Consider improving your description. Description Guide - Maps
This is very vague and not the most constructive feedback I have ever read, but sure I will add some more info.Consider improving your description. Description Guide - Maps
1. Good Detailed Description
Include thorough, detailed information on what the map is about, its features, and how to play it.
Recommended: Screenshots, videos, changelog, and organized formatting (BB Codes, Description Guide - Maps).
- Map category / type tags should be fitting, and not excessive in number
7. Credits List
The authors of imports you used (models, icons, skins, spells, etc) must be credited in your description. Note that if you're missing any, you can "View Resources In Use" below your map description of the map page.
Map Submission Rules
There have been changes over the course of 10 years for our submission rules, please take a look at it.
You have a previous iteration of the map from 13-14 years ago. I suggest updating that instead with these 2 points of rules taken into consideration. The said map is The Trivia Game v1.1
To update, go to the map you want to update, select 'edit' and make your changes in the edit menu.
Hope that helps!
Considering you are on Hive for quite a long time, you should have known how a bundle should look.
I take it there is a radical difference between the two maps then?Honestly if it's all the same I would rather leave my other one untouched as a matter of historic record. I mean technically this game was built from scratch, so it isn't really an update to the other one. I just kept the name to pay homage.
Will make other changes though. Thanks.

Will do a review soon, but there's quite a load in pending so please take your time while waiting for it![]()
I'm not new on Hive. Is not like I joined yesterday. No matter when you joined, you have to stick to the rules. A bundle without proper description and enough information is a pain. The Mario Castle is not my prior project. You should take a good look at the other uploaded 3 years ago. It has a detailed bundle as well. I wanted to help you get the attention of a map reviewer but you're totally defensive.
There are some icons that are green during pause, especially ones for the players (not the QM). I apologize for the extremely long delay.
Well excuse me, the point of Warcraft III is to be a RPG+RTS game. Why need all that nice lowered/heightened terrain and all those different doodads? It's just based on opinion. It is a trivia game. I am not adding random doodads in to 'make it look nicer'. The point of this map is to give people the means to run trivia games. That's what the map does.
But yeah wait for Daffa. It's your right not to want to improve anyway.

There's nothing false in the fact that you're not willing to make your map a tiny bit more nice looking. That statement is absolutely false and only serves to railroad people into making and playing games that you like.
I gave you an example, responded the same way you did, to make you see how I much I liked your type of messaging. Obviously, you don't like it either. The point of WC3 is to have fun in whatever way people want to do it. The keys to the map editor have been left open for a reason. You need to go play some out-of-the-box games to expand your horizons, there are a lot of excellent custom maps that don't fit your mould of 'RPG' or 'RTS'.
Who is the arrogant one here? The fact that I need to explain this to a hive workshop 'Map Reviewer' is actually quite concerning.
A fine terrain is a mandatory thing for any kind of map, no matter the genre. Check out the map submission rules and you'll see.Hi @deepstrasz, your feedback is absolutely ridiculous.

I corrected the issues from Daffa's first review without a problem as that feedback was legitimate, and not based on opinion. Using the review process to bully people into making maps how you think they should is a complete and utter abuse of your role here.
"sorry for the intervention but it's been months with this one"
puts it back in to awaiting update
Genius move.
@Daffa the Mage can you please confirm my fixes from your previous post and approve this map so I don't have to deal with a person who wants more trees.
This has nothing to do with what I like. Your map is basically another version of your previous one. You could have updated that one instead and that would have been it but you decided to make a "new" one so then some more quality is what I wanted you to put into it.

1. If Quizmaster is a troll, the question can make zero sense. This can be chaotic to a degree. Pray that your QM is not trash I s'pose
2. If Quizmaster or Player is empty, the game should end automatically.
3. What happen if Quizmaster gets DC'ed during mid-game? Any idea on that?
