I thought it is already known that unit portraits do not work with classic graphics anymore since 2.0.
Look at this:

Before the 2.0 patch it had the correct portrait model as far as I remember (long time ...

).
Now it shows the standard Human building.
The same for
Black Dragon Buildings etc.
Maybe it can be fixed by adding separate _Portrait files, I am not sure.
My graphics settings are purely Classic.
The bug also exists with mixed settings and btw. the lighting by Waygates etc. is far too bright:
