Amnora's eyes met her target. She was the predator and it was the prey.

Her eyes were still without pupils. Another two lances formed within both hands. Within seconds, the two icy weapons were cruising towards the last wolf. She could probably end this battle but it would not be her last on this plane.

Mex sheets his blade and turns around and faces the group "anyone else got the feeling someone wants us out of here?"

The radiant blue that her soulblade emitted dimmed dramatically as the wolf dissolved into the abyss. Her pupils returned, and the frost that had gathered around her melted within seconds. She was cold, colder than usual. She did not understand, as she had done much worse with such potent magic in her life. Was it her? Was there something sucking the life from her? Or was it simply the Sixth Plane? Such questions demanded answers, and she intended on finding out.

"A person that wants us gone would not be so reckless. No... I believe we may be dealing with someone or... thing with greater motives." She responded, coming closer to the rest of the scattered group. She approached Ashen with an outstretched, gloved hand. "Stand, child. This place looks worse when down and enfeebled."

@Dragonson, It seems you've made a little generous mistake: My Dexterity should be 6, not 9.
Str: 1 (start) +2 (reward) = 3
Wil: 4 (start) +1 (reward) = 5
Dex: 2 (start) +3 (Rogue) +1 (reward) = 6
Cun: 3 (start) +2 (Rogue) = 5

Avi impaled a pear and an apple on her dagger. In every sense, she'd gained greater respect for this plane: For bringing mysteries and anger to them, and for bestowing these bladed weapons upon them, with one of which she'd just made her first double kill. That was, she thought, if any of it were real at all... But she had her own feelings, which she chose to trust for now.
She pulled out the blade and dropped the pair of fruits on the cobblestone, before wiping it and noticing that the blade had lost some of its reflection.
Then she looked at Amnora questioningly: "You believe, we're sticking our noses into something that isn't our business?" she muttered.

Amnora gazed at Avi for a brief moment before responding. "I believe that we've been thrown into this abyss to meddle in affairs that not even we can comprehend. There is something great happening beyond all of this."

''No shit.'' he mumbled in sarcasm as he looked at his soulblade, surprised that it hadn't been stained by blood or.. well, anything. It was simply normal, however, the glow seemed a bit stronger. He didn't know why.. ''So, basically, we're in a plane that has creatures in it that want to kill us with no clear objective? Well, isn't that just great.'' was Llyw's futher reaction. He once more sheated his soulblade and looked around for any other possible enemies. Llyw raised his head to the sky and sighed, closing his eyes to realize what happened. Once more, he opened them and looked at the others..

Amnora was quick to snap back at Llyw like a viper. She had never appreciated sarcasm. Though, her response did not come in the form of words, but a stare. Her face, while glaring at him, was emotionless, but her eyes said a lot more.

Her eyes left his and she sighed, gazing into the horizon. "Do you all feel that?" She asked, as her body shuddered. Her senses tingled as something otherworldly, even more so than this plane, almost reached out to her. "It is a familiar feeling. Ever since I arrived here, I've felt it, but now it is stronger."

OOC: Exellent post ala, but the wolves actually are dead. ;)
And they dissolve when they die, so you cant really run past one of their corpses.
But it was a good post you made, so i shall let it pass and pretend that ashen got ambushed by a wolf, since i were going to throw some kind of entity creature at him anyway.

Oh and, people only get encounter bonuses from relatively big battles.
Just so it's noted. ;)

IC:
The Wolf jumps towards the girl, and lunges at her with full strength.
DM: Dodge: Roll (1d6 +2 from Dexterity): 6. (8)
Rolling Crit Chart: 3. Good Stuff!
But the girl, following a sudden instinct, rolls under the wolf, grabs it's back legs and throws it into a nearby wall.
It dissolves instantly.

DM: Crit Bonus: +2 Dexterity for Calliope.

OOC: Oh, lol, silly me xD
Sorry about that one...

IC:
Seeing the wolf dissolve, the girl looked back and came closer to the little boy who was scared to death and to her fear seemingly not from the wolf, but from her. She sighed. Through her whole life she was feared and hated for her looks. She put her usual tired smile, one that always has sorrow in it and came closer to the boy.
"Hwello leetle boy. Wahts your naihm?"

OOC:
By the way, I warn you for future, your characters should hate her weird accent(naturally) as well as her strange looks and her being a halfbreed. So basically Ashen could start with saying "I hate your voice" and it would be all right. But Im sure he will pick something else.

Calliope smiled and took her flute from her waist. She put it on her lips and played a few melodies she always liked. They reminded her of home. They helped to relax and get together.
"Wellh hyuu better go. Hy think Hy saw your group leavhe."

Calliope watched they boy run to his friends and smiled with her usual sorrow. Then she noticed a set of stairs and climbed on the nearest building to continue observing the group and follow them. Perhaps she made a new friend... one of very few.

As Calliope climed the stairs and found herself a new observation spot, she suddenly froze.
Someone put a hand on her left shoulder, and said with an icy voice "Trust me, you will be better off joining them than spying on them.
You do not want the entity to find you alone.
"
Then it was gone, and Calliope could move again.

Calliope slowly turned around, trying to see whomever talked to her but saw only grey air. The voice reminded her of somebody from her past... yet it was so different.
She looked down at the waving grey sea of ethereal people, amongst whom the group could be easily seen as well as Ashen who was clearly lost. Her different eyes glanced around her and finally she sighed. Whomever warned her, be he friend or enemy, was right. This time hiding and faring alone was foolishness.
Calliope needed to join a group, but she had no intention of joining the humans. The boy, Ashen, on the other hand prooved to be nice and tolerant of her. Easily seeing him in the crowd she quickly left the roof, still feeling like somebody's cold gaze is on her.

Meyla stumbled blindly, a black haze obscuring her vision.
As she meandered forward her vision slowly warped back into focus. A blurry structure of black and white blocks came into view on a single plane, like a painted canvas it hung upon the horizon, holding her gaze like a true masterpiece.
Instinctively she continued towards it, unsteady on her feet and squinting in a vain attempt to sharpen her view. After what seemed like an age, to her astonishment the canvas began to flow, flap and unfold - engulfing the black plane, surrounding her.
As it continued to wrap itself around all she could see, it became sharper, clearer. Detail became apparent, shading suddenly present. Before long colour and depth was all around her, dark silhouettes faded in, representing the crowd of this otherworldly city and to her horror. They began to move, talk and interact with the magical piece. Simultaneously the canvas seemed to draw closer, all four sides being drawn in - the images and people becoming vivid, more life-like until... it was like a dream. Meyla gasped as she was thrust into the canvas, beyond the parting of the the planes - chased by a black, twirling shadow.

Despite years of martial training and tuning to magic, Meyla was still too slow. She screamed in pain as the ray lanced into her left pauldron, causing her to lose grip on her half-drawn soulblade as she spiralled into the air, loose auburn air flailing wildly. After several dozen feet of flight, Meyla managed to spread her jaded wings and reduce the rate of acceleration, she banked sharply for the floor chest first and collided with a turbulent clash as metal struck stone. After several more feet of friction induced pain she lay still, moaning. "So strong..." the Faerie gasped in awe.

Amnora sighed as she noticed a female figure crash into the street. She noticed the same aura surrounded her, just as it surrounded the others around her, and looked between her and the source of power in the Elven District. Tactically, separation would prove to be a dividend, especially in this alien world.

"She, or it, is like us..."

With that, she began the pace to this new addition to the world, hoping the others would not get lost in the swarming crowds.

Calliope was walking through the crowd when suddenly she suddenly saw a shadow in the air. She then was horrified when it spread its wings and landed somewhere in the crowd. Whatever it wasnt good. At least for Calliope.
She then turned around, watching the gray people, with empty eyes surrounding her. The boy was somewhere around here... suddenly she heard his terrified scream and ran towards the sound of it.

OOC: Yah, nah, my mood is approximately :)ag::ab::asad::am: - seasoned with petty "stress")
I've had different stuff to do in the latest time. Almost every wednesday I will have about 1% time to roleplay, and I also have to do homework for that wednesday's 6 hours straight math class. But the rest of the time, I'm unfortunately a little unpredictable.
I actually haven't done so much in the weekends and such, but I just happened to experience this thread having some of the largest bursts of activity when I was either asleep or AFK for just a little while. Bad luck, I figure.
I while try to post more. Right now it seems we're separated again, but not left without things to do, so...

IC:
Avi flipped a coin. She decided to go the way Ashen had run, and look for him. She just hoped he had changed his mind about running away.

''Oh, for the love of..'' he mumbled, cursing and sighing in annoyance. What the hell was the matter with these people? Running away at every simple happening.. gragh. Mhm, he was cursed with this, he believed. Llyw shrugged and once more sighed, this time simply following Amnora.. ah well, she seemed a bit normal. Nonetheless, he wondered if he would find out later.

Meyla was slow to recover, it'd been too long since she'd taken a blow like that.
Groggily she pulled herself to her feet and half fell, half stumbled to retrieve her soulblade.
Though small, her petite frame allowed her to avoid the coalescing crowd. Of the boy, she saw no sign.

Now ashen was lost.

He saw the disturbance through the crowd, and knew he would have to do somthing to it, but he somehow felt like.. there was a fog in his mind, he couldent quite... he forgot what he was going to... he coulden't think... He just stood there, and after a short while, there was a clearing in the crowd, and he could see the thing... but he couldent...
