Filthy lies. Moving vertices around doesn't do anything but stretch or shrink the current UV wrap. All you have to do is some quick editing to the Wrap, which is not a pain in the ass at all.

Hmmz, well it fucked up everything the last time I did that. Maybe that's because I hadn't flattened the stack or something.

You probably edited the model when you still had the Unwrap UVW modifier active. That usually screws it up for me. I just reconvert the model to editable poly

Heehee. I drew this up as the concept, except the legs are different because I didn't actually look at a giraffe's leg structure before drawing it.

It's acceptable but unless you're really good at it you probably won't get that high of a score in judging.

I think geoset merging was in the past always at least -2 points in judging just for the mesh, ~-3 for the use of ingame anims & -1 for using ingame textures :>
and iI didn´t even mentioned how appealing the model is...........

actually, i am out. i thought about it the whole day and the grotesque concept is the only thing i came up with which was original. that turned out to be too hard to make.
no way i could make it in a month let alone 4 days. so i am not gonna try. maybe later on my own time.
