You know you are able to see your sent emails, right?
Haha, yeah, I know it's available to me! I just mean that sometimes when I'm facing a WC3 problem that's very specific, and I googled it, tutorials and GitHub code come up that give me a near-instant solution (even for obscure things like "open MPQ in Java" or "parse W3U file with code") The solutions aren't always good, but the fact that they're there counts for something.
Stuff that I PM people isn't there for the general public like it could be. Somebody's gonna want to make a warcraft mod in 2025, even if I'm dead or gone from the hive, and they shouldn't have to PM me and pray that I log in to have access to my knowledge (or former knowledge).
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
You're not the only person to ask. I was thinking maybe I should make a tutorial.
Would you like that? Recently I PM'ed a couple of people with some instructions and resources to help them do this, but if it's lost in the PMs then only one person has access to it.
I do not actually build DLLs on my own. Most of my work in Heaven's Fall and other places was made by taking the work of the Nirvana team and modifying it, swapping out file references to be a different set of names for a different mod, etc.
But I do know where and which names to swap to make things happen.
Edit: Speaking of which, that EoS mod page should have better credits. There's a couple of people like the Nirvana team who are well-credited through the official Heaven's Fall mod stuff, but the EoS stuff was hacked together fast and could use a few things like that. Apart from crediting Nirvana for the DLLs, I used one or two models based on others by Hayate I believe, so it wasn't fair to make it seem like I created all of them (although I created all the rest, like 99%).
Yes. Then instead of mentioning your name in the credits section, I'll mention it in the makers section. I still have 2 weeks of exams so you have a loooong time for a storyboard. That's of course if you'd agree to help me. Have you read my idea on the thread?
