Mage Arena v1.42

About

  • PvP FFA arena
  • Pick up and combine orbs to create battle and protection spells
  • Random events on map
  • Arena can be chosen at star of the match

Gameplay

  • Non-stop FFA fights on mage arena
  • Pick up different magical orbs on arena
  • Two orbs can be combined into one skill
  • Each combination can upgrade skill up to 4 lvl
  • Use your arsenal wisely, balance between attack and defence
  • Visit shop to increase your mage potential
  • Combine, spell, kill, death and repeat

From Author

  • Map made with GUI in "before Reforged" old World Editor, then fixed few bugs in new editor. So there's could be some bugs, but critical are fixed
  • Map is opened to review in WE. You could easy watch how works this map. I will be happy to answer questions about this map and other map development tricks
  • Special thanks for all author of imported files. Sometimes ideas for maps comes from reviewing hiveworkshop library

ADDITIONAL NECESSARY INFORMATION
  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.

  • Bug, mana shield has weird values. Level 4 instantly depleted mana, because it absorbs 0 hp for 4 mana. Each level is worse than previous, 1 life per 2 mana, 1 life per 3 mana.
  • It would be nice to have some dodge spell for everyone, which makes characters invulnerable for 1 second, instead of just dark shield.
  • No spell descriptions in recipes.
  • A way to unlearn spells would be nice.
  • More spells.
  • Make max 6 spells, not 4.
  • Heal is useless lategame
  • Revive gets longer for some reason, it should stay the same.
  • Levelling up shouldn't increase damage, because it's unfair when one character has 100 dmg and other 70.
  • How about changing projectiles to physical ones, like in the Warlock map? For example Frost Bolt is auto targeting now. And add more spells like in warlock, for example meteor, scatter shot, etc.
  • Idea for new modes: Rounds mode, where respawn is only at the end of the round. Player who wins the round gains a point.
  • Predator mode, where one player (changing every round) has overpowered and different spells, similar to the map predator. 1 player vs all other players.
  • Disable autoattack mode, a switchable "Fireball" mode by host, where the default attack is disabled and a "A" hotkey spell fireball is added instead, so it is possible to avoid it. It would create more skill based gameplay.
