"Wow... where to begin? I am not from around here, as you have probably guessed. I am of noble birth, my father was... well is part of hierarchy some where, neither parents wanted anything to do with me, to be honest I'm a bastard. I lived my early days on a farm, moved onto a blacksmith's apprentice for a year at sixteen. During that time I took to the rapier and duelling, I practised day and night, entered tournaments, even won a few, some of the smaller ones mind. That a long with the apprentice pay got me by for a few years, very recently with the land in such a bad shape, I decided I would give freelance mercenary work a try, though I'm yet to discover if I am as good in the field as I am in the ring", Lucien leaned back in the chair and stared placidly out of a window, awaiting an answer from the hooded man.

Lucien drew in breath, seeing the man indicate the 'rude commoner', but quickly pulled himself together, nodding in gratitude "That sounds exquisite, my lords, I would most certainly be willing to give it a try, assuming it is no trouble for Niahcluc" he said indicating the boisterous man with a wave of his long arm.

Lucien thought for a moment, "I ca-", He quickly drew back, but seeing the scrutinizing faces continued.
"I guess I can do a good majority of things, I'm physically fit, I finished my blacksmith apprenticeship, though I may be a bit rusty - I'm sure I could get back on form there - I'm fairly confident and don't mind taking or giving orders, as long as their reasonable" he finished with a quick, hopefully unnoticeable glance towards Niahcluc.

OOC: Keep it going D: lol

IC: Lucien's sleep was disturbed and restless, he fought in his dreams against an invisible enemy, one he could not defeat, no matter how hard he tried. He awoke drenched in sweat several times, once he even found viper unsheathed and pointed towards the open window, he got up and wandered downstairs, he needed some fresh air.

It was still dark out, he had no idea what time it was, but he found a bench and sat head in his hands, still drenched in sweat and looking very much bedraggled.

Zarator opened a window and sat a chair next it. siting in his chair he looked out of his widow, trying to think of ideas to recover flora that would thrive in the fort.

OOC: heh, guys?
Remember: I AM ill, and today i don't have to stay awake. ;)
I'l be on for a little longer, but not much.
I'l do your roll flat, but after that i don't have time to do proper updates on the bulletin board and such.
Simply too tired. :S

DM: Chenneling: Roll (1d6): 2.
Once again, Taiion felt his power coming back to him, but only very little of it.
Still a very long way to go.

OOC: Now, i better go and sleep. Really. :S
I'l do the updates when i'm awake 'nough to do it tomorrow

OOC: Night then, lol :) In-fact I'll be going to, good place to leave it I think?

IC: Lucien, having calmed down, gathered himself and headed back up to his room, he lay viper under the bed, hoping this would help his mind settle, and sprawled upon the bed, exhausted, awaiting the dawn. Turning over one name in his head, over and over again.

Niahcluc dropped his bottle and yawned.
He hadn't slept. His eyes were probably red.
''Time to wake up that man..'' he grunted.
He saw him walk up to his room. So he was here.
Quickly he asked where Lucien was sleeping and got the number of his room.
He walked upstairs and knocked on his door.

Damnation, I've been away too long. Sorry I was gone so long; my internet failed me for a while. I'll catch up on recent events and get back into the RP.

Glad to hear you're back CC! :)
We can say (like with SoL) that you've been with the party all along.
You get the 10000 GP, though not the Lord Status that Zarator, Niahcluc and Taiion has.
I hope that's kay with you?

Anysways: Doing teh updates.

EDIT: Updates done.

Mourg got up, stretching. He had been lazing about ever since he had returned from the test that Towershield had set up, but today he would get back in gear and start doing something.
He left his room, which was located in a decent tavern somewhere in the center of Fort Brenrok. When he went downstairs for a bit of breakfast, he saw Taiion in a corner, hunched over a bundle of papers.
Mourg ordered a small breakfast and went over to Taiion's table.
"Hail, Taiion. Do you mind if I sit down?"

OOC: ok.

Taiion ordered his usual, and then started to write another decree...

'By order of:
Lord Taiion

Decree Number:
4

Decree to:
Lord Niahcluc

Orders:
Lord Niahcluc is hereby ordered to begin expansionisim. He is ordered to clear out any undead near the fort, its farmland, and to explore the area. He is reccomended not t take risks with the lives of the men. He is reccomended to try to also use this Order as a training Exercise.

Signed:
Lord Taiion Methuselah Lucifer'

He finished writing it, ad pasted it on the bulliten board, before returning to his table.

EDIT:

Taiion smiled as mourg walked up. "greetings mourg." he said.

Taiion glanced up for a second at mourg before returning to his work. Without straying from his work, or looking up, he said "well, you are a very accomplished mage. Try and help the mages here to prepare a large mass-channeling to control the undead. maybe with more channelers, we can properly cast the spell. lets set it up for 3:30 today."
