IC: Zarator did see Valls great effort and the worms pain. Inspired by this he vent up to the bell and ringed with it to get the peoples attention and he cried out "To long we have hidden in the shadows of fear, been enslaved by the fear of the undead, those days are over. As you see the worm has stopped, the time to attack is now!"

IC: Hearing Zarator, the milita regrouped and charged the worm.

Taiion tried to stay in the air after striking the creature, but rolled and fell collapsing in a pile at the base of the hill.

Taiion sword whipped around and he tried to stab the lich repeatedly driving into where its hear should be, and its head...

Taiion manages to cut the lich to pieces, forcing it's soul to retreat to it's Phylacetry.

Zarator roars out, and immense dark energy surges through his body.
The Milita charges the worm, and slowly begins to cut it to pieces, taking NO casualties.

Niahcluc let out a terrifying cry and charged into the worm, slashing and swinging in a great rage.

Taiion stared at the remains, wondering if any was good to keep...

OOC: is the worm bleeding or is it entirely made out of bones?

Raylik arrived at the boneworm, but saw that it was to late, it was already dead.

Zarator arrived right after Raylik, and stopped, felt the dark energy flowing through him his eyes turned black. His friendly smile had turned to a grotesque grimace. He felt to the ground, worn out by his first spell.

"Did I miss all the fun?" Lucien called as he pelted his way up to the wreckage.

''Yep.'' Niahcluc grinned.
''Good we didn't lost men, eh?''

Taiion stood on the cliff and looked down on the dead boneworm.
He could see Vall cutting his way out of the worm's stomach, he could see the others's victory cheer, he could see Vall showing the others how the worm was full of gold, and he could see how Zarator was surging with dark power.
While they had killed the enormous worm, he had obliterated the lich's body, and he had found a sealed tome bound in black leather.

OOC: I know i halfway ignored some of your posts, but this is kind of a summary of how the combat turned out.

Zarator rose again, his friendly smile was returning to his face but he was a bit pale after his inner battles. "We made it" he whispered to himself and he begun to laugh, first weak but after a vile stronger and more confident.

Taiion picked up the tome and flew donw to join the battle. "that was easy, he said as he landed.

Vall walked over to Taiion.
"Good job on killing the lich!"
He said as heartily as an undead person can.
"What do you suggest we do with the Boneworm's corpse?
The treasures inside have allready been carried up to the vault.

OOC: on a DM note: a Boneworm is technically undead, but it is flesh and blood none the less.

"we will turn it into our new barracks!" he smiled. We will leave it as a testament to our victory!" he yelled.

Taiion turned to Niahcluc. "of course i am. it is massive, and with the right rennovations it can be hollowd out to give you twice the space the old barracks. and it wil stand as a testamant to our victory! it wil give the men morale.

Niahcluc opened his mouth.
''So.. how will the men be warm, then?'' he asked.
''And how do we know the bones are strong enough?''
''And let's not forget the stench, of course! It would take ages to clean that completely out!''

Burn the flesh, the bones will survive, as will much flesh, and it will no longer stink. it might take ahwile, but a number of steps can be taken. simple wooden supports wll keep it up, if thats an issue. And i highly doubt that the taven could be warmer than this husk. a few fireplaces will do, however. By the size of this beast we could have two floors."

''However, if we burn the flesh, cracks will appear in the bones, thus weakening it. Wooden supports are extremely unhandy for this form as it isn't any exact form, also, it would have almost no isolation.'' he countered.

Wood is much less insulatory than flesh and bone. and i highly doubt that cracks will appear. I do not see why wooden supports would be unhandy, they can be cut. the utility of such a structure cannot be surpassed.

"then tell me why it hasnt collapsed." taiion retorted. "Look, i will handle this, i want you to get ready to transfer up here in a few days." he looked firecly. and then started walking back to town.

Niahcluc grunted something and spit on the ground.
He walked away, rather angry.

"Please tell me captains don't have to start sleeping in the barracks?", Lucien asked miserably, walking after Niahcluc.

Vall walked up next to Niahcluc.
"It has actually been proven that the Boneworms make exellent housing.
Just look at the Workan, they have a whole empire inside them."

''How can they make excellent housing if there are holes in the corpse and you can't construct any other form with it?'' he asked critically.

"The bones are self-sustaining."
Vall said.
"If you manage to crack or break them, they will automatically re-shape themselves.
While they are in this state, they are very easy to bend."

Taiion went to the tavern, and called for rennovation of the corpse to begin immediatly, and to finish in five days. thats when the barracks and soldiers would be moved in, and over the next month or so the second floor, and first floors would be finished and furnished. then he relaxed at his table. "big day..." he sighed, opening the lich's book...

Taiion soon realized that he couldn't open the book's seal.
It was a planar seal, something he could not override.

Zarator stumbled into the tavern. "something strong please." he said to the barkeeper with his face pale from exhaustion.

"Same here" Proffered Lucien, entering behind him.
"You did well today, I noticed you struggled to recover though... are you ok?" he asked, apparently genuinely concerned.

"I'll be after a drink, or ten. Its the first time i have used magic in a battle, it was harder than i imagined." Zarator said. "but thanks for the concern."

"Really? What magic do you practice?" Lucien asked, mildly interested.
