Capture the Flag 0.4.0 (alpha)

Capture the Flag (Placeholder name)

(THIS MAP IS A WORK IN PROGRESS)

A new map in development where you face off in a 3v3 arena, fighting for control over the flags.
You vote for cap amount, time limit and finally select one among multiple 100% custom made heroes.



In this map, max level is 5.
You gain no XP from fighting, all XP is gained at a set interval.
You've got 4 skillpoinst and 4 skills.
3 normal skills and 1 ultimate, which is a passive skill that completes the hero.
Almost all skills scale with level, getting stronger the higher level you are.
You've got 1 item slot. Can be used to either carry the enemy flag or carry a consumeable.
Items spawn periodically on set places on the map.
First team to capture the voted upon amount of flags win.
If a tie occurs, sudden death mode activates.




Feel free to play it as much as u like and leave feedback, either in the discord (which is under construction and emtpy at the time of uploading) linked in the map.

It's OK. Needs some more gameplay mechanics, modes. Could even make use of doodads/destructibles and stuff to randomize the paths so the arena won't always be the same. Could add glow to heroes: How to add Hero Glow without Modeling Approved.

Please make sure you upload at least close to finished maps (late betas) and use Map Development for work in progress until then.

A credits list in the map description with the names of the authors whose resources you've used is mandatory. That includes models, skins, icons, custom spells, systems. Also, sounds, music and everything outside this site.

ADDITIONAL NECESSARY INFORMATION
  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.

I didn't realize I was so far off the mark lol.
Should I remove this map and reupload it correctly under "Map Development" or has that already been handled by you?

I believe you meant to approve a different map. I've yet to upload any updates to this map. I'm working on updates and improving the map a lot, but judging from your initial comment there's still a lot lacking, especially since there's no uploaded update yet :D
