I think a lot of people, including myself, are grateful for all the issues that have been fixed in this latest patch (2.0.1), and I think with just a limited number of changes, Wc3 will be in a good state, even if Blizzard doesn't make any more changes.

Below is a list though of some bugs which, if fixed, would make a huge difference to people who play Custom campaigns: (Pictures taken from War3 v2.0.1):

1)
Currently, if you go into "Custom campaigns" (so you are on the list showing all custom campaigns, but not inside a specific custom campaign), and then you click "back", it will automatically set your graphics to reforged if you had them on classic previously. If you exit the game without clicking "back", then it won't happen. It only happens when you click "back" from the custom campaign menu.

2)
In the custom campaign menu list (so you are on the list showing all custom campaigns, but not inside a specific custom campaign), for the words inside the "difficulty" line, the colouring system doesn't work, it just shows the entire colour code wrapped around the word(s) itself.

3)
In a specific custom campaign mission page (so you are in the menu of a specific custom campaign, not the general page), for the words inside the "Name" line, the colouring system doesn't work, it just shows the entire colour code wrapped around the word(s) itself.

4)
In a specific custom campaign mission page (so you are in the menu of a specific custom campaign, not the general page), sometimes when you enter it, it doesn't show the background picture or play custom music if it has them. It just shows a black page + no music. I cannot find the reason why it happens, but sometimes it happens when I am going between different custom campaigns.

5)
When playing custom campaigns, if you load a save file, it will make some models invisible (only can see their shadow, as seen below with some of the trolls), while other units keep their models but their portrait becomes black (as seen below with the human barracks building). The two pictures show before loading, and after loading.

6)
Two other main issues:

A) Some custom units, instead of showing their custom model portrait, instead show the portrait of the model they are based on (maybe it could be changed so the default setting for this new line the object editor (unit portraits) becomes "none", so people do not need to go back and remove the paths of every unit which is being affected by this portrait bug).

B) There is an issue with music looping or something. In lots of custom campaigns, there should be custom music but it does not play. I am not sure why this is happening, but it is very noticeable since it often plays standard wc3 music instead of custom music.

Icon borders are better in a sense now, but 95% of the details are still crappy.
This is especially noticeable in icons that were originally screenshots of their 3D models (e.g. Ballista, Glaive Thrower, Felguard). They look like a 8x resize of their original 64x64 icons but using the "Oil Painting" filter from Photoshop.
Icons that were produced from one template (e.g. Key of the Three Moons, Partial Key of the Three Moons, Moon Key) do not look uniform because the AI batch rescaler has rescaled each icon independently.

Don't wanna jinx it, but it seems that the R2S issue has also been fixed on this patch!
Real => string has been fixed. There appears to be a small group of people dedicated to fixing Wc3 at Blizzard now, since there have been a large number of updates pushed recently (not just to cover up the leaked files), and the updates they have been putting out have fixed issues that have been reported on the Blizzard bug forum. So, if there have been bugs plaguing wc3 for the last few years, people should definitely report them on the blizzard forums, since there is a good chance they will be fixed if reported.
