Wars Of Napoleon 1.3

Map Info:

Welcome to Wars Of Napoleon! Diplomacy is key. Nations are preset and are historically accurate. Control massive Napoleonic armies with era accurate models and tactics. The goal being to dominate Europe and crown youself Emperor of the continent.

Features:

  • Unit battle systems:
    • Supplies: All units require supplies. Mana represents this. Each unit loses mana at a unique rate as well as a unique maximum. When mana reaches zero they have slowed movement and minor life loss. To replenish mana you must train supply wagons or keep your armies close to Villages, Towns, Cities, Farms. Same goes for Naval Units. They must make harbor once in a while or they will be handicapped.
    • Unit Veterancy: When a unit kills another unit in battle he gains a rank ranging from Recruit, Veteran, Elite depending on amount of kills. So an army that has marched across Europe is stronger than one fresh from training camp.
    • Flanking: When a unit is attacked from the side or behind it will incur extra damage and may be stunned.
    • Bayonets!: When a unit with a rifle attack is attacked by a melee unit and has the ability to switch to melee attack it will automatically. A man wouldn't keep loading his musket if he was facing a bayonet.

  • Economic sytems:
    • Trade: "Markets" and "Ports" are dotted around the map and each when controlled can generate income. Each can select a single ALLIED trade partner and start spawning "Merchants" when a merchant reach the allied Market or Port it will generate income equal to the distance it traveled. So the longer the trade route the larger the pay day. So a trade route from London to Rome is worth far more than a trade route from London to Amsterdam.
    • Upgrade Economy: Every Village, Town, City you own generates income. This income can be upgraded at will. So smaller nations can have quality over quantity if they invest wisely.
    • Conquering a territory: You must have a larger amount of units within the radius of a territory such as a Village, Town or City to gain control of it.
    • Raze: You can choose to destroy a structure to avoid having it captured. Once raze the structure such as a Village, Town or City will no longer give surrounding unit supplies or generate income.

  • Realistic Seasons:
    • The date starts 9/1/1796 and automatically advances at a timely pace showing the date in a multiboard. As the date changes so do the seasons giving particular advantages. Winter snows slowing units, Summer sunshine speeds units ect.

  • Diplomacy:
    • Open with chat commands. No historical events quite yet.

User hasn't updated the credits list for near completion and hasn't given any more updates or replies for at least three months. Substandard, I'm afraid. (previous comments: Wars of Napoleon 1.3) For complaints please refer to the staff or another...

There's a lot to credit judging by this list: Resources in Use by Wars of Napoleon 1.3 | HIVE
Also credit things outside of the site, like from games (including sounds) etc.

Are there significant improvements from this one?
Age of Napoleon ReDuX 2.7BETA

You could also make the description nicer.

Awaiting Update.

ADDITIONAL NECESSARY INFORMATION
  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.

I don't know why I need to phyiscal type every name appearing on the list to satisfy you.
It's the rules:
Map Submission Rules
Obviously you haven't cared to read them.

Open up a thread in Site Discussion if you want to ask for or propose a change.
I'm just abiding. And honestly, when it comes to credits I'm strict because those people used their free time to make those resources which others download in a matter of seconds.

I don't check any map if it doesn't have proper credits given.
So please take some of your free time to show some honour.
