Simple Soldier

Militia man Zohan does business just as usual. Lamenting the loss losses suffered in his life, he continues carrying out tasks for the local militia guild he's working in. However, his life is about to change as he will witness the downfall of his kingdom, his lifestyle will change for the worse, and he has to participate in a futile last stand against the invaders. He and his mates will try to stop the unstoppable, but the question is, how long can they delay the inevitable?

(This is the first map of a halted series I'm working on. The idea is that just like in a MOBA, you control one unit, while the everything else is AI Controlled. This map puts the idea in practice and juxtaposes the player's role, power and influence in the story.)

In chapter 3, there's tooltip errors for abilities. One ability is named Drunken Brawler when you learn it. Learn about tooltips:

You can turn icons like that for Battle Training into a passive looking one with:

Units might just remain behind, especially priests that get dragged outside the party region points but not only, some units like Militia can also remain behind.
Reached the gate with Lionsmell's troops but didn't find any key. Also couldn't teleport over it.

Generally, unpolished and unfinished material even though the idea might not have been bad with proper work and creativity.
An adequate campaign, requires a game cache, a story, some cinematic scenes, something to make it feel like one.

Substandard.

ADDITIONAL NECESSARY INFORMATION
  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.
