Map: Mediterranean.

Players must fight over a lake with plenty of fish, surrounded with lush forests, resources, and a few lost relics lying within the area.

  • This map takes most inspiration out of Age of Empires 2. With a few differences.
  • This is my very first project where I actually take things more seriously, yet there may still be some missing stuff.
  • Credits given to all who contributed either with models or triggers, were put at both in the triggers and an in-game quest.
  • Any bug or error encountered, feel free to leave it in the comments.
  • Balance Change suggestions welcome, since this is my first time attempting to make a custom map like this.
  • This map was meant to be played with SD graphics (classic WC3), and requires the latest Warcraft 3 Reforged.

It's not really necessary to wait 30s to choose a faction especially when you can't see any details about them and you simply have to one click. The terrain layout isn't quite symmetrical and some players might start nearer to others. Also, it's...

Credits must foremost be in the map thread as the rules declare. Please if you've used other material from other games/media credit them/their authors as well.

Also, if you plan on uploading more maps with the same gameplay, please add them to this thread and not separately.

Awaiting Update.

ADDITIONAL NECESSARY INFORMATION
  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.

It's not really necessary to wait 30s to choose a faction especially when you can't see any details about them and you simply have to one click.
The terrain layout isn't quite symmetrical and some players might start nearer to others. Also, it's pretty bland looking.
The water is placed in such a way that it's mostly useful for fishing rather than backdoor/unexpected tactics or troops mobilization.
You could make the passive ability icons look passive (example: Pierce Armour) with: Button Manager v1.8.2
All workers have the same icon and model; it's a bit confusing and not nice to look at.
Shipyard and Dock have the same icon. Same: Militia (the model doesn't even fit the icon) and Man-at-Arms, Spearman (model doesn't fit icon) and Pikeman, Fishing and Transport Ship (also model); same most of the cavalry; Masonry and Fortified Wall, Battering Ram and Mangonel etc.
Clicking on Fish is a bit annoying.
Mink's icon isn't fitting.

So while the general feel is nice, at the end of the day, the factions are not that different and the gameplay is extensively regular Warcraft III.

Approved.
