Brandon goes into a defensive stance, ready for anything.
He can feel the Dwarven Stoneblood rushing through his veins,
And as the wave of dark energy hits him, he takes no damage.

Geeron
Counterattack: Roll (1d6): 6.
Rolling the Crit Chart: 3. Good Stuf!
Geeron Slices straight through the shade's throat.
Too late to prevent the wave of dark magic to be released,
but still killing the shade. Now, standing at the core of where the dark magic is coming from,
Geeron isn't hurt. He does though notice something strange in the crossbow mechanism on his soulblade.


Mourg
The corpse takes the blow fro Mourg.
Mourg takes no damage.

Taiiom
Spell Check: Roll (1d6): 3.
Dark energy sprouts from Taiion's hands, absorbing all the dark magic coming towards him.
With no targets left to attack, the energy flies toward the corpse lying beside mourg, consuming it, and then returns to Taiion.

OOC: is it too late to join? if not as soon as i create a char could someone give me feedback on parts of the things that happened? Also xD these soul blades make my think an awe full lot of Shinigami's Zanpakuto from bleach. xD

OOC: Well Phoon, you can join Post your sheet, and we can make up some way for you to join in. (Preferably in PM's). What IS bleach anyway? I see people refering to it all the time.
It's a manga right?

Geeron looks at the crossbow mechanism in his soulblade.
It looks strange... but Geeron can't really put a finger on WHAT makes it looks strange.
(If you want to know, i suggest firing it.)

Description: Darek stands tall at about 2.3 Meters (7.6 Feet) He is a buffed and seasoned Warrior. Darek is bald, he wears a leather shoulder pad on his right shoulder, his shoulder pad is hold in place by two leather bands around is arm and one thick leather band across his back and chest. He wears a bears pelt around his waist hold in place by a belt, also of black leather, to his belt two skulls are attached. His boots are nothing more then a pelt wrapped around his feet and hold together whit bands of leather or some tendons. Around his wrists he wears bracelets whit teeth of all sorts of creatures attached to it.

Geeron aimed straight infront of him and fired the crossbow.

OOC: OKay... Geeron First.

IC:
Geeron fires the crossbow, and everything seemed usual,
until the bolt turned into a small raven with a shining white beak.
The raven, lacking a target to collide with, flew over and landed on Geeron's shoulder.
There curiously begun examining the room.

OOC:
OKay, lets make you a soulblade Phoon.
You don't want an axe, so i'm thinking of giving you a soulblade like the ones the Workan has.
The Workan (that's one Worka, two Workan) is a new race i'm introducing (NOT AS A PLAYER RACE!). I made a drawing of one of them, which i will be posting soon. Anyways:
Ragecleaver
Ragecleaver is like a scythe, but the handle isn't curved, making it easy to use as a weapon.
It's blade is black, covered with runes, and it's handle is covered in orcish warpaint.
The runes on the blade sometimes cause random magical stuff to happen, which varies depending on Darek's mood.

While Mourg was lying next to the shade's victim, he got a good look at who it was (anything interesting?). Standing up, he looked around the room, noticing Geeron had aquired a small hawk-like bird from somewhere.

Maybe we can find him as captive of the Spectre?, and you can always just fall in a hole on some meadow and drop down on our heads

Taiion was interested by his strange new powers. he stood, examining the room, peering into a dark corner where he thought he might have seen somthing move. (phoon?)

OOC: i know something to do whit this ^^

IC: Darek wakes up, for how long had he been sleeping? he try's to look around tough his eyes are still adapting to the light. he then can see a group standing in the midle of the room, he stands up and try's to walk towards them to discover he is shackled. "what the..." he pulls his arm trying to break the chains but they are to tough "Hey! you there! help me, I'm chained to the wall!"

Taiion realizes that there IS sombody there. he walks forwart to the orc and attempts to break his shakles. (strength check)

Moving over to the newcomer, Mourg drew his soulblade and stabbed down at one of the chains binding the other orc, attempting to break them.

OOC: ok so now i should wait for the strength checks right? I'm not used to RP's whit systems so. ^^ BTW Dragonson could you post a picture of that scythe? or a concept design of it.

Edit: NVM i misread your post. i thought you said you were going to post a pic of the weapon. i new saw you meant of the race oO. anyhow is it a scythe whit short handle or a long one?

IC: Darek looks at the chain. "Hmmm, maybe... yes worth a try" Derek looks at the wall the chains are attached to and smiles. he then puts is feet against the wall right between the attachment points. He then starts to push whit his legs strengthening his arms, holding them against his body. while he does that he slowly puts his feet higher up the wall still pushing as hard as he can.
(another strength roll i suppose?)

OOC: yeah guess, but what about taiion's vampiric bonuses?

Taiion mutters darkly. then trys to help again in the orcs attempts by sending a jolt of energy into the shakles.

While the others tried to free the prisoner Geeron looked around the room for anything of interest.

OOC: The drawings aren't that bad Ya know if you want i could draw some stuff, i need to improve meh skillz anyways.

OOC: NO vampiric bonuses to rolls Flat
You might be a vampire, but you're still a mage.
If you were a vampire barbarian, then we could talk about strength bonuses on rolls

And about the drawings...
Well, the reason i draw is that i want to show you how i imagine things look.
That wouldn't really work if i had others draw them for me

With combined strength, the three adventurers finally succeed in getting derrek free.
The chains shatter, and Derrek lands on the floor.
His soulblade were tied to his feet (a pretty normal way to make a soulblade unuseable without remving it from, and killing, the person it belongs to.), and he looks starved.

Geeron:
Apart from the corpses and some discarded mining equipment, Geeron notices a door that reads:
Mine Vault.
Towershield Emisarries and Executives only.

Geeron drew up all his strength and proceeded to kicking the door in.

 

[Dragonson]

Nothing at all happens.

Mourg untied the soulblade from the orc's feet, an impressive scythe. Handing it to the other orc and helping him up, Mourg said, "Mourg of Auchin'zul. Who might you be, and why in the custody of shades?" Motioning to the dead body in the midle of the room, he put in, "They usually don't keep people around for conversation."

Taiion stood, ignoring the orc and staring at geeron. he walked over to the door next to him and tried to well up another blast of energy to blow the door in. (spell check)

OOC: vampire are very strong, and Out of Curiousity, am i still flaming and all?

IC: Darek stands up and takes the scythe from Mourg "My new is Darek Mor’khan brother. I do not know why i was captured. but as I am free now, might i persume you killed the beast?"

OOC: vamps are intelligent, and extremly strong, some have wings, some do not. they are mentally weak n the way that they are easy to succumb to their desires, but vampires are VERY strong. vampires are highly sensitive, and fast. also elves are strong fast and smart, and taiion is half elf.

"Well, you look like you havn't eaten for a few days. The only way out is ahead, so let's keep going," Mourg replied. Turning to the door the vampires were beating at, he looked for a doorknob.

OOC: Just one thing:
A normal human mage gets MINUS to strength checks.
Orcs are naturally abit strong, so they don't.
So are vampires, so they don't.
If you weren't a vampire Flat, you would get a minus.

Now let's see if my time lasts to do the rest of the replies...

IC: Darek sheets his scythe on his back and walks towards the door. he then gently brushes his fingers against it to feel for anything that could help getting it open, a lock, a doornob, anything... (search check to)

Geeron pulled on the handle as hard as he could.

OOC: Well if Taiion doesn't get strength bonuses cause he's a mage, shouldn't i get agillity/ strength bonuses cause i am a rogue/fighter?
Maybe IF i do get a bonus, there could be a downside like being easily provoked to attack and miss or something.

OOC: well mato2, you might actually. Do you want agility or strength bonus? You won't get both.

IC: The door opens nicely.
Behind it, Geeron is met by something that can only be described with one word: TREASURE!

Sighing at the complete stupidity of everyone trying to force the door open, Mourg moved to get the handle, but Geeron noticed it and moved to pull it instaed. The door swung open to reveal a room full of gold, gems and other riches. Mourg was instantly suspicous of traps, and picked up a small rock. Throwing it through the door, he looked for any response, magical or otherwise.

 

[SoLmaster]

"Don't enter. Traps aren't made to kill, you know. Do any of you know a disillusionment spell by any chance. The gold might be the trap itself." Huntico kept looking around the room near the door way.

"I don't know no spells" muttered Brandon, "But we can always just throw a rock or something in there to see what happens..."

the rock hit the gold. Nothing happened.

IC: Darek takes his scythe from his back and starts to push the tiles on the ground randomly.

OOC: it's obvious people don't have movement sensors yet peeps :/

Well, spells can be set up to do anything, such as explode when something enters a region. You never know.
