hmm... i red about some Bloodelven siegeengines called firestarter.
in the end they are just giant mirrors and lences on wheels using sun rays to burn
down entire cities.... not usable during rain or night.

Has finished my mesh and rigged it up. The alternate uses crappy custom anims, but it only has one bone so they're not very exciting ...

Update: made the proportions better, added the beginning of the neck and did some body shape improvements

Damn, I should have posted here already, sorry. Count me in.
I come up with the tank I'm doing for this compi.

Remove some if not most of those dark green cubes floating everywhere. It makes the thing way too chaotic.

I'm maybe doing a tauren druid, if we don't have any of those in the download section. I figure even if it doesn't win it'll be useful.

Thats a much better entry then most of this "Robot-to-something"-models.
Dont get me wrong, but i think thats more creativity then a robot transforming
into some kind of tank/airplane/car.

i ment that i really like the competitions because
of the great variety and skills by many modelers...
But morphing robots is really much transformers and I
just would like to see morphing units, wich are something special
by themselves...
just think, that there would be endless "Transformer-arena-pew-pew-lasergun"-maps
around here when there are too much "Robot-transforming" things.

remember?

its just like my morphing tank, except mine is dwarven and his is blood elven.

both are based off of the Crucio and Arclite siege tanks form the starcraft and starcraft 2 series

:/ aside form the double post, it doesnt need to be graded on "usefullness" because that varies exponentially from person to person. Everything is useful and at the same time, no one will use EVERY model in their map

Nope' I'm making (no, I'm not doing him) a devil-morphing diabolist but I'm too far from results to show a WIP (I'm going to make him from scratch) and I fail at drawing.

I'm making an organic one aswell. First form is a Troll wich is pretty much finished (his legs will need some further polishing) and the alternate form (secret) is soon solid enough for me to begin rigging.

Mechanical man: Windows Media Player doesn't support AVI. But you can download VLC Media Player, which does support it. It's legally free ofcourse.
But my whole point with the uploading it on YouTube was to make it easier to watch quickly. Having to download something like this would just be more trouble then it should require.
