Warcraft 3 Re-Reforged: Exodus of the Horde

Feeling like a dumbass, can't seem to get the campaign to load into my WC3 install. Can someone give me a "For Dummies" how-to for adding the file into my game?

I re-installed WC3 TFT, downloaded the campaign file, moved it to Warcraft III\Save\Profile1\ with the other campaign files, then booted the game. didn't see it in my list of campaigns. I love the look of this and would like to give it a go, but I seem to be suffering from Blonde Brain tonight

Wow, what? I mean you didn't own a full game legally with the latest patch (aka "WC3 TFT")?
This campaign is only playable on the latest patch, and your game must be using pure Reforged graphics (NOT Classic OR even Classic HD graphics).

At first glance you moved the file in the wrong directory, look in "my documents" for the wc3 campaign folder.

At first glance you moved the file in the wrong directory, look in "my documents" for the wc3 campaign folder.

This is correct, but as you may know on, the latest patch of Reforged introduced a new mode where you can play the game on upscaled Classic graphics.
However, this campaign only works if your game mode is set to "pure HD" graphics.
To enable "pure HD" graphics, simply set all options inside "Reforged" section in the game options (there are 6) to "Reforged" (make sure you set the main graphics mode from "Classic" to "Reforged" first).
Do note that 2.0. is extremely buggy right now. Expect a lot of graphical issues when playing on HD mode. Same thing happened for CSW.

I just downloaded CSW on my newest PC and obviously stopped playing because of the portrait issues due to the recent patch. But for WC3 Re-Reforged works only in Reforged graphics and to install it should be simple as [1:download 2: drag folder into the "campaign" folder within the WC3 folder in your documents]. If you never had any custom campaigns then it should automatically create a custom campaign folder once you start playing or you can create the "custom campaign" folder yourself then drop it in but it's easier to just drag it into the campaigns folder. In your case I would delete the Re-reforged file currently in there and then apply step 2 and it should work. Just a heads up some of the custom models will have portrait issues and will portray the base unit used for their customized unit instead of showing the custom unit itself. It's a small bug but even something that small ruins my experience when I like 100% immersion with no setbacks.

The correct location for custom campaigns such as this would be Documents > Warcraft III > Campaigns

Hey, I see in your map "Mission 05 (Contdown to Extinction)" that you use DNC models. A new bug introduced in patch 2.0 causes your map to not function as it should, namely, all models becomes unshaded when you apply a DNC model that contains a light node. Also there seems to be some issue with the ground tiles. I'd appreciate if you can leave a comment here, and explain how this DNC bug has affected your project: DNC light models now bugged (post patch 2.0).

EDIT: After a lot of testing with DNC models, it seems like the ambient intensity setting in light nodes has been buffed. Decreasing ambient intensity will fix the issues introduced in patch 2.0.

Try both. It's self-evident. One is a port, the other one is a remake. Both good in their own rights depending on what you seek.
