Adventure Mode

1. Mepjila
A. 1st ability Overwhelm Reworked.
Makes targetted units overwhelmed with abyssal magic. The afflicted unit cannot cast spells and will take damage per second for 10 seconds.
B. 3rd ability changed from Bash to Annihilation Ray.
Summons an immobile abyssal orb from the depths channeling it to attack the Conqueror's enemies. The orb is immune to magic.
C. Ultimate changed from Annihilation Ray to Conquer.
Mepjila conquers the targetted hero with his magic. Conquered unit cannot cast abilities or use items and have it's attack rate, movement speed and attack damage reduced greatly whilst taking damage overtime. Lasts 10 seconds.
2. Illidan
A. 2nd ability changed from Permanent Immolation to Battle Stance.
Illidan takes a battle stance slowing his movement speed and taking extra magic damage but gaining physical damage reduction and bonus attack rate and damage. Takes 2 times magic damage.
B. Ultimate changed from Finger of Death to Abyssal Portal.
Illidan channels powerful portal from the depths, channelled portal summons miscellaneous sea creatures. Summoned creep's power level parallels Illidan's hero level. Summons and Portal lasts 30 seconds.
3. Lady Vashj
A. 1st ability changed from Wind Walk to Mutate.
Lady Vashj mutates targetted own unit, doubling it's damage, hitpoints and armor. Mutated unit will die from excessive power release.|nCannot be used on units over level 10.
B. 2nd ability changed from Frost Arrows to Golden Arrows.
Adds extra damage to all attacks. Each attack stacks up dealing extra damage.
C. 3rd ability Cyclone Reworked.
Sends a cyclone to the targetted location tossing all non-mechanical enemy units in the air, dealing damage.
D. Ultimate changed from Serpent Swarm to Oceanic Tempest.
Summons a terrible tempest at a targetted area dealing damage and stunning all enemy units for 4 seconds.
4. Bilgefin
A. 1st ability Frost Bolt Reworked.
Throws a magical shard of ice at a target enemy unit, dealing damage and stunning the target for 5 seconds and releases a pulse of disrupting magic that disarms and slows enemy units in 300 area of the initial target.

1. Naga Siren
A. Frost Armor changed to Frozen Scales.
Imbues the targetted allied unit with icy scales which grant 10 hitpoints regeneration and 3 armor for 30 seconds.
2. Summoner
A. Raise Dead changed to Abnormal Raise.
Raises a Zergling from a corpse for the Summoner.
B. Cripple changed to Power Potion.
Summoner gives allied unit power potion to consume, consuming unit has increased attack damage by 20% and attack rate by 15% for 60 seconds.
3. Elder Hydra
A. Now benefits from Tri-Head upgrade.
4. Revenant of the Depths
A. Removed Sea Elemental ability.
B. Added Deep Shield ability -- Requires Deep Shield Upgrade.
Revenant of the Depths shields his nearby allied units, granting them extra 5 armor and 10 hitpoints and mana regeneration for 10 seconds.
C. Added Skull Crush ability.
Revenant crushes his targets skull every 8 seconds dealing 2 times damage and stunning them for 2 seconds.
5. Sea Serpent
A. Removed the ability to attack land units.
B. Added Fatal Strike ability.
When low on hitpoints the Sea Serpent has one last chance to strike it's air target dealing massive damage and killing itself.
6. Hydralisk
A. Added Toxic Smite ability.
Hydralisk spits high powered venom towards the target dealing initial damage, and damage overtime. Slows the target enemy unit for the duration.
7. Sea Dragon
A. Frost Nova changed to Frost Wave -- Requires Frost Wave upgrade.
Blasts enemy units with a wave of frost that deals 200 damage to the target, and 150 nova damage. Frost then splinters around dealing addtional damage to nearby hostile units.
8. Naga Royal Guard
A. Submerge ability now requires Submerge upgrade.
9. Sea Giant Oceanic King
A. Spawn Tentacle changed to Wrath of the Old God.
Spawns multiple tentacles from the depths at random positions around the Oceanic King.
B. Crushing Wave changed to Tidal Expansion.
Releases multiple tidal waves to all directions of Oceanic King dealing damage to all enemy units.
C. Removed Frost Armor.

Consumes an enemy land unit, slowly digesting it and dealing damage per second to it. When engulfing heroes Azgalor will be slowed severely for the whole duration.
2. Mephistroth
A. 1st ability Blizzard changed to Monsoon.
Calls a storm of lightning bolts to strike enemy units for damage.
B. 3rd ability Unholy Aura changed to Vanquish Aura.
Mephistroth instills fear in his nearby enemies, reducing their attack damage.
3. Gul'dan
A. 1st ability Firebolt Reworked.
Gul'dan channels his fire magic up to 1.5 seconds, then releases it to the targetted unit dealing damage and stunning it. After the impact firebolt splits unto nearby enemy units dealing damage and stunning them also for the half damage and stun duration.
B. 2nd ability Orb of Kil'jaeden renamed to Orb of Archimonde.
C. 3rd ability Mind Rot changed to Ascension Aura.
Increases the attack rate and life regeneration rate of nearby friendly units.

1. Destuctor
A. Burning Oil changed to Chaos Meteor.
The Destructer summons a meteor from outworld sending it to target area dealing damage and stunning enemy units. Meteor deals 100 damage and stuns all enemy units for 1 second.
2. Maiden of Pain
A. Life Drain changed to Soul Drain.
Absorbs the soul essence of a target enemy unit by taking 45 hit points and 25 mana per second from it and giving them to the caster.
B. Added Demonic Diversion ability.
Sends the targetted creep unit to the Twisting Nether and summons a Felguard in it's place. Felguard possesses the initial target's passive abilities.
3. Salamander Vizier
A. Abolish Magic changed to Mana Divest.
Suffocates the targetted unit, destroying it's mana by 75 and dispelling it from buffs.
B. Bloodlust changed to Mana Steal.
Steals 150 mana from the targetted unit.
C. Mana Burn changed to Refurbishment.
Heals a target friendly unit for 200 hitpoints.
D. No longer benefits from Mana Burn upgrade instead benefits from Mana Amplitude upgrade.
4. Salamander Lord
A. Now benefits from Flame Scales upgrade.
5. Eredar Warlock
A. Finger of Pain now can upgraded.

B. 3rd ability Battle-Hardened Skin changed to Perseverance Aura.
Gives additional hitpoints to nearby non-hero friendly units, Hitpoint bonus is percentage of max hp of Mountain Champion.
2. Akama
A. 2nd ability Feral Spirit changed to Exiled Spirit.
Summons 2 permanently invisible Draenei to fight Akama's enemies.
B. 3rd ability Feedback changed to Magic Protection.
Akama improves his magical defensive capabilities, reducing all incoming magical and spell damage.
C. Strength Growth reduced from 2.0 to 1.6
D. Agility Growth increased from 1.2 to 1.6
3. Naisha
A. 1st ability Sentinel Reworked.
Send an owl to a nearby tree or an enemy unit to reveal the area around it.
4. Malfurion
A. 1st ability Equanimity Reworked.
Causes rains of purifying energy to pour down in a large area, healing friendly allied units and damaging hostile enemy units.
B. 2nd ability Spawn Treetacle Reworked.
Unleashes 3 mighty treetacles upon the enemy.
C. Ultimate ability Mass Entangling Roots renamed to Entangling Forest.

Dark Troll Berserkers excels at hunting powerful preys, which causes them to deal 2 times damage to heroes.
2. Satyr Soulstealer
A. No longer benefits from Mana Burn upgrade.

C. Now Benefits from Skeletal Dexterity upgrade.
D. Added Arcane Seal ability.
Seals multiple targetted units with arcane magic removing debuffs from allied units and buffs from enemy units.
3. Dark Troll High Priest
A. Heal changed to Dark Summoning.
Summons 1 friendly unit from a target area to the High Priest.
B. Sleep changed to Nature Regeneration.
Restores nearby allied unit's hitpoints and mana over 10 seconds up to 200. Restoration is lost when unit takes damage.
C. Life Drain changed to Spirit Ritual.
After 3 second of channelling Dark Priest sacrifices all his life-forces away, releasing his spirit from his body then sending it to target allied non-hero unit to replenish all of it's ability cooldowns.
4. Furbolg Elder Shaman
A. Lightning Shield changed to Transposition Stone.
Reverts targetted enemy or allied unit's life-forces using magical stone, taking 200 hitpoints but restoring 200 mana in return over 3 seconds.
B. Rejuvenation changed to Spell Enfeeble.
Weakens the target enemy unit's damage resistance, making them take extra 150 spell damage from the next damage source.
5. Broodmother
A. Ensnare changed to Youngling Spit.
Broodmother spits her youngling that's within its egg to the target, youngling then breaks free upon impact.
B. Envenomed Weapons changed to Infest
Broodmother infest her eggs to her attacking enemy unit. After target's death a spiderling spawns from it's insides.
6. Satyr Hellcaller
A. Removed Bloodlust
B. Animate Dead changed to Reanimate
Raises 1 dead unit in an area for 60 seconds.
C. Now benefits from Backpack upgrade.
7. Warden
A. Added Dagger Hurl ability.
B. Now benefits from Inquisitor upgrade.
8. Shandris
A. Renamed to Priestess.
B. Starfall changed to Eclipse.
Priestess summons the great powers of the Dark Moon, granting all nearby ground allied units invisibility for 30 seconds.

9. Pugilist
A. Added Backstab ability.
Pugilist thrusts her dagger deep into the target's back, dealing 12% max hitpoints of the target as damage and slowing them greatly. If the target has less hitpoints than threshold it is instantly killed and the ability is refreshed.
10. Flame Thaumaturge
A. Removed Firebolt.
B. Removed Flame Strike.
C. Now benefits from Synthesization upgrade.
11. Lightning Thaumaturge
A. Removed Finger of Pain

12. Frost Thaumaturge

Furbolg Ursa Berserker flies into rage slamming the ground stunning all nearby enemy units for 1 seconds and dealing 25 damage. Chance to slam 10%.
C. Command Aura changed to Berserker.
Battle hardened Furbolg Ursa's fur reduces all incoming physical damage to fixed amount.
D. Now benefits from Frenzy upgrade.
14. Tharifas
A. Added World Wisp ability.
Manifests an extremely powerful wisp from the Emerald Dream, sending it to a target location. Wisp then combusts multiple dark energy to nearby random directions dealing 75 damage to all enemy units.
B. Now benefits from World Wisp upgrade.
15. Satyr Chaos Knight
A. Removed Unholy Frenzy.
B. Removed Inner Fire.
C. Removed Taunt.
D. Finger of Death changed to Impure Chaos.
Satyr Chaos Knight invokes the great powers of Chaos, changing his hitpoints and mana points with the targetted unit.
E. Animate Dead changed to Pure Chaos.
Satyr Chaos Knight gets overwhelmed by his Chaotic powers, doubling his attack rate and movement speed for 15 seconds. Chaos powers then combusts in the end, changing Chaos Knight's health to random amount.
F. Vampiric Aura changed to Chaos Aura
Increases nearby enemy's movement speed but reduces allies by 20%.

2. Admiral Proudmoore
A. 1st ability Mana Burn changed to Pulse Disarray.
Proudmoore dispels targetted enemy unit from all buffs and destroys it's mana also immobilizes it for 3 seconds.
B. 2nd ability Monsoon changed to Mind Rot.
Drains mana from targetted enemy units over 10 seconds.
C. 3rd ability Holy Aura changed to Feedback.
Proudmoore destroys enemy unit's mana with his basic attacks, deals bonus damage per destroyed mana. Affects heroes less.
D. Ultimate Summon Mass Sea Elementals changed to Mana Conversion Doom.
Proudmoore releases anti-magic towards the targetted enemy unit dealing damage based on lost mana points of the target.
3. Lord Garithos
A. Ultimate Avatar changed to Last Stand.
Garithos sacrifices all of his current health and gains additional attack damage based on sacrificed hitpoints and turns invulnerable for 10 seconds.

1. Fire Revenant
A. Now benefits from Permanent Immolation upgrade.
2. Holy Archer
A. Added Heartpierce ability.
Holy Archer pierces the target's heart every 8 seconds, slowing their movement speed and attack rate severely for 3 seconds.
B. Now benefits from Heartpierce upgrade.
3. Dragon Hawk
A. Added Aerial Advantage ability.
Gives a 20% chance to do 2 times total damage on an attack when attacking land units.
4. General
A. Added Bribe ability.
Bribes the targetted enemy unit with gold, making them betray their allies. Gold required to bribe is 35% of the target's maximum hitpoints.
B. Removed Hide.
5. Hydromancer
A. Slow replaced by Crushing Wave.
B. Crushing Wave changed to Aqua Refresh.
Soothes nearby allied units with cleansing potion, restoring their mana by 100.
C. Polymorph renamed to Figure Alteration.
6. Marine
A. Added Poison Grenade ability.
Tosses a highly poisonous grenade to the target. The grenade explodes upon impact, releasing its poison to nearby enemy units.
7. Keeper of the Light
A. Inner Fire changed to Divine Restoration.
Capsulates the targetted allied unit in empyrean magic, healing it by 40 hitpoints until it's fully healed.
B. Divine Shackles changed to High Noon.
Temporarily turns the time to High Noon, so that all allied units benefit from health regeneration. Additionally casts a High Fire ability on all nearby combat units.
8. Divine Guardian
A. Endurance Aura changed to Guardian Aura.
Increases nearby friendly units' movement speed by 10% and attack rate by 5%.
B. Now benefits from Greater Guardian upgrade.
9. Searinox
A. Added Majestic Flame ability.
Conjures 6 waves of flames that sears ground units for 70 damage a second for 8 seconds. As the flame extinguishes it leaves a crater of fire that burns units on it.
10. Revenant of Burning Souls
A. Permanent Immolation changed to Everburning.
Revenant of Burning Souls incinerates nearby enemy units in 800 area dealing 30 damage every second.
B. Rain of Fire changed to Blazing Skulls.
Creates a cluster of blazing skulls at the targetted area. Skulls explode dealing damage to all ground hostile units.

A. Changed Magnetic Haul to Magnetic Harpoon.
Apocalypse impels a targetted unit pulling it towards himself and dealing damage and stunning it overtime.|nLasts until the unit dies.|nHeroes break free upon reaching Apocalypse.
B. Reworked Iron Curtain.
Apocalypse surrounds all of his allies in undying willpower and defense making them invulnerable to any damage for a short period.

3. Ancient Hydra
A. Ancient Hydra summon Hydras and Hydra Hatchlings now benefit from damage, armor and Noxious Venom upgrades.
B. Changed War Stomp to Tail Dance.
Ancient Hydra slams their tail multiple times, stunning and damaging nearby ground units.

Nice update. Synthesize has a really big range and is also instant. Approved.
  1. Stuff is kind of a chaos, loads of mercenary camps and neutral hostile groups that require a lot of force to kill so basically the game is a slow drag of who kills these groups for loot using usual units compared to the neutral enemies, unless you max on tenth level dragons with Devour.
  2. Some heroes don't have glow. You can simply add it: How to add Hero Glow without Modeling
  3. Iron Curtain has no DISBTN, its icon looking like a green square during F10/game pause. Learn about icons if needed: Complete Icon Tutorial - All About Icons Many other icons have this issue.
  4. Aside from the fact that all abilities are just usual Warcraft III ones, some are imbalanced. Akama (what's he doing with dark elves?) has permanent invisibility.
  5. Dark elves have a unit called Shandris. That's weird considering iShandris is a name and the unit has a specific description and you can train the unit multiple times at once.
  6. The Eternals have more heroes to choose from but you can only play with one, not 3 like the other factions. That's not quite balanced and Eternals heroes have scripted abilities while the other factions have regular Warcraft III abilities.
Right now, it needs polishing, balancing and more custom stuff, like scripted abilities for non-Eternals factions and units in general.

  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.

Yeah the map does offer a lot of stuff for an Altered Melee because Adventure mode was the main mode I worked on first then I developed the Melee mode

Well if you played the Adventure Mode you should know that Maiev is the leader of the Dark Elves so in the Warcraft lore Akama helps Maiev so thats the concept I went with. Yeah some of the abilities maybe generic Wc3 abilities and I'll try to invent new abilities then. They maybe imbalanced because I tried to make the Melee mode hereos to scale similiar with the Units.

Stuff is kind of a chaos, loads of mercenary camps and neutral hostile groups that require a lot of force to kill so basically the game is a slow drag of who kills these groups for loot using usual units compared to the neutral enemies, unless you max on tenth level dragons with Devour.
Im afraid the chaos is still here and the gameplay hasn't been sped up. But the racial units received more scripted and custom abilities, some units are unchanged.

Fixed! There shouldn't be any buttons with the wrong path if there is please let me know.
Aside from the fact that all abilities are just usual Warcraft III ones, some are imbalanced. Akama (what's he doing with dark elves?) has permanent invisibility.
Tried my best to come up with custom and scripted abilities. There aren't many as you might've preferred because of hard it is to come up with abilities but they should be atleast better than all the units having basic abilities. Im afraid they aren't well balanced either.
Dark elves have a unit called Shandris. That's weird considering iShandris is a name and the unit has a specific description and you can train the unit multiple times at once.

The Eternals have more heroes to choose from but you can only play with one, not 3 like the other factions. That's not quite balanced and Eternals heroes have scripted abilities while the other factions have regular Warcraft III abilities.
When I first tried to fix this the problem did not occur to me. The Eternals race was able to train 3 heroes at each tech level. So I guess it must've been bug. If this bug occurs again please notify me.

I can summon illidan as my hero,but there is a boss iliidan in map:con:,maybe can replace by azshara.And in dark elf and eternal,I think the model need be changed.Why naisha and malfurion and jaina with their normal model?They should be more "dark" I think.

yeah it's because the bosses were initially made for Adventure mode that I left in for Melee mode as an optional mission. The map uses mostly WE given models because I didn't want to overload the map with custom models.
 
the latest version is much better and improved but one issue I keep encountering(not sure if it's a bug).
the waves don't spawn, the races start but the waves never happen
