The Barkeeper said with a "broken smile".
"You see, our chef got quite drunk yesterday, and he made alot of messed up food.
So today's special is Rotroot Stew, which generally is Skurd that isn't liquid."

"Haha... I'll be fine, chuck one here, perhaps some water to wash it all down though..." Lucien insisted.

Zarator woke up to the sight of the bar desk. he lifted his head and saw Lucien and the barkeeper having a conversation. "How long have i been sleeping?" he asked himself wile scratching his face.

The barkeeper shrugged an served Lucien a bowl full of black stew.

OOC: Aww, right in the middle of your and gray's ´conversation in LoL.

Lucien raised his eyebrows questioningly, but set to consuming the meal at any rate.

Though it had just about 10% too much Soap Opera.

The Barkeeper said, stopping Lucien from eating the stew.
He fetched a rod of fire from under the bartable and set the stew in flames. Black flames.
"There! Now it's edible.
Without the flames Rotroot is generally poison in it's purest form."

"..." Lucien just stared at the man, absolutely aghast.
"You know what? I'm actually not that hungry, thanks anyway, I'll just take a water please" he said carefully pushing the burning stew across the counter.

Zarator stood up and walked out "better check out the library." he thought and walked in to the library.

The Barkeeper served Lucien some water.

"Cheers" Lucien nodded, downing the lot in one.
"Remind me to enquire what's in anything I purchase from here in the future" he half-joked, turning to face the window, gazing out at the quiet streets.

"I will."
The Barkeeper said, without further remarks.

The Libary was quite a sight.
They had made it by combining marble pillars and wooden planks.
It was quite huge too.

Niahcluc stood up and grunted.
Even this night he couldn't sleep.. he didn't know why, but he simply couldn't sleep. It'd be best to visit a mage about this...
He opened the barrack door and went to the tavern.

Niahcluc noticed him but shrugged, walking to the bartender.
''A skurd, please.'' he asked him.

"And one for me." Taiion said calmly to the bartender. The groups of men laughed at the thought of Taiion's 43 drink...

Mourg pushed into the crowded bar. He wasn't in a terribly good temper, so tried to avoid the large crowd of people clustered around the bar. When he saw Taiion in the middle of a stack of mugs, however, he stopped to watch.

Taiion spun around and spotted morug. "perfect. i was looknig for you." he said. feigning druckeness. and he grabbed mourg by the shoulder and brought him over to his table. "i need you to break a planar seal.

 

[Crazy Cow]

Taiion was quite obviously drunk as he led Mourg to his table. Mourg knew neither what a planar seal was, nor how one was broken, and didn't fancy learning from a drunk vampire.
"Why don't we just wait until you've sobered up a bit?" Mourg suggested to the intoxicated Taiion.

I know he isn't drunk, but Taiion is doing a very good job at pretending to be.

Suddenly taiion returned to normal. "You do know tht it is impossible for my kind to succumb to drink? correct?" he scoffed. "Now. you are a planar mage, break the seal if you please."

"I'm a necromancer, not a mage," Mourg said. He could have sworn Taiion was drunk...

Taiion sstuup up, and grabbed mourg around the throat. he said with a deadly cold voice... "Break it. now."

Whenever Mourg looked at the seal he got a strange feeling in his warped hand.

Mourg shrugged, and then punched the seal with his warped hand.

 

[Dragonson]

At the moment he did so, a deep and cold voice bellowed through the tavern.
"We greet you, Brother.
May the planar gates lie open for you, and may your warped body give you power."
Then a silent *click* were heard from the seal, and it vanished into thin air.

Taiion drpped mourg and grabbed the book. opening it carefully.

When taiion opened the book he felt immense energy surge from it's pages.
He saw, on the first page, a huge pentagram.
Though he soon realized, that it was more than just a pentagram.
It was a map, a map of The Five Planes.

He stared at the book intently... "hmmm...."

OOC: Maybe you read the book?

"Wow, wel have a heck of a job filling this place." Zarator mumbled to himself, he walked up to a bookshelf and began reading the book titles "Hm, wonder if there is anything about the control of dark powers here?"

Mourg was a bit surprised at how strong Taiion was, and very surprised at the disembodied voices. The seal had completely disappeared, and Taiion was now buried in his spellbook. Thinking of its twin, Mourg pulled out his own demonic spellbook and absentmindedly leafed through the pages, looking for anything that made sense amongst the demonic gibberish.

Niahcluc observed them, grunting.
He found it rather interesting how they acted right now..
Grinning, he took a sip of his beer.

Raylik heard the voices and looked around but couldn't find the source, so he stood up to search for their origin, but when he stood up he saw Taiion and Mourg at a table deep into powerful-looking books, so he sat down again.

Taiion soon realized that he was looking at a planar spellbook.
One containing various guides to planar magic, including travel from plane to plane.
Obviously something important since it had been sealed.

@Zarator
Noone answered him, and he realized he were alone in the library.

Taiion looked on at its pages in amazement... "perhpse this should be yours... mourg..."

IC: Zarator Walked up to a bookshelf and began reading the titles on the books, searching for books wich had the knowledge of self control when it comes to dark magic.
