Last Man Standing (Co-op)

Starcraft Style Co-op map​

Designed for 1 or 2 players. Each match should take approximately 40 minutes.

Random Objectives​

In each game, a random main objective is chosen that players must accomplish.
  • Light's Hope
    • Defend a Silver Hand settlement as they prepare to evacuate.
  • Relic Hunters
    • Recover Brann Bronzebeards stolen artifacts before time runs out.
  • Tower Heist
    • Capture 4 towers around the map before the enemy.

Bonus Objectives​

In each game, a random bonus objective is chosen partway through the game that players may accomplish for powerful items or allies.
  • Here be Dragons
    • Slay a specific Dragon.
  • Scarlet Outpost
    • Destroy a Scarlet Crusade outpost.

Random Enemies​

In each game, a random enemy is chosen that players must combat.
  • Humans
  • Orcs
  • Night Elves

Random Attack Patterns​

In each game, the enemy will focus their forces around a specific strategy.
  • Standard
    • The enemy's army will be a balanced force.
  • Air Heavy
    • There will be a greater emphasis on air units.
  • Mass Fodder
    • The army will consist largely of numerous cheap units.

Choose from a selection of heroes who have more specialized troop selections, to achieve your objectives.

A small bug with grom; cant train warlocks because it requires a great hall, and the peons dont count for orc burrows

Snarlmane's icon looks like a green square. It might not have been properly added. Check some things about icons:
Button Manager v1.8.2
Granary also has no icon. Same with Warehouse and Murloc Shack.

The model of Snarlmane is invisible.
The gnoll faction is bare. It could use some custom upgrades for the units and such. Also, more unit variety.
You could learn about making techtrees:

Does the enemy attack? It looks like they just stand in their base. They do but they don't train. Units appear out of nowhere. You should try making a proper AI:

Intended for the Mal'Ganis altar to be able to summon other heroes? Same with Kel'thuzad and mostly all others.

The concept is nice but it should be improved. The terrain is used as a template, so there's not that much originality right now except for the random quests and enemies.

ADDITIONAL NECESSARY INFORMATION
  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.
