negative rep me, I don't care.
That won't be necessary, most people feel the same.

Instead, you will get no rep. That won't be necessary, most people feels the same.
I am gonna positive rep you for that because you are protesting against an unethical company which fires over 800 employees and promises us a remastered game but gave us a mess with ugly graphics and charged $30 for that.I halted until now to comment anything on Reforged, negative related. But HAVING to download THE GAME which I DON't even OWN... WHAT THE FUCK! WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK BLIZZARD?!
negative rep me, I don't care. Having said that was fucking worth it. FUCK YOU Blizzard. I was going to actually buy the game, but having it forced this way? fuck off.

Oh my god. I just read that the main and absolute feature why I even bother to play wc3, are custom made campaigns, and they are locked out? Double fuck u.
Why would Blizzard care whether or not THW is up or down?@Ralle bro, please SHUT DOWN THW for 24h with a message that we're boycotting Blizzfuck. This is unacceptable. I feel so enraged. I play war3 since 7 fucking years old. this is NOT acceptable.
Yeah, that way, maybe I'll actually study something, lol.@Ralle bro, please SHUT DOWN THW for 24h with a message that we're boycotting Blizzfuck. This is unacceptable. I feel so enraged. I play war3 since 7 fucking years old. this is NOT acceptable.
Agreed. I tried to stay positive about Reforged all this time, siding, and being supportive for blizz. But it's just impossible to stay that way at this point. I can't deny I'm a big fan of the graphical improvement, but after some reading around, it appears to me that they are at the motion of tearing the community apart, the community that unconditionally kept the game alive, all for cash grabbing. Never for one bit I thought about this in my entire life since I loved everything about blizz but, this is disgusting.I halted until now to comment anything on Reforged, negative related.
Classic version is gone forever. You have to download whole reforged client to play now. (Great work blizz)So how do I start Classic now? I don't have Reforged, and when I try to play through Battle.net it just says error! I can't even play classic xD
The wierdest thing is that I can start the editor, and open any Reforged maps, even the three redone Campaign maps with all Reforged assets, and the editor works just fine, apart from the fact that I can't start the acctual game.
Yeah, yeah I did that already, and it won't start, it only says an error occured(can't even play in SD). Could it be my Computer?Classic version is gone forever. You have to download whole reforged client to play now. (Great work blizz)
Question to people who have this mess - is it just me or the further you go into campaigns, the more similar to the original it becomes? I'm asking, because I'm finishing the undead campaign and damn - while there were indeed some new animations, camera angles and pretty nice cutscenes especially in the human campaign, I'm not really noticing a lot of "reforging" in the undead one. That is, of course, besides the remade Silvermoon mission.

I'm from the Third World Country. .
Not for meYou have to start it from battle.net app. Works for me.
How do you do that? You have to redeem your cd key to your battle.net acccount.

I already spoke about this in my initial impressions shortly after launch - I found normal difficulty in Classic very enjoyable for my skill level, so I've started with that in Reforged and... I had to switch to hard, because it was just too easy. Now, I'm enjoying hard right now, though there are moments where even I feel that it's too easy.I'm noticing the its SIGNIFICANTLY EASIER
Yeah you know why that is? Because the new testers are bad at this game. The more often you test your missions and modify things the easier it will be for you so naturally you as developer increase the difficulty.I'm noticing the its SIGNIFICANTLY EASIER or they just flat out remove enemies or shower you with additional resources or extra workers.
no one asked for this.
I laughed then I cried... Rest in piece wc3.Just to have some laughs - the reforged version of Arthas vs Illidan is totaly ridiculous:
I clicked Play with a thought "Come on, it cannot be worse than absurd childish crap that was in TFT".Just to have some laughs - the reforged version of Arthas vs Illidan is totaly ridiculous:
So protecting maps is no longer legal I see...
(If I understand it correctly)

But you get a new quest!!! The only new quest in the whole gameOh my god... they nerfed the Siege of Dalaran mission so damn hard that it's unreal.
- There's no enemy bases, only small pockets of resistance within the city.
- The force field is so small that once you enter it, you're already fighting the Archmage.
- You get a healing rune after each major engagement.
- You get a lot of really strong creeps as help.
- Enemy attacks are laughable.
I don't want to restart, but I think it's totally possible to beat this mission without not only losing a single unit, but also without even making any units or upgrades.
- That is aimed at blacklisting users. And here comes the final beating showing that blizzard should have just let wc3 alone.
Happy that preorder cucks got what they deserve, but that's about it.
Wowie.
I'm pretty sure that's more aimed towards "DLC" in maps where you can buy "activators" to unlock certain heroes which you normally can't pick e.g which is prominent in asian/russian maps.
How about no? It's been around 2 years since they started working on this graphics pack. How about giving them a week before hopping on the hate train.
Ah man, the banana I bought had no banana inside.expecting a bugless experience on launch day is delusional.

There are plenty of reasons to hate this patch though. For me personally, the most important one is that with this new bloated reforged client, my RAM usage when simply going to the main menu screen is already over 3GB, and I only have 4GB on my laptop. The only way to 'fix' this is to give us back the TFT client. They will not do this, so why would I wait one week to start hating.Yikes. People really love to hate, huh?
Blizzard has been slow with fixing their shit in terms of classic wc3 patches, wont deny that. But if I purely judge reforged:
In terms of game releases there are almost no bugless games on launch day. How about giving them a week before hopping on the hate train.
I am not the most hopeful that everything will be fixed in a week, but expecting a bugless experience on launch day is delusional.
It is since they had more than the basis to work upon. All games takes years to make and all of them have some amount of bugs.
This is nothing unique to reforged.
No excuse.Hell, WoW had dozens of issues on their patch last week. Was fixed within the day.
That's not gamebreaking.edit: non blizzard example, check out the bugs in Witcher 3 on launch. There are a lot of hilarious footage floating around on youtube. Infamously the horse AI was pretty broken and ran up on top of houses and stuff. And that game won many awards.
are you sure you remember how it looked like on the game engine? I have no issues with that video, except for logical issues. overall it's an improvement.Just to have some laughs - the reforged version of Arthas vs Illidan is totaly ridiculous:
If your main play mode was removed upon release of the patch without notification you would not be saying this.Yikes. People really love to hate, huh?

Working with legacy code is worse than doing it from scratch, ask any programmer. They will agree. It is since they had more than the basis to work upon.
Having a PTR does not magically remove issues. Nor does it detect all of them.No excuse.
I understand there might be some bugs and stuff but that's why PTR exist before release.
With Reforged, they've had loads of feedback.
People complain about lightning (among maaaany other nitpicks), most of which are far from gamebreaking. That's not gamebreaking.
