IC: Darek sniff "that hunter had it coming for him... selfish idiot." he then turns back to murdmip "Hey little one, where is the arena located? and could anyone lend me some chaos ore? I'm going to look or a little pet."

OOC: the arena is where you said some good creatures might be sold right dragonson?

"Arena....arena..." he muttered, scratching his head to remember if such place existed. "Invalid location you asked there,Murdmip doesn't know or doesn't remember if such place exists..." he replied with a sad, kind of hypocritical tone. He thought that the arenas was a place for barbarians.

OOC:
I gave Derek a handful in the alternate timeline where Mourg claimed an egg instead of a drake, but that will be fixed shortly.

"Well, I'm sure that someone knows where this arena is," Mourg told Derek. "I'll lend you a bit of ore once we get there." Mourg placed his drake on the ground, then walked a few steps.
"Let's see if you can keep up with me," he told it.

OOC:
I'm guessing the drakes are about the size of a cat right now?

OOC: Smaller. Baby drakes are REALLY small.
They grow fast though.
After a little time they go POOF! And you got a horse-sized riding-drake.

IC:
Mourg soon realised that the little drake couldn't fly yet, and it's attempts at walking made it look so tiny that mourg just HAD to pick it up when it started to make little whelping noises in desperation. (Will save if you don't want to.)

Mourg picked up the little drake again. Now that he knew it couldn't walk, he would be sure to keep it close.
Mourg was, he suddenly noticed, hungry, so he entered the nearby tavern, purchasing a decent meal with a small amount of Ore. After eating it and giving the drake the end of a bacon strip, Mourg asked the barkeep for directions to the Arena.

"That would be a scuffle between some of my party members," Mourg told the barkeep. "I don't think it will end well, but I doubt anyone else will get hurt."
Thanking the barkeep, picking up his drake and walking outside, Mourg told Derek and Murdmip of the barkeep's directions.
"We just head north, and keep an eye out for a lot of gnolls," he told them. "It has it's own district, so it can't be hard to miss."

"Gnolls don't seem much of an error!" he exclaimed with pride , "There is nothing that we gnomes are afraid of!" he shouted and charged toward north, his left hand clenching firmly his soulblade.

OOC:
Right, but I don't think that Mourg managed to get that across properly.

"Wait a minute!" Mourg called out to the charging Gnome. Mourg caught up with him and placed a hand on the Gnomes shoulder.
"We're looking for the Gnoll district, so we can find the arena from there," he said. "We're not going there to kill Gnolls."

My character has to pay the consequences

Murdmip was stopped by the orc's sheer brutal force "It seems like Murdmip misunderstood what you meant" he said and laughed with his low-pitched voice.

The gnoll looked confused.
Then pointed northwards.
It did though look quite scared of the ore, and refused to take it.

MEANWHILE...

While walking towards the Gnoll Parks, Mourg suddenly started getting a strange headache.
The spellbook in his bag started shaking, or rumbling, more precisely.
Like it wanted to make him aware of something.

Murdmip noticed Mourg's bag shaking violently, a deep, long and rolling sound coming from it. "Something truly strange you hold there !" said the gnome, looking at the spellbook.

OOC: A full set of armor made of 10% chaos vein can resist a cannonball flying towards it with 100KM's an hour with only a scratch. And possibly without.
It's just expensive as hell to make.

IC: Next to the first page, that used to be the only non-blank one, a new spell had appeared.
Like the first one, it jumped into Mourg mind without him having to read it.
He felt a strange, cold rush of blood go through his body, then a sharp pain.
He screamed, and it felt like his eyes burned.
Murdnip watched in horror as Mourg's left hand slowly warped into a green claw.
Mourg then fell on the ground, exhausted.
Around them people were staring, and suddenly a deep bellowing voice said
"Get out of my way! Let me get to him!"
and the out of the mass of people came a cloaked man with a dragon skull on his head.
He kneeled beside Mourg, muttered a spell and then looked at Murdnip.
"You, gnome. Do you know this orc?"

"Of course I do!" answered the gnome, a bit terrified to see Mourg's left hand warped into a green claw.He considered the magic as a quite powerful one to dispel.

The man gave Mourg a concerned look.
"This is serious..."
He looked at the book lying next to Mourg.
"Orc, can you hear me?"

EDIT:
Oh, that armor.
Well it's pretty good. And since it's made out of semi-living material so it has high magical properties.
= It's easily enchanted, and has a + to spell checks.

The cloaked man dragged Mourg to his feet.
"Hmm, you'l have to come with me to the Great Temple."
He looked around at the rest of the team.
"The rest of you can follow if you wish."
He then begun walking towards the great temple at the center of the city, dragging Mourg with him.

OOC: If SoL doesn't post soon, i'l just let him take the hit Mato2.

Murdmip started following the cloaked man, looking him suspiciously and holding his sword firmly if he dared to do any sudden action.

OOC

With the drake clinging to Mourg's shoulder, and atleast Murdnip right behind (if your charecter followed and you're just abit late with posting it, don't mind that. We can just pretend he were there all along.) they arrived at the Great temple.
At the temple entrance a man with a similiar Skull on his head, but in a green cloak, greeted the man dragging Mourg.
"What's the matter Holo?"
The cloaked man dragging mourg, apparently called Holo, answered
"No time now, Scar, I have to bring this orc to the safety ward before his hand there opens a rift."
The man in the green cloak, apparently called Scar, gave the hand a glance and moved out of the way.

"It's just a claw," Mourg protested. He honestly had no idea what was happening, although the men with skull helmets did.

OOC:
I'm just about to take a very serious history test, so don't expect me back for around an hour. Assume Mourg is just holding on until it is actually necessary for him to respond.

Holo dragged Mourg through a runed doorway and put him in a chair made of a blue-ish wood.
He mumbled another spell, then look directly into Mourg's eyes.
Mourg could see the man's face now.
His eyes were shining with a teal light, and tatoo's glowing with the same color were placed around them.
"Do you have ANY idea of what just happened to your hand, and what kind of book it is you've brought into this city?" he said with a suprisingly calm voice.

OOC: The rest of you can follow Mourg and Holo if you like.

"Well, I have no idea what just happened there; the last spell I puzzled out said something about blood soup," Mourg said, unnerved by the man's fearsome appearance and his calm tone, despite the words he was saying. "I didn't imagine the book was full of children's recipes, though; the spell I got from it lets me weave clothes out of living creatures." He held up his glove to demonstrate. "Honestly, though, I have no idea what's happening. I'm going to hazard a guess that it's something to do with he Chaotic Plane, as that has been cropping up plenty in my life recently." Mourg flexed his new hand, trying to see if it was still his.

The hand moved on mourgs command. It was fully under his control.
Holo sighed.
He muttered a silent spell.
"You're correct. The book has triggered a transformation spell from the chaotic planes.
A quite magnificant one i must say, but also a quite serious one.
"
He sat down.
"You better be carefull with that book.
That claw, can be both a curse and a blessing. I'm sure it will help you cast spells, but it will surely result in trouble too.
"
The man scratched the back of his head.
"Well, i'm afraid i'l have to keep you here in the temple for a while.
You can't just go around with that claw without knowing just abit about how to control it.
"
He sighed again.

Murdmip looked the orc with more interest than before, his eyes shining before this transformation. He knelt and examined the claw more carefully with his goggles, by adjusting them and increasing their zoom, like he called it.
