had big impact on her life, but she only knew him for a few days since she helped him hunt down Illidan lol.

Ch9
Yellow is so much a better ally than grey last mission- for various reason like yellow has strong hero and he is blocking a path for the Undead to attack our own base, so even if he is useless he can be used as a meat shield.
Haha, the Templar knights upon finding out their holy artifact chose an Undead as its owner.

Interlude
The Undead Spirit walkers are the only ones here who had a bad resolution--- their former comrades want nothing to do with them.
He Xiaoshu telling Ashan the transport boat to Northrend will be free-- as if he isn't doing enough sending his army to fight the Lich king?

Ch12
Flashbacks to first night elf campaign with this kind of terrain, one of the toughest missions of the Lonely Nightstar.
No resolution for the Night Elf story--- Shandris was right. At the end of the campaign, the Night Elves are the only group that are still losers, along with the Lich King.

Ch13
I wish it was told to us beforehand that the main Undead base buildings would be invulnerable until we complete more of the main quest.
Also wish we had an ally base for this mission.
Who is Cairne talking about, regarding the trouble maker who is trying to challenge Thrall? Is there ever a resolution to this subplot?
I like how we saw the temple we encountered in the Undead campaign when we killed the trolls as the Undead.

Ch14
Some issues with Stormwind's AI and the Blood Elf AI. I think it is because one of them has a possession/charm spell, which causes AI to have issues since it has a new type of unit it would never build. Also, the lumbermill for I think the Blood Elves was too close to the trees, so some workers who wanted to go re-build destroyed buildings were stuck between the trees and the lumbermill. I could see them trying to leave but they couldn't get out.

Interlude
The stupid leaders were watching 2/3s of their troops die then cry about it, while they were staying back, far from the battle.
Fantastic scene at end of the interlude when the heroes are last seen running towards Icecrown Citadel through the green plague- then the scene fades out, combined with that great music.

Ch15
Nice Final fight against the Lich King.

Interlude
I thought Ashan might order the catapults to attack everyone when he was looking down on them after the Lich King was defeated.

Final Map
The watcher is watching us back O.O.
Really sad how Ashan still will never be with Zhen Ni again.
Great to see all those credits.

General points
One of the best campaigns I have ever played. Love the RTS missions, especially the ones with lots of ally bases. Really looking forward to Flower Fairy's next campaign.

  1. An attacking cauldron xD Model has no death/decay animation.
  2. Because some transmissions run so fast, the player can't properly delve into the story.
  3. Giant stitched monster uses a hero model with glow and no decay animation.
  4. Why does Arache feel the need to confess? Did he hope to defeat Ashan through drama?
  5. Not sure how a toxin can kill undead reaching the entity's heart? Regardless, Sa Lasi could have been reanimated as a skeleton or perhaps even kept as a ghost.
  6. Crying undead?
  7. In chapter 4, tulee's spell book wasn't in Ashan's inventory but on the ground in the mini-base.
  8. Love blinds from the sight of undead.
  9. Some worgen and blood elf units use hero models.
  10. The arcane golem's selection circle is too big.
  11. One of the ogres between the blood elf and draenei base is only a shadow for some reason. Same with one/some the gnolls, kobolds, neutral hostile golems, dark trolls. At this point it might be game/patch related or something. No idea.
  12. Why are the furbogls on the island enemies of the night elf?
  13. Textureless units issue persists in chapter 7, 8, 15 as well.
  14. Stuff like Suppression Aura look active instead of passive (icon borders).
  15. Joe has glow but is a regular unit.
  16. Chapter 8's enemy training speed is creepily fast.
  17. In the end of the chapter, the shaking starts before the undead army moves.
  18. Chapter 9's intro doesn't make sense in that Varian stands in the middle and has to turn all the time to face the speaker.
  19. Beve's icon is that of a blonde, not brunette. Mara's is that of a man (the Assassin's Creed dude to be precise).
  20. It's obligatory to first finish the Death Walkers quest before the undead main buildings become vulnerable. No hint about that though.
  21. Crypt Vanguards have glow but are not heroes.
  22. Weird that Darion, Eludis and the ashen knights didn't participate in the battle against Ashan.
  23. Eludis' animation freezes after taking Darion's curse, for a while.
  24. Savage Altar doesn't have a death animation.
  25. The heroes remain in the ships but are also present in their outside form during the ending cinematic. However, once the battle with the frost wyrm starts the embarked heroes when selected point to the ships.
  26. Poisonous Bite should look passive. Same with Beve's Bind. Also, this icon is already used for Spell Steal (Eludis). Same with
  27. Intelligence Enhancement and it's using the mage mantle item icon. Arcane Bomb uses the Staff of Teleportation's. Pretty lame considering the campaign uses custom imported stuff.
  28. The blue dragon egg says it summons a mayfly.
  29. Thrall's icon has a hood. Rokhan's, red hair.
  30. Chapter 13: low gold, constant attack waves. Crazy. Compensation, I guess, is that they don't have heroes when you can have 5.
  31. Game exited after the ending cinematic for chapter 14.
  32. In chapter 15, why is Alugal and his battalion invulnerable? Same with Ymir's. Oh, you have to move your heroes real close to them.
  33. Ganzs can get to the other side of the Icy Gate after Metamorphosis ends.
  34. Enemy heroes spam transmissions without much sense, one after another.
  35. The Ice Gate opens after all enemy heroes aside the Lich King are dead? Then how do you reach the last 4 if there's pathing blockers and the gate invulnerable?
light&shadow01.pnglight&shadow02.png
It's a nice campaign overall, with some classic gameplay (could have had custom scripted stuff, techtrees etc.) and a good story premise which sadly falls into a mishmash of Warcraft, own story and even real life stuff. Lovely terrain overall. There's definitely work put into it. It would have been good for all that energy to be concentrated on something original.

Approved.

  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.

I just want to say thank you to both Tulee and Flower Fairy for bringing these campaigns to us.
Playing through the earlier campaigns as I only played up to Evil Resurgent and forgot who most of the characters are

In accordance with the author's request, a version of her campaign saved on 1.36 has been uploaded, with the link at the bottom of the first comment. Thanks to Deepstrasz for helping with the ZIPing/separating of the files.
I've played around 7 missions, do i need to start over? is update minor (bugs, polish), or mayor(new caracters, story, etc)?

No. That file is an older version of the campaign for people who only have access to 1.36 wc3. It is missing all the spelling/grammar/missing translations that Cleavinghammer reported, as well as an unavoidable crash in the last RTS mission.

For the 1.27 version of Flower Fairy's campaign (not translated), those different parts are zip files. They need to be renamed, and then unzipped.
how about 1.36? is it still using the same method cause i see it also separated

i wish we could play this on 1.31
If you only want to play My Campaign with 1.31, you can only choose to play the Chinese version: lower fairy's new campaign

You can also choose to play the initial version (1.36)
But you need to download version 1.36 on my YouTube channel.

Besides Tulee, players should not expect anyone else to translate Chinese campaigns.
When an English campaign is released, many Chinese players are willing to translate it, but when a Chinese campaign is released, only Tulee can translate it.

I downloaded this a few days ago, so it's the updated one
Well, I thought it was just Kel'Thuzad's item causing the crash, but there may have been another AI hero using a spell or an ability item based on an item like scroll of healing or scroll of mana, etc, which seems to cause crashes on 1.31+. You might need to whosyourdaddy to pass through it. No other mission has this crash, just that final RTS mission.

I am using whosyourdaddy, and I can't get very far past where I save before it crashes again. I literally can't do this mission, so I might have to skip it unfortunately.

I'm pretty sure it is an AI hero that is causing it, so you just need to make sure you aim the Hero for each enemy faction when you whosyourdaddy through their bases before they have a chance to use spells. Similarly, make sure you have a unit in front of your ally bases to aim enemy heroes when they come attack your AI allies, as well as to prevent your AI allies from using spells while defending those attacks, incase it's an AI ally hero causing the issue and not an enemy hero. That is how I passed this mission with whosyourdaddy when I played through it.

I am pretty sure Flower Fairy's campaign on the original version she made it on never had this issue, so this crash only represents a problem with the later versions of WC3, and does not reflect on Flower Fairy's campaign itself.

Ive enjoyed these campaigns quite a lot what with the intense hero focus and such

I know that AI can be extremely aggressive in this campaign but chapter 13 feels impossible...
All 5 bases attack at once within 4 minutes (skipping the beginning cutscene) with full upgraded 50 pop armies

Is there something Im missing cause all other levels like this could be beaten by rushing with heroes
Even with 5 Lvl 10 heroes and no enemy heroes the attacks give no breathing room by the time the first mega death wave was beaten the next one arrived from 2 sides

Even turtling seems pointless cause theres like almost no gold in the mine (3k gold or around that)

Whosyourdaddy is active on the screenshot to showcase the amount of enemies (peons on hold command even killed a few)

My method is to directly search for ice troll allies, use 5 heroes and all units to destroy undead bases in the south.
It's also important for players to constantly use Heroes' spells, especially Thrall's spells.

Hi, I am still new in reforged. I am playing on 1.36.
for this campaign, there are 5 separate files. So, how I merge the files and play the campaign? Could you give me some steps or guide to do it?

Thank you

Why you not decide to straight use the latest patch (2.0.1) as tulee suggested? It's probably the most stable option.

Otherwise, you can use 7-Zip to merge those files into one campaign.

By the way, are you from Japan? Your name looks like a Japanese name. In my opinion, it is very rare for Japanese players to play Warcraft, especially my campaign, but anyway, I wish you a happy and enjoyable college life.
