Amnora stood up and looked at the men of the group. "Well," she paused, glaring at them, "get to it." She paced herself backwards to where Meyla stood and smiled. She loved playing slavemaster.

Ashen tried to suck the spear out with magic.

before doig so he turned to Amnora: "Watch your toung." he spat, his dark eyes firey and alight.

 

[Fussiler1]

''Hmm.. seeing as you appearantly adressed the men to work.. what are you still doing? It's time to work.'' he said against her in a great smile, his face cool and his eyes not speaking anything. ''I mean, wouldn't it be a tad hypocritical?'' he finally finished it, exacting his vengeance on her.

 

[Dragonson]

DM: Spell Check: Roll (1d6 +7 from Will): 5. (12)
Slowly, the spear started moving out of the Minotaur's hand.
But as soon as it left the preassure plate the whole room suddenly started shaking.

 

[Grey Nightmare]

Meyla hissed as she half jumped, half fell into the air. ''Enough bickering, were in this together, like or not'' she spared not one of the three a glance but instead began panning her eyes around the room. Looking for something... Anything.

 

[Dragonson]

OOC: I'm assuming that everyone's inside now.

IC:
Suddenly, a strange substance looking like the one that had drooled from the wolve's mouths begun forming on the floor.
And the door to the room closed.

 

[The World Is Flat]

Ashen Yelped, his personality changing in a moment's notice. "wha... w-what do we do? Were all going to die!" His demon screamed in his ear, telling him not to look weak, the beast inside of him growled approvinly, the shadow flitting across his heart... the room was bathed in the fear he felt...

 

[Grey Nightmare]

Meyla didn't wait, she brought her palms together and unleashed a bolt of raw magic at the new arrival.

OOC: note this is her innate/will magic, not the entity bolt.

 

[Phoonix]

Mex looked around as the strange substance started covering the ground. "wha... what is this?"

OOC: lol I assume that touching this substance isn't healthy?

 

[Fussiler1]

Llyw suddenly started panicking, but he merely closed his eyes and took a very deep breath, opening them again. As if everything was slowing down, it felt to him.. and suddenly, he simply sprinted forward and tried to slash the substance with his sword. He didn't take time to look, but he was pretty sure that it was glowing. Of course, he could be wrong.

 

[Dragonson]

Those that had launched attacks at the appearing substance suddenly froze mid-air, and then found themselves in the positions they were before.
A strange voice then flowed through the air.
'Oy! No cheating! Let me get up on me' legs first!'
Before them, the substance shaped itself into what looked like a dwarf.
He was wearing chainmail, and holding a huge two-handed axe.
Once fully formed he looked like a normal dwarf, but there was a mad look on his face.
'You're trying to steal the grand prize just when i've won it, eh?
Harh! No one steals from Hurkin Blunderbolt! The entity is mine, MINE i tell ye!'
With that, he lifted his axe above his head and charged at the nearest member of the group, Llyw.

Ashen gave a yelp of terror and lept back from the dwarf-thing and llyw.

 

[Fussiler1]

His calmness seemed to make place for quick panick, but he manned himself up again as he raised his soulblade in a desperate attempt to block the attack of the creature.. agh, he had been such a fool to even get involved in this, sometimes he could curse himself like he was the biggest idiot alive. Nonetheless, he simply tried to block this feeling and focused, concentrating on the matter at hand.

''I will not be defeated by a DWARF!'' he roared.

Though, maybe it was time to use what he had gotten.. maybe, it indeed was. He focused one more time before the axe of the Dwarf would hit him, and tried to activate his powers.

 

[Dragonson]

OOC: Fuss, before i hit down on you hard with the axe of a crazed dwarf, here's a
RELUCANT DM TIP!
If you have the ability to active a force shield that protects you from melee attacks and there's a dwarf about to hit you with an axe and you choose to stay where you are and block it,
it might be an idea to activate said force shield.
'just saying.

Mex drew his soulblade and tries to cast Sphere of Supremacy, whoever this Dwarf was he was strong that was for sure.

Suddenly, what looked like an ethereal set of plate armour appeared on Llyw.
DM: Melee Attack: Roll (1d6 +5 from Strength): 5. (10)
Ignoring the newly appeared armour, the dwarf brought his axe hard...
DM: Defence Check: Roll (1d6 +3 from Dexterity and +6 from Symbiotic Defences): 4. (13)
...but Llyw just raised his right arm to meet the blow and the Dwarf's axe bounced off his armour.
The dwarf almost fell backwards, taken aback by the sudden resistance.
Then the mad look on his face returned.
'It's mine, MINE!' he roared, and begun moving towards Llyw again.

Mex roars as he unleashes the power of the entity.
Around him a green sphere appears, which grows and soon covers the entire room.

Llyw roared and decided not to waste time, and so he grabbed his sword more firm and charged forward, swinging it, hoping to hit the Dwarf before it would have any real defense against it, taking him in surprise. Maybe it would work.. he hoped so. Nonetheless, he tried to keep his shields intact.

immediately after casting the spell Mex charges at the dwarf trying to cut of it's head.

Meyla clenched and unclenched her fists into tight balls as she alighted next to Amnora, her face screwed up in frustration. "It would be immoral to interrupt the duel" she noted.
"But damn it.. argh!" Meyla pouted, she looked ready to snap, morals or no, one foot forward, wings spread. She was ready.

I'm going to make rolls for the symbiotic defences every 2nd time someone attacks you, btw.

Also, i'm waiting for a few more people to post before making the next rolls.
So that people dont get left behind too much, and so that i can get some more work on this RP's upcoming gameplay addition, which by the way will be called PlanesEdge Arena. >

Alright, making the rolls...

Llyw charged forward, swinging his sword at the dwarf, hitting him on the left shoulder.
The dwarf roars in pain and jumps to the side to avoid any further attacks, only to be intercepted by Mex...
DM: Melee Attack: Roll (1d6 +5 from Strength): 2. (7)
...who neatly lands a blow to the Dwarf's chest, cutting him in half.
The dwarf falls over, dead.
But then, he slowly begins re-forming. The purple subtance is putting him back together.
As this happens five purple crystals appear along the walls, all glowing in the same color as the strange substance.

 

[Phoonix]

OOC: did you add the bonus from the sphere drag?

IC: As soon as Mex sees the Dwarf reforming he once again tries to cut him in half.

 

[Dragonson]

OOC: Lol, did those rolls pretty fast. Forgot to add your sphere bonus.
Oh well, guess it's even more appropriate that you cut him in half.

IC:
As Mex tries to cut the dwarf again, he simply keeps re-forming.
No matter how many times Mex cuts him he is just pieced back together by the strange substance.

Zeyn, slow to react, pulls out his daggers, Yezan and Coparq and charges. Zeyn does not yet know what powers Yezan and Coparq contain and figure they're just cursed daggers, and he tries to strike the dwarf.

 

[Phoonix]

"Damnit... what is this. he just keeps reforming and reforming." he then noticed the five crystals and starts thinking while distancing himself from the target. eventually he reaches this conclusion "Destroy those crystals! they must be what keeps him to reform!" whit that he runs to the nearest crystal and tries to crush it.

 

[Grey Nightmare]

"Now those" Meyla nodded at the crystals.
"Don't count" she smiled weakly, jumping into a lifting swoop and unleashing several bolts of innate magic at the closest crystal.

 

[Dragonson]

As Zeyn slashes at the continuously-reforming dwarf, Meyla and Mex take the offensive against the crystals.
DM: Melee Attack: Roll (1d6 +5 from Strength and +25 from Sphere of Supremacy): 4. (34)
Mex roars and lashes out at the closest crystal, shattering it.
DM: Spell Check: Roll (1d6 +3 from Will and +2 from Force Projectile Upgrade): 4. (9)
DM: Spell Check: Roll (1d6 +3 from Will and +2 from Force Projectile Upgrade): 3. (8)
Meyla sends out two magical bolts at another one of the crystals, shattering it.

As the second crystal shatters, the dwarf fully reforms even with Zeyn cutting him.
The crystals disappear as the dwarf regains his physical form.
'Ye'l pay for this! I swear!' the dwarf roars and lashes out at Zeyn...
DM: Melee Attack: Roll (1d6 +5 from Strength and +10 from Rage): 4. (19)
DM: Dodge: Roll (1d6 +2 from Dexterity): 6. (8)
Rolling Cirt Chart: 5. Pwn!
But Zeyn dodges neatly and the dwarf shatters the minotaur statue with his axe.
DM: +3 Dexterity for Zeyn.

 

[Phoonix]

Mex immediately turns around and uses his Soulblades Air slash to try and take out another crystal.

OOC: Oops, i ninja-edited you Phoon.

OOC: She was using elf/farie magic as opposed to force projectile ^^ idk if that matters to the roll

IC: Meyla, wasn't wasting anytime, she drew her soulblade mid-dive and lashed out smartly, catching the third crystal with the nick of her blade.
"Only evening the odds.." she assured herself.

Zeyn keeps dodging and slashing the dwarf, With every hit the dwarf seems to get slower to move, he wonders why and keeps slashing at the dwarf. The weirdest thing was that the daggers were not bickering, they seemed to be completely silent, focusing on the fight.
Zeyn smiled and continued to slash the dwarf.

 

[Dragonson]

OOC: Eh, nope Phoon.
The crystals disappear when the dwarf regains physical form, so you guys are lashing at nothing. :S

IC:

Suddenly the dwarf manages to grab one of zeyn's daggers with a mailed fist.
The dwarf laughs maniacly, and sends Zeyn, now unable to defend himself properly, flying through the room with a well placed kick.
DM: Zeyn is Unconscious until a successfull Recovery Check is made.
A Recovery Check will be attempted whenever the DM posts In Charecter.

OOC: Oh No... Why me? Im now gonna have psychological problems and everything! Thanks alot dwarf now i'm all depressed =( XD
And lulz how can he even move XD i've slashed him like 29 times with my daggers.

Well, for one: You have not.
You can only perform one combat move per turn.
To slash someone 29 times with your daggers in one turn would require a dexterity of 100+.
You've hit him max 3 times, 'cause you're specialising in dexterity.

Gray can do two combat moves per turn, but that's 'cause he's got an ability called flurry.

Anyways guys, i'm going to get some sleep now.
I'm still ill, and not feeling too good at the moment.

Ashen scrambles away, then he turns to the dwarf, focusing all of his fear into a single jab of emotion, striking in the dwarf's direction.

Amnora smiled as the dwarf emerged from the ground quietly watched the amusement. The dwarf seemed so content on obtaining some sort of prize, and as she pondered on what it was, the dwarf managed to shatter the minotaur. She gazed at the spear and took it from the ground, gazing at it adoringly. She then focused on the dwarf - he would probably try to strike her now. Rulaan growled with magic and Amnora's eyes shimmered with the same frozen white as it once did in the battle with the wolves.

OOC: GLad you guys think the teaser is epic.
I'm still working on additional titles and badges. (Yes, those are titles.)
The ones you see in the teaser are just basic ones, that you get for having a lotta' wins.
And even though having Storm, Snowstorm or Hurricane is still an achievement, you will be seeing other titles that is harder to get. ^^
And about the numerals: I know.
I kinda have some extra info on the subject back from when i had latin in school.
I cant remember much of the actual languege, but i do remember a long debate about roman numbers.
You see, VIII and IIX are equally correct. According to my teacher certain numbers like that were under constant debate back when the romans were still a big empire.
It ended up being like a numeral accent, the correctness of these certain numbers depending on where you lived.
And actually i ended up using that specefic one 'cause i used my FAVOURITE FONT to do this: KratosTrueType (even though i dont play God of War.) is a great fantasy font, and it turns out that it's numbers from 1-9 are roman.
So all the numbers you see there are straight out of that font.

Llyw stumbled back and watched as most people attacked the Dwarf.. little ferocious fellow, in his opinion, also, rather strange that he suddenly re-emerged. Besides that, it had been nice to test out his gift, and it had indeed supplied a grave advantage in battle. Nonetheless, he would merely watch the fight for now..

Meyla muttered something unintelligble as she brushed past Llyw, readying her longsword in two hands, she rushed the dwarf with a flurry of attacks, she knew strength would get her nowhere, but speed, speed was her playing field.

Before the dwarf can hit Ashen, Meyla delivers two swift stikes that rips apart his broken chainmail.

I've been doing all Recovery checks and such as hidden rolls for some time, but i think i will start doing them as revealed from now on.

Pressing her initial advantage Meyla jumped back to avoid any potential counterattack, she then dropped one hand from her blade's hilt and unleashed a further blast of magic at the dwarf, hoping within such close proximity it would cause considerable damage.

Meyla sends forth another magical plast, hitting the dwarf in the spot where his chainmail was broken.
He dissolves once again, and the crystals re-appear.

Calliope who stayed behind during the combat suddenly felt the Entity's power being strong within her. She raised her soulblade and sent a ball of It's essence at the dwarf.

Calliope sends a sphere of teal and purple energy at the dwarf, spreading out the strange substance and hindering him even further from re-forming.
