So after installing it and playing the campain(Flawless btw, great campain)
My melee maps lack the tree textures
I tried Scanning and Repairing the game but so far no luck.

I'm thinking If I can find the folder with these trees textures I can perhaps delete it and try the Scan & Repair again.
Any ideas?

If I put full reforged graphics it looks like reforged would normally.

Seems when re-reforged is installed the classic textures would be just incompatible , great campain but I also like classic graphics when playing on ladder.

Make sure that your folder name is in Latin characters only. No strange Cyrillic or anything. It's a system restrictions that prohbits any kind of non-ASCII characters.

I am having the same issue as zryb. I reinstalled the game and the downloader twice. I saw the option to use the old regorfed evenviormet, but still doesn't work.

Just to be specific I am only having this issue with this campaign. Other custom campaigns work just fine.

Please, @InsaneMonster make hashsum checks as from downloading from google it constantly looses files, even using archive option. Or better use LFS

You have to be on the latest patch of Reforged (currently 2.0.2) for sure, though we'd better to wait for an upcoming live update since Blizzard is working to fix for the custom unit portraits/skins and the invisible models during gameplay, among the other issues.

From my observation, using a download manager or even without download manager, but with VPN being activated has almost zero effect on most issues. @deme3s said in this thread of Age of Warcraft mod that he was unable to download his own mod with Opera (stuck at 25%). Try not downloading this mod using Opera (or disable the VPN that comes with Opera). If you have a VPN activated, try reset it.

Check the allowed to use local files in the registry, use this. It is possible that the installer failed to record this parameter. I got the same effect because I ran the asset installer and the game in different wine/proton on linux.

Very very weird, have you tried running the installer with advmin privileges?

Show details looked fine (showed 7z files extracting etc). I just tried making a folder on my desktop and pointing the installer at it and that worked fine, very confusing. That being said, making a desktop folder and targeting it with the installer then copying the contents to your Warcraft III folder is an easier workaround than dealing with google drive so if anyone else runs into this that's what I'd recommend.

Make sure you are specifying the right folder. It is possible the installer is targeting by default the Program Files folder instead of Program Files (x86) folder.

In the last version. I played classic campaign and got my tree's disappear. They are Summer Lordaeron trees, and their models were invisible. I double checked it in WorldEditor - same issue: invisible destructive trees, yet workers can still harvest them or attack.
When I deleted Re-Reforged assets the uninstaller and launched the same campaign/World Editor again, trees became visible.

Hello guys, I am trying to install the assets on Mac OS (Sonoma 14.5). I did download the assets and put them to the recommended retail folder.
Still does not work. I am attaching the folder path screen as well as the screenshot from the first campaign chapter that I get.

P.S. I did enter the following command "defaults write "com.blizzard.Warcraft III" "Allow Local Files" -int 1" in the terminal as was required and it seemed to work.

Any solutions?

That's the issue I'm afraid. You can only play this updated campaign on the latest Battle.net patch (2.0.3).

And yes, you are using a pirated copy of WC3 Reforged. We don't even support any kind of piracy. Sorry.

Make sure that the mod is installed in a correct game directory (the one with "Warcraft III Launcher.exe"), and that path must contain Latin-only characters, no strange symbols. For some reason, the installer puts all required files in a wrong place.

Use 3rd party download managers like IDM, which allows you to resume download interruption. And don't use VPN.

That error likely means you are playing with an older version of WC3. The current version is 2.0.3.23175, and you should be able to download it through Battle.net.

Blacked terrain and units

Has anyone have issues playing Warcraft 3 re-reforged undead and prologue where the units and terrain are shaded all black? I have no issues playing the human campaign and everything seems normal, but both the prologue and undead campaigns have this issue. Anyone know any fixes?

Have you been able to resolve this? I am struggling. I'm using Mac OS Monterey 12.6.1. I didn't even have a retail folder where you did, so i created one and out the assets inside. This didn't work for me. I am also not certain if following command "defaults write "com.blizzard.Warcraft III" "Allow Local Files" -int 1" in the terminal is actually being done correctly. Any help would be amazing.

I have made attempts again by renaming the receipt folder and reviewing the command i made. Here is the location of where i placed items with the essential roadmap highlighted to its more easily readable. And for Terminal, this is how i have put in the command. I dont know Terminal so as far as I know i did it wrong, but i dont know how. Any thoughts?

You are placing them in the document folder, not the installation folder. You should place the retail folder where the executable is.
