Alien Shooter v1.42

General:

Aliens are swarming! Kill them all. Left-click your way through the aliens to fire your weapon. Win the game by destroying the alien broods. There are 4 levels. Each level gets even harder than the previous. Buy the suitable weapon to conserve funds. Choose wisely. Upgrade your life and energy shield to survive longer. The game supports up to 5 players. This map was inspired by a game with the same name.


Gameplay:

Left-Click on your target to attack them with your selected weapon. You begin with Gun, which has infinite ammo. Upgrade your weapon to stronger ones to kill stronger aliens. Remember to reload your ammo. Kill the broods on each level to proceed to the next.

You have 2 characters to choose from.

By default, HP and Energy regeneration is nil.

Complete the minigames and get rewarded! The rewards will be useful for the game.

Rescue the civilians! Prevent the aliens from infiltrating the premises.

A simple key and lock game.

Prevent the aliens from damaging the mainframe. Stop them at all cost!

Played your map and I must say it's quite an addicting game, playing it till now. The terrain looks fine but still you could add something more in it. Seeing that most objects can be interacted, you could try making some heavy objects that when destroyed causes some disadvantages such as destroying a pillar causes it to fall and dealing damage to those around it. You should also stop the original warcraft 3 music in the initialization for it overlaps or overrides with your custom music (cool music by the way, It's like the music from the Saw movie). The giant brood in the map has a big scaling size as well which causes it to overlap with the cage, I guess you should either make the cages bigger or make the unit smaller.

Overall, this is a fun map but I really think that it can still be improved with some cool features instead of simply killing and there you go, it's quite common nowadays. Adding some twists and turns would really do. Fix those I pointed as well. Rated 3/5 and Approved.

In fact I did that. That's weird. Maybe that's the same reason Matija was talking about his map (Shinobi Showdown). Gonna check on it again.

Will update more stuff in future. So stay tuned. :)

PS: Saw theme song ftw.

Edit: Made a minor edit to the map. Fixed the problem with maps destructible being undestroyed. Added suggested players. Nothing much worth retrying though. More updates will come later I suppose.

Map is updated a little. The music seems pretty much alright to me without any changes. Is it just me or...? Anyone else has this problem with music being played together with the Saw theme?
