      Hey, Spellbound, is AttachObject intended to be able to attach hosts to other hosts, and if so, are the guests of the old host supposed to become attached to the new host?

        the Guests will remain the Guest of their original Host. If you attach a Host to another unit, they will simply link up and that Host will be both a Host and a Guest at the same time.

        The order of operations doesn't matter, btw. If you attach a unit or special effect to any other unit, that other unit becomes a Host, regardless if whether it was attached or not itself.

        PS: Only units can be Hosts.

        Hmm, when I hid the first host, its guests did not get hidden as well. This made me assume that the guests became attached to the new host somehow.

        AttachObject will automatically hide all attached Guests. If those are Hosts as well, their own Guests should also get hidden.

      It springs a ring of trees around a unit, trapping it in its place. It can also be used to select a point on the ground or yourself.

      * Wrath of Nature
      Summons a damaging energy that goes around the map damaging the enemies at random. Damage inflicted increases by 10% for each enemy hit

      Once upon a time I used Cohadar's JH when I first started using JNGP. I encountered a bug where Cohadar's JH was the problem, so I moved to Vex JH and I haven't changed since :P

      It was a mutual effort, you could say i built the "base" and a bit more. Then eejin rewrote things he didn't like and added more on top. This was my first encounter with c++ so i'm actually pretty satisfied.

      Hey dude. Posted to notify that I've updated my race once again because of bugs with the gold gathering and building system.

      Also, what are your opinions on the latest War3 patch? Figured I'd download it later this month to test out all the new things.

        The link to your final entry goes to the Wellings post, so as long as you keep updating that then people will always have access to your latest version. Keep updating the version history, though, so people who've downloaded older version can tell at a glance that it's been updated.

        As far as wc3 is concerned, I like the latest patch because it has the new natives. That's it. It somehow broke floating text through, and now they're right-aligned. There are still stuff to fix but on the whole nothing's been daamged.

        Moving special effects, for one. z/y/z, roll/pitch/yaw. Modifying damage inflicted. Reading damage values from the editor. GetMouseX/Y, etc. Lots of new stuff.

        No idea, I just said it might not work because of language because I think MindWorX said something about 1.29-compatible versions of WEX not working if your Warcraft 3 intall isn't english.

        As far as downgrading WEX, it all depends on your warcraft 3 version, I think. If you've upgraded warcraft 3 to 1.29.2 then I don't think any other version but the latest WEX with the updated addresses.xml would work.

      Your Void Ray system needs an update, sometimes lightning levels don't go back to level 1.

      Edit: I've updated the persistent beam system as it was 2 years out of date in void ray & I played with downgrade interval and things seem to work fine now, you should still update the map though :)

        I still doesn't handle well on water. I'm working on another lightning system atm so maybe I might be able to solve this with it. I'll be waiting the next warcraft patch, however. Fingers crossed for new native functions!

        It's works "OK-ish" and it can also work for stuff like bridges, ramps, invisible platforms u have to make a region n detect if unit is in it n change the level 1 further that way it looks good, it's a really long workaround cuz dumb wc3 doesn't know z height, I doubt we will see wc3 getting any love any time soon without a remaster
