Hmm, i wanted to ask if anyone make already Stonehenge because i want to stop my work at the olymp. ( The Temple sucks ) If yes i wont do Stonehenge, i dont want that somebody say at the end i stole his idea. So pls write a visitor message to me if u do stonehenge if not, ignore that :p

H-Bomber, go to view and then turn off info display, it will make the purple cubes of doom dissapear.
Also, you used blizzard cliffs, they look ugly, no matter what, use height variation since it's not a playable terrain (unless you want to make it playable later).
I can also see the end of the world in some pictures, make the map bigger and add a background to get rid of that and make it more epic.
The spam of green glowing orbs and fire in some pics look ugly too, use special effects with moderation to make your map look good.

Nice HFR its comming along nicely, now im gonna hve to work on mine. xP
More snow on top of those hills and more trees in foreground.

The fact that they are trying to be hills is what is wrong with them. Those are too jagged for your average everyday hill.

As ~Void~ previously said, they just look like mini-mountain ranges.

keiji, your hills are just fine IMO. I don't see what's wrong with them, void..

They have the definition of mountains, but on the map they are the size of small hills. In short, if you're trying to make them hills, make them less spiky and put some detail on them. If you're trying to make them mountains, well, your perspective is off and you should work on that.

Because I'm using doodads scaled at 0.10 - 0.20... With this, I can put more things in it, whitout caring about the annoying fog.

(I know that you can get rid of the fog by selecting "view entire map", but I like this way...)

here HFR, ill give u some tips.

Your Work lacks a certain depth to it. The Atmosphere ( which is yggdrasil and the sky and the moon ) are fairly decent.

- Looking at the trees, they are to small in front of the camera view. Try and make the trees in the front Way larger and try and make it so that you are looking from the ground, not the air.

- The Snow tiles on the hills clash with the envirnment. Try and either make it ALL snow, or no snow at all. Start out with just one even tile.

- fix the hills toward the back, They appear to look artificial. Try and make the hills go straight acroos the picture, and be sure to not make them look round.IF you can, try and extend the Far Z, and place far off mountains behind yggdrasil, and lower those hills. This will allow the picture to have more depth.


The Adivise i gave you may be a bit hard to foolloow, but try, and hopefully this helps you out. Cause im probably not going to have an entry (im too busy :p ive basically stopped all of my projects.)

Why you won't gonna enter? You have an fairly good chance to win at least in third.

And, man, thanks for the tips, I'll try to follw them, and, of course, my WIP's still has few details, and I can improve a lot. Thanks for your feedback!

Rofl @ ~void~ wtf is that, looks like a big blue turd in a cloud of blue blob.
Im sure its the image quality and not your work.
