More WIPs...

Now I'm really going in a new direction with this map... it's going to have a lot of waygates fo sho.

EDIT: I'm scrapping the entire map and starting anew.

Alrighty, got a buncha questions here for Frostwhisper:

- Although unlikely, may we have no new upgrades? (says "up to two")
- Can we go above and beyond the call of duty; i.e., make 2 custom units per race, or 2 buildings? Can we add Neutral Hero(es), if we have time? (Blizzard did it with Frozen Throne and recent patches).
- What can we import/make? Obviously, the custom models for the heroes/units/buildings must be custom-made, and only for the contest, but can we import Spell SFX? Icons? Sound SFX? Music? Etc?
- Only 2 abilities max for the unit? What if that unit is a Caster-type unit, with a 3-level spell set? Or needs a few passives to round him out?
- No triggering past the Hero/Unit abilities? What about those related to the Building? Or even if the Building has abilities?

I think that's all.

Screw the gradient, This is gonna be too long for me to use that tool...

Anyway:
- Yes you may. Like you noticed, it says "up to two".
- Nah, I'd say stick to the given maximums, as otherwise it would go beyond the theme, and be literally impossible for the judges to compare with other submissions.
-Aside from the unit/hero/building models and the scripts, all you can import are icons for the new additions. If you can't make these, you're gonna have to find fitting icons in the war3 mpq.
- I've set the maximum to two abilities, because I didn't want to see overly complicated units clogged up with a thousand abilities. Besides, the usual caster system is pretty unoriginal. Go beyond... ;)
- Technically the building may have abilities of its own (though they count for the maximum of two again). And sure you can trigger the building's abilities as much as you like. Just be creative.

He just said it was abomination-sized... But it does not look like it could be scaled that large in-game and still look good. And how will this be balanced? Will it be an upgrade for the abomination itself? Like a ranged version of the abomination or a faster-walking, higher attack damage dealing abomination?

Nah, you can edit the doodads, but you shouldn't touch the units. However if you really wanna make a different fountain of life, just make a doodad with no pathing, set it to the color and size you, smack it over the fountain and add some pathing blockers. And there you have it.
