i guess it's fair to say that this contest was already given up. there are no more posts by the contestants (or at least the ones who didn't say officially that they are quitting) about what they are up to :O
To prove that you're wrong, Linaze, I am joining this contest. Yes, the deadline is roughly three days - enough for me.A decent War3 campaign takes, if working super-hard, some three months to complete (at the very least). Those who haven't made massive progress already won't have a chance to finish on time.
Give this up.
If you mean that you'll start today (or yesterday if that's when your post was made), then you'll not finish a decent campaign by the deadline, it's as simple as that.To prove that you're wrong, Linaze, I am joining this contest. Yes, the deadline is roughly three days - enough for me.
Good luck to everyone else!
Watch me while I do it.If you mean that you'll start today (or yesterday if that's when your post was made), then you'll not finish a decent campaign by the deadline, it's as simple as that.
That is correct. More importantly, however, is that I already won.don't forget that Apheraz is technically competing against Linaze![]()
After three days, all I got are two chapters and two interludes.
You put up a good fight against time despite all odds being against you. Impressive, inspiring and applaud-worthy.I give up. After three days, all I got are two chapters and two interludes.
It appears that Linaze was right: you can't create a good campaign in a short period of time. But his statement are wrong: I had roughly 3 hours a day to work, and I was able to pull out something. Let me re-phrase:
You'll CAN finish a decent campaign by the deadline, even in three days, if you have time.
A short span of time killed my creativity, and my maps started to behave weirdly after some time, during to my absence of knowledge in creating campaigns.
But don't think that I will quit on this. You can expect me in the next contest.
Sorry for letting some of you down. I admit it: I rushed without thinking.
But I'm still a motivation to certain people. I got several messages where people told me "You made me work on my map, just because you stated that something can be done if one wants it."
Still, if anyone wants to see it, I will probably rework the map and upload it.
Sorry again. You won, Linaze. And about my dignity... dead.
I think that the contest suffocated, drowned, has been stabbed quite a few times, poisoned twice and hurled from Mount Everest to be rolled to it's bottom.
So, yeah, it's dead.
