Synopsis:
Rinascita is a nation of pristine mountainside, rich resources, and splendor to the elite. Its capital, New Ragunna is the epicenter for the rich, the famous, and the proud Imperial colonists who settled in this island. But it hides a darker presence... the Imperial colonizers occupied this once prosperous island for their own purposes, establishing concentration camps and commits any acts of war crimes against the local inhabitants. A disgraced local named Belial Avelana, having fed up by years of oppression by the Imperial Occupation Forces sparked a futile rebellion by summoning the dead to take over Rinascita. In response to this rebellion, an occupation Commissar named Francisco Belen quelled the uprising and executed Avelana in the process. But the rebels are not giving up yet, as all of Rinascita still under Imperial control with the exception of Fort Montelli, Fleurdelys Peninsula, and Fisaliagrad, the rebel's base of operations. Years have passed, and the island is still on lockdown by the occupation forces, one leader who reignite the rebellion and overthrow the occupation's government. Sofia Belatir, a veteran Priestess of the Damned of the Republic Legions of Arynetia, still recently hunting down the renegade Inquisitor Cardinal Adrian Maculata, set eyes on Rinascita to fulfill her dying parents' wish. With the Republic veterans ready for battle to set sail in Rinascita, the occupation ends here.

You will play as one of the Republic sub-factions to battle against the Imperial Occupation and the infamous Eldritch Legion which still infests this island

Characters:
Sofia Belatir - Veteran Priestess of the Damned from Arynetia and commander of the Rinascitan Strike Force.
Karatel Hardin - Veteran Republic General and famed executioner.
Belial Avelana - A disgraced native-turned-rebel leader who started the rebellion.
Algeroth - A Dreadlord of the Sons of Daeloroth who advised General Belatir to establish Rinascita as an evil Republic nation.
Francisco Belen - Commissar of the occupation forces who governed Rinascita with an iron fist.
Foghorn Stonemonger - A Dwarven commander of the occupation forces who summons Legatus Khans into battle.

Author's Notes:
  • Due to 1.36, the campaign space limit is 2.2GB, more than this would cause the custom campaign file to be corrupted. So I recently used Reforged models which has a large KBs and I use only five files or less. The campaign has been divided into Acts and I will update it occasionally.
  • DO NOT use War Stomp ability near the neutral buildings, which causes it to move suddenly.
  • DO NOT use the Dark Charge when colliding on more enemies, which causes the user to move uncontrollably. So use this ability within casting range of 700 or less or as it means for escaping multiple enemies or no enemies are around.
  • Play Act One first in order to work properly.

Act 1 Intro is too fast paced, the story barely being there or making any impact. Filled with one liners. Chapter 1 - terrain is quite bare and flat. The side quest is actually a/part of the main quest. The interlude is so short it becomes meaningless...
The campaign is good, but the dark charge ability ruins everything. Is there any way to fix it?
Hero just charge to the end of the map and just disappeared.
Like I said before, within the casting range of less than 700 or when no enemies around, use the Dark Charge as it means for escape.

Wait.. I thought all the missions would be in just one campaign, all the acts will each have their own campaign?
I'll play the Act 2 later

Edit -
I mean... I don't have heroes

You have to complete act one first.

Act 1
Intro is too fast paced, the story barely being there or making any impact. Filled with one liners.
Chapter 1 - terrain is quite bare and flat. The side quest is actually a/part of the main quest.
The interlude is so short it becomes meaningless on its own and could be part of a chapter.
Not sue why the player owned circle of power is needed for or if it makes sense, in each playable map.
Workers stop working as they do in cinematic scenes after the latter end.
Got a random crash attacking the orange base in Act 2's mission where the transaction is being made after bringing the wagon to the base.

For what each act offers, the gigantic sizes aren't justified.

Generally, terrain is in dire need of improvement, gameplay diversity is something you definitely need to consider as well as story pacing and engagement as well as character development and uniqueness/differentiation. Not including the techtree and gameplay mechanics. You could worry about those later once you have a better foundation.
It could have potential but for now it has much of little.
You've got the gist of it but should study other, good campaigns to get inspiration and understand the dos and don'ts. One thing's for sure, it takes time and mustn't rush like now.

Simple.

ADDITIONAL NECESSARY INFORMATION
  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.

Acts three and four are not yet done, so I’ll keep update it.

And of course, villages, towns, and cities are always on flat terrain. But mountains, open ground and unbuildable paths should be raised.

sooooo i just started the campaign, and now my whole army that was resting in the graveyard (cos blighted ground) is locked in it after my hero went ahead to submit the quest... that is kind of a weird trigger...

now in act 2, the mission where i had to defend for 30mins. of course thats too long to just sit around do nothing against easy enemy waves and only one entrance into my base, so i thought strike out. but game keeps crashing regardless of which base i attack, even after restarting.

So now i am literally just gonna stare at screen for 15mins doing absolutely nothing.

Oh and one of the enemy bases cant send creeps cos the only entrance is blocked by dedicated "defenders"

EDIT: ok i gave up, act 2 is unplayable. I think its to do with killing peasant-turned militias and some other buildings. It crashes on the khanless mission as well when i assault the base to my left.
