If you don´t have competitive melee knoledge, is okay, you can use other criteria like: enviroment, effort, map shape and others.     Yeah, I hear that while it's giving Windows computers problems, it's much more problematic on Linux/Mac. WINE not working for you?

    WINE was working before until patch 1.29. Now since 1.30 either it crashes or doesn't launch at all. There is not even an error message on the PTR. Good lord what did they do to wc3!

    Lol..... I did, but in my post I preface that this was A: long time ago & B: in a galaxy far far away (Wc3c.net).
    
    No, here things are a bit different. I still never win, but it's more because the others are truly better. In fact, if you look at the Coding Criteria I reworked for the last Team Hero Contest, I worked hard to make it "language-agnostic" and (I feel) succeeded.

    Even if it's not overt discrimination, it's very difficult to surmount the implicit biases we all have. I rarely see my brand of GUI do well (and it's something I've come to accept).
