OOC: Still, does being the last known race in a dead galaxy make it yours? Even if you've explored and colonized a small portion? :p (no, they won't be appearing in the RP. It's the old Chozo empire, and thus, a different faction. The question is just out of curiousity I guess :p)

But Var, how can you know if it's a dead Galaxy when you only have explored a small part of it? think about that ^^

OOC: The ruins of past civilizations were the only thing they found. Lots and lots of rubble from multiple civilizations. Not even a sound that would hint at another race's existance. So, it was quiet. Really, really quiet. So quiet, you could hear a pin drop millions of miles away. Yep, it was that quiet. :p But really, it came down to the fact that wherever they looked, listened, sent their drones, all they found was rubble, the ashes of long dead races.

And, as they were more in the center of their galaxy, when the Chozo fled, (now known as the Black Sun empire) they found no signs of life, thus helpign to confirm their thoughts.

What this shows is that: 1. I already thought of it. XD and 2. That means that my combat and persuit drones are advanced versions of the old empire's drones. Their design was origionally meant for searching for life, or military scouting. Black Sun just made their newer designs into more military combat, and recon purposes. :p

Several more Alier-Inirans were made, and the thing to transport the minerals into orbit was completed. It was a giant electro-magnetic cannon, which worked especially well, concidering the minerals they were digging up were just as easily influinced by magnetic currents as metal

"First test with minimal load"
one of the AI's said, and soon after, a small projectile got shot out at several times the speed of sound, and it reached stable orbit
"Launching rest of minerals needed by the Koldir empire today" the same AI said, and a much larger payload was fired, which also arived in a stable orbit
"Okay, now that that's all done, next up should be to increase mining output, in case they demand more, and so we can build things ourselves, if possible, try to find other minerals, that the Koldir empire doesn't need" Simf said to the AIs, who began to dig, and build immediatly.
A while later, a Koldir ship came in orbit, and gathered the mineral, bringing it back to the wormhole base.

OOC: AIs in this case, means Alier-Inira)
OOC2: Gath, when are you going to respond? I've got a wormhole going critical, and keeping my entire empire stuck, I need a responce from you, or else I'll be forced to destroy you, and the entire slitherine race... better do something about that now btw)

IC:Meanwhile.
On the Slitherine planet, several ships civillian Koldir ships, unarmed military ships and Slitherine ships started to evacuate the planet, heading for the nearest system, which was the protected system of an Aquatic race.

OOC: Damn I keep thinking I replyed to that post.

IC: Zerentimon blocked the insane voices overwhelming his thought. "Kill us all? What do you mean by that!" Several fighters began to pursue the fleeing ships trying to destroy them. The one fleet had delt with the nuclear missles and begun to rain molten plasma down on the planet. In one instant however the two fleets stopped assaulting the station. He began to scan it and the wormhole wondering what could destroy them both.

OOC: Darkknight, it wouldn't reach a stable orbit. There's nothing to stop it. So it would keep on going.

exactly. To be able to exert enough force to get it to orbit, it would be too much to get it in a stable orbit, even with the gravity from the planet. And orbit is where the planet is whipping it around, but keeps it close. Like a string and cup of rocks that you swing around.

OOC: It MUST be possible, how else did the planetoid that crashed into earth, which then blasted debris into orbit, which formed the moon come there? As long as the 'cannon' is aimed correctly, and with exact precision (computer precision =D) and if it's not possible, it'll just throw it into orbit that is stable enough for it to not come crashing down within a week.)

IC: The readings showed extreme fluctuations in the wormhole, and a message came from the station "If this station gets severely damaged, or the wormhole is otherwise disrupted before it is stable, this station, and the entire system will implode into a black hole!"

OOC: and where did you read that the moon was created from debris? There's not enough debris to create a moon. besides, the soil there is different than the one on earth.

IC: "Asura, Get me the council." Reverana said. He had just come out of sleep and was ready for work. Asura responded. "Commander, we're getting close to the border. Are you sure you want it now?" "Yes. It'll take them a moment to get ready."

"Foolish young races always seem to kill themselve before we even reach them. Playing with technology you do not yet fully understand. Fools every last one of you. One more reason to obliterate you, but if we are to die in the process it would not help our cause one bit. Why don't you cancel the wormhole." He glared at the screen his piercing red staring straight through the foe.

Another chunk of my solo introduction.

With his camoflauge disabled, Quetzal figured that it wouldn't hurt any to use his radio. Turning it on, Quetzal shouted to anyone who might be listening.
"Anyone out there? Who is on that other bird?"
With no awnser forthcoming, Quetzal figured his fellow pilot had decided to play it safe. As an audible thud came from the hull, Quetzal was pulled to the more pressing matter at hand. With four anti-aircraft cannons and a flight of Goliaths all trained on him, Quetzal sereously doubted if he could pull a victory out of the situation without aid. After a series of rolls and dives, he was hit again. Although he was only catching a stray bullet or two, when he came in contact with a more potent weapon his ship would peel apart.
"You need to get those bombs off, now!" He yelled into the cargo hold.
"We're too close! Get us away from here!" was the unsatisfying response.
"You don't have much time left to hit that button," he replied, punctuated with a missile going right past the nose of the ship, only a meter away from killing him.
"This close, and we'll die!" was another unhelpful awnser.
Growling at the stupidity of the trooper, while pulling a dizzying corkscrew and flip, he decided to push his luck.
"I'm going to press this red button here, which will dump you out of this ship to fend on your own, unless you detonate the charges!"
"We stand a better chance outside than with your madman stunt-"
"Push it now!" Interrupted another Spec Ops trooper. "He's serious!"
"We're going to die!"
"DO IT!"
The other trooper didn't wait for a response. Slugging his companion in the face, he pulled a device out of his subordinate's claws, opened a panel and pressed a button.
Medusa charges weren't potent enough to take out a facility a third of this one's size without help. Unfortunatly for the Raiders, one of the things they enjoyed mining in great quantities was a black, tar-like substance that released a lot of energy when burned. When a lot of it burned at the same time, a satisfying explosion occured - like the one that was just about to happen.
At first, nothing happened after the press of the button. After a moment, though, a plume of fire came out of an opening in the Raider facility, and then another, followed by the door of the main entrance being torn from it's hinges by an explosion. A large tank of something on the far side of the facility exploded, then-
Quetzal was blinded and thrown into the back of his seat. A burst of light filled his viewpoint, shared by a tube of something that shattered the same windshield. Quetzal's ship was flying considerably faster than before, out into the desert wastes instead of alongside the wall of the Raider's facility, which was consumed by an enormous fireball at the base of the mining facility. The considerably high top was falling down, uncomfortably close to where Quetzal's ship was headed, but it seemed Quetzal had lost control. A small readout on his control board started showing him red sections of the ship, which far outnumbered the yellow and nonexistant green. Quetzal had only a moment to consider this before his flying ship smacked into the dirt.

Quetzal opened his eyes.
He was lying in his cockpit, facing the ruins of the Raider outpost. The tall tower-like central building had fallen less than a kilometer away from his location, and the origional foundations were little more than rubble.
Tasting blood in his mouth, Quetzal shifted - and was met with an explosion of pain in the side of his head. Grimacing in pain, he stopped moving and instead confronted the view he had.
A trail of black and silver metal - not the burnt kind of black, but the shiny metalic stuff his ship was made of - lined a deep, long rut that his ship had apparently carved as it smashed into the ground. At the rim of this rut was a hasty shelter and the commando team Quetzal had picked up.
As Quetzal prepared for another effort at getting up, a hazy collection of black polygons blocked his view of the team, quickly replaced by the other ship Quetzal had saved. Several Medusa troops dropped from the open cargo hold, helping three wounded commandos carry two crippled ones inside the ship. A pair of them approached his cockit, and when they realized he was alive they came over to him and helped him up. A horrible bolt of pain struck Quetzal's head, coupled with his vision clouding, and as it gradually returned he looked back into his seat as he was carried off. The same pole that had peirced his cockpit viewport had also peirced the side of his head, leaving a splatter of blood on the left side of the wall. Knowing what was causing the pain, Quetzal struggled not to succumb to it, but despite his struggles he fell into darkness.

"If we were to cancle it before it is stable, it would still implode" the commander lied (but your race won't be able to tell, becouse I'm of a completely different race >.>) "If you would just kindly wait for us to open up the wormhole, we will send you the information you need, and you'll be able to leave this system"

OOC: How else do you think our moon got there? It's larger in comparison than any other moon in the solar system, and it DOES have matter simular to that found on earth, also, now there obviously isn't enough debris, becouse that debris is now the moon, when the earth was only just solidifying though, there are several theories that a mars-sized planet(?) crashed into the earth, sending debris into orbit, which slowly formed the moon.

Ah. That was unexpected, but I can hardly expect everyone to abide by my plans. I have just one more post before my character gains a small fleet and sets out to colonize their third lost colony again, so no need for you to wait long.

The final bit of my solo introduction:

Quetzal woke up in a medical facility, shown by the light blue walls. His head was no longer hurting, but the tell-tale fuzzy feeling, as if it had become numb, proved that a sponge had been applied there recently.
Groaning and pushing up off the cot he was lying on, a medical attendant came over to him.
"Good morning. You got off pretty lucky; you didn't get any permanent damage from that pole. Your jaw is intact and you still have all your mandibles, and scans show no brain damage. If you are up to it, your'e free to go," she said.
As he picked his torn helmet from the table next to his cot, he asked about the whereabouts of the commando team he had picked up. He was concerned about them, with his job being their safe return, despite the difficulty they had given him about blowing up the Raider facility.
"You can find them one door down and on the opposite side of the corridor," she replied.
Thanking the attendant and setting off, he entered the corridor and moved down to the door she had showed him. Opening it, he looked inside. While the team was pretty beat up - one with a suspiciously familiar blood-splattered pole through his arm - they were all alive, asn so Quetzal could rest more easily.
Before he could decide what to do next, another Medusa approached him, this one wearing the robes of an advisor to their leader - Bahamut. Quetzal immediatly realized he was not in his old milittary base, but in the capitol Medusa city on the planet.
"You are Quetzal, the pilot coming from the raid on the Raider facility, correct?" Responding to Quetzal's nod, he continued on. "Bahamut would like to talk to you concerning your actions at that raid. If you would follow me?"
Following the advisor, Quetzal was mildly worried. If Bahamut dissaproved of his actions, he would hardly waste his time scolding Quetzal himself. Either Bahamut was impressed, or so utterly despised his actions that - but that wouldn't happen. Quetzal would have been demoted or even taken off pilot duty and given a gun. He was sure that Bahamut had something good to say.
As they passed row after row of elite guards and neared the leader's chambers, the advisor stopped but motioned Quetzal onward.
"I have other matters to attend to. Bahamut would like to see you alone."
Alone being comparative. As Quetzal entered the main chamber of the leader's quarters, he saw the mighty leader himself. Nearly twice as tall as any other Medusa, his pale body and red eyes marked him as one who could commune with the spirits. The most striking feature the leader had, though, was that instead of the average Medusa's mandibles, he had four extra heads. Two of them were playing a game of Chess, another was talking through a radio to someone about refitting ships, another was sleeping and the last was looking at Quetzal.
Quetzal bowed down and placed his fist on his head, a sign of respect given to leaders.
"Come, Quetzal. I have something important to discuss." Motioning for Quetzal to come over, he unfurled a map of the known system with his head. Most Hydra opted to not have robotic limbs as they interfered with the five different heads moving around.
"Your actions today saved the lives of a pilot and his twenty-one man cargo, Quetzal, and you haveshown other impressive feats over the course of your duty," he said. "Considering your actions and the loss of The Chimera, I would like to make an offer to you."
As you know, our civilization origionally spanned four worlds - Gorgonsa as well as three others, one of which was in another system. That planet has been unexplored for sixty years, and I want a colonization effort to go there. I was looking for someone to lead a small fleet there, and hope that it will be you."
Quetzal was momentarily stunned. Bahamut obviously thought him worthy of leading an entire fleet - although a small one - to colonize another planet.
"I accept, Leader," Quetzal managed after a moment.
"Good. We have another ship ready for you, although it is much larger than The Chimera. Go to the armory and trade your ship captain's armor for a more fitting set - the armor of a Fleet Commander - and then go to Hangar Bay 2 to see your new ship."
"Thank you, Leader. I will leave immediatly," Quetzal replied. Bowing again, he turned and went in search of the armory.
When he arrived, he was greeted and led into a side room by the Medusa stationed there. The room was filled with armor, mostly the dark grey that infantry wore, but there were several sets of black commando armor and, in the back, was his Fleet Commander's armor.
Taking off the blue helmet of a Ship Captain he had worn for six years, he took the new helmet - a striking silver, with black trim - and qickly put on the rest of the armor. Asking for directions to the hangar bays, he once again went off, this time earning second glances and even stares from other Medusa going by.
When he arrived in Hangar Bay 2, he was met by an astounding sight. A huge ship, almost two hundred meters long, was the center attraction amidst the smaller ships being attended. A Medusa quicklycame over to him, handing him a clipboard with the information of the new ship on it. Taking a pen from the other Medusa, he filled in the blank space titled 'Name' with Chimera, then poured over the rest of the information.
With three cargo holds, each with a capacity for sixty men, as well as permanent quarters for three hundred, the ship was obviously meant to house a small army in space indefinitly. It's arms were impressive - twenty pulse weapons, as well as fifteen missile pods and two of which fired true, explosive missiles - a very rare thing to find on a Medusa ship.
On the second page were his orders. He would take a fleet of eight ships to their second colony to resupply it and check on it's progress. They would then head out to the next system, to see if the third colony was still intact. If so, they would land and begin settling down, as well as search for survivors. If not, they would send a message back to the second colony, to be relayed to Gorgonsa, telling them of thier whereabouts, and then go in search of the nearest hospitible planet.
Quetzal handed the clipboard back to the dock worker, and then entered the ship. The most striking difference was the way the ship was piloted. He would be at the controls for the actual movement of the ship, but there were other pilots who would fire weapons, open communications and release cargo holds on his orders. After being given a run-down of everything on the ship, loading the supplies, bringing the crew onboard and finally communicating with the other ships in the fleet, they were ready to leave.
"Give the order for the other ships to prepare to leave and ask for permission to undock," Quetzal called out. It was uncomfortable, ordering others to do everything, but he alone would never be able to handle a ship this size. He would het used to it in time.
After getting permission to leave, he eased the ship out of the docks. They would go through a tunnel, having the city inside a mountain range, and just before leaving they would engage camoflauge to avoid alerting any Raiders of thier presence. Taking a deep breath to calm himself, Quetzal took off.

Alright, mato2, I'm ready for interaction now. Just one thing; what is your race? Could you post a link to your race's sheet so I can know who I'm dealing with? Thanks.

OOC: It will take a while to figure out who is who and who has what. Happened to me when I first joined. But then again, there were fewer races then. XD It'll take a while, butyou'll figure it out. The interaction helps a lot, and I haven't interacted with Gath or Elenei's races (except the monstrosities) :p

"You take us as crazy. We are not foolish enough to let you open a wormhole where reinforcements likely exist. However, you cannot stop us. Our will is promised and nothing you do will prevent your distruction. Bring whoever you wish they will be turned into ash like you. For now your friends die." The fleet turned itsfull force of the planet and continue to rain down molten plasma onto its surface.

OOC: Gath's race (name I do not remember) is attacking the Slithereen, protected by the Koldir. They had been destabilishing the Koldir's portal, keeping reinforcements at bay.

Crazy Cow is attacking Raiders in a much different system as he fights for survival. I sense you and I will have conflict soon. And it will be glorious for me. A beta test of my defenses :D

lol I'm glad I don't have to help defend your systems DarkKnight. XD I really feel like gath is a little overpowered. and, how exactly do you shoot MOLTEN plasma? It would just spread out as it went through space. It's a liquid, and has nothing to keep its shape. It doesn't sound like a very dangeroud weapon.

And DarkKnight, I'm afraid you may be mistaken. You say a mars sized planet crashed into earth and the debris made our moon? Well, here's a size comparison. http://homepages.wmich.edu/~korista/ss-images/planets_iau_big.jpg You see that mars is at least 2/3 the size of earth. I'm willing to bet that we have a moon because the mmon was already there, and formed as a DIFFERENT object. Dirt doesn't change just because of the lack of an atmosphere, as thin as it is. (You'll also notice that we have a planet in between mars and Jupiter. It's called Ceres. It comes in at a different orbit. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Ceres_Orbit.svg I also didn't realise that the sun was THAT big. XD)

OOC: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giant_impact_hypothesis And:

Giant impact hypothesis

The prevailing hypothesis today is that the Earth–Moon system formed as a result of a giant impact. A Mars-sized body (labelled "Theia") is hypothesized to have hit the proto-Earth, blasting sufficient material into orbit around the proto-Earth to form the Moon through accretion.[5] As accretion is the process by which all planetary bodies are theorized to have formed, giant impacts are thought to have affected most if not all planets. Computer simulations modelling a giant impact are consistent with measurements of the angular momentum of the Earth–Moon system, as well as the small size of the lunar core.[56] Unresolved questions regarding this theory concern the determination of the relative sizes of the proto-Earth and Theia and of how much material from these two bodies formed the Moon. Recent oxygen isotope composition analysis of the Moon shows its oxygen isotope composition is more similar to the Earth's than this hypothesis would suggest.[57])

My plan was to go to the next system over. I thought it could be one occupied by someone else, or if not I would stumble on someone while searching for a planet suitable for settlement. It's your choice, to come help or meet me somewhere else. I think the end result would still be the same, though (ypu liberating the Medusa from the Raiders).

OOC: I just used molten to explain plasma I'm not shooting a bunch of lava of them. I am just shooting plasma bolts and beams and the sorts at them. And keep in mind Kamica's race is far inferior to mine so I am much more easily defeating them.

IC: "They come..." The fleet took its attention off the planet spinning around to meet the new foe. Weapons powered and they waited for the new foe to enter. "You are wasting to much time child. End this!" The voice screamed in his head and then disappeared to the constant whispers filling it.

All the ships had now left the wormhole, and it was safely closed down, then, all ships went into the attack, using evading approach maneuvres, and the massive ammount of fighters that were just launched, would confuse any incomming target-tracking weapon. Meanwhile, the Slitherine planet kept on evaquating it's people.

At that same time, Kamica finally got the all green to go through the wormhole to the secondary system, and he immediatly used it, and not much later, he was in the secondary system, and headed straight for the main planet, to drop the people off by shuttles.

"Sir our scouts have reported a massive attack on the 'Kolder'. What is the plan?" Odin looked around and finally said, "Call for help from the Holis and send word to Kolder asking them for help. We then procede to attack the invaders where it hurts. Order all raiders too attack the enemy planets. Who agrees?" Half of them yelled "agreed". "So we have a split vote. What is your plan." As the other talked how to help this race. Odin saw the report on the search for the code. They were done and the plan was to provide help with the Holis. "Get to it, we don't have that much time before we join the battle. May you find a great battle." The other repeat the last statement. They would call a war march and the enemy would know true might.

OOC: Gath you up next, say hello to Lucifer to me. BTW What race will I be send into hell anyway?

OOC: Sol is going to request reinforcements from his Holis, and then ask the Koldir for aid? Sorry, I know what you mean, but your wording says that you need help and are asking the Koldir to help you. What you mean is to provide assistance to the Koldir. But asking for Holis reinforcements and then providing an aid request to the Koldir is a bit backwards, declaring that the North'throdir are too weak in their ships to help on their own, that they must rely on the Holis as the backbone of their military.

OOC: Not back bone. A group of large transports, cruisers, fighters. The Noththro'dir will join the fight to give time for evacuations then will go full out battling. The Holis would have already set a marker for a space fold. Then Gath would see the 5 fleets of Holis, they aren't as easy to take down as the ones you fought. The void will be littered will war wreckage. Ahahahaha.

OOC: Theres a problem with your "attacking where it hurts". I have no planets. Every citizen is trained as warriors and we all live in ships I have several fleets. One is the fleet that controls the "monstrocities" *keep in mind that these are not the same as Elenai's for one they are not the size of a moon but have much the same weapondary* and are presently in reserve considering there has been no need for them presently. the remaining fleets are cut in half. One half is the extermination fleets and the other half is the "breeding" fleets or rather the fleets that protects all of our breeding women and the children during our "breeding cycles" which are every hundred years or so. There is no breeding cycle taking place now so the "breeding fleets" is part of the extermination fleet. The breeding cycle also doubles as the "feeding cycle" where for a year or so all they do is invade and harvest every resource possible to survive for another hundred years or so. Right now is only an extermination cycle where every ship, man, and woman are fighting for the extermination. If for some reason they enter a derasterous war and are destroyed there is always one fleet that maintains control over a planet in some forgotten corner of the galaxy where they can rebuild if ever they stop receiving the "alive" signal, but good luck finding it. There are 3 fleets attacking the koldir now but the rest are in reserve if ever needed all in the shattered Shentarion's space awaiting a chance to kill. Also if you bare the Holis down on me I'm sure they will faint as they see similar technology to the Melodari (keep in mind I am not trying to god mod and my technology is but a fraction of the power of the Melodari). Also it seems Kamica's doesn't want your help Sol.

IC: "Keep close! Do not let them corner your ships! Bring death to them all!" The fleet met the ships with overwhelm ing fire power trying to beat back the enemy. Zerentimon's capital ship set its eyes on Kamica's battleship (if its there I think it is) and began to charge its weapons as its 5 tenticles swarmed around it ready to attack.

OOC: In essence, Gath is playing the evil equivelent of my Laminari, though perhaps a little more primitive (brutal, and less sophisticated) due to the dark age that engulfed the homeworld after The Revelation. Their monstrosity would most likely be a shadow, or pale homage to the legendary Star Fortresses that were the crown jewels of the very powerful, very sophisticated, and very violent Melodari Empire.

OOC: Yet the holis were able to hold off the Melodari for a time until the upraising of the black hand. They are more powerful then the Melodari could even achieve, Now. So Gath you would try and fail because the Holis had a long time to study Melodari tech. Ok, I wont help unless you ask? Is this ok, Knight.

OOC: Nope, Kamica isn't there)

IC: Almost every projectile shot got evaded by the fighter craft, unless it went for a larger ship or the station, and if it hit a fighter, the fighter either cleaved the projectile in two, or got destroyed by it while the fleet of 6 battleships and about 3000 fighters approached, a portion of the fighters already went into the attack, using their superior skill to try and destroy small ships and weaponry.

OOC: Actually, that was due to a time dilation field around your home-world, with warp ripper technology...well...the holis defenses are obsolete. But that was ages ago, the Laminari have since then ascended rather nicely under Laminad's grace. ^^

Our base technologies like Bio-metal, and our crystaline power-data grids are study-able perhaps, but the methods used to make them are top-secret.

Personally, I'm curious how you managed to get into Melodari space to even study our technology without being obliterated by either a Star fortress (which surely guard our precious worlds, trade routes that surround our worlds) or the defenses of the worlds themselves, especially given the time-frame that the Holis had upon escaping the plasma fried homeworld after the time-dilation field collapsed.

OOC: Yea, you can still be able to defeat me. Well then how about a friendly match. Winner gets bragging rights, and a copy of the other person's tech. What you you say, Elunai.

OOC: I'll consider it. After some study time. ^^ There is an old Melodari proverb:

"Just because one offers you a fair deal, does not mean it is a bargain."

On a side note...where DID I leave Kraken....Var...do you know? >_> Dear Laminad...I feel as though I accidentally forgot that I left a nuclear bomb in an opera house full of fireworks...

OOC: I do need to know where I left him though if I am to continue any form of Kraken-play xD. I'm not sure I'll fight sol anyway. Not until I've had some catch up time on the current Holis...(I thought they were all dead...)

As of yet, I'm currently working on a sort of...secret...behind the scenes story idea regarding this RP (The Laminari portion) that is going on. >_> <_< *ninja*

OOC: Well not the Fortresses or Hell Stars. Those are the great weapons of the holis. I might be able to create a Monstrosity with time but why would I need an unstable being when I could create a guardian. Guardians are anti-Monstrosities that protect not harm, stable as a mild mannered Kent. I going to build them as safe guards over live.

OOC log: Fortresses are ships that have heavy defenses (made after the war with you). Fortresses were remade when the Holis went back home (lastest). They are the ones with Temporal force fields. The heavy Fortress is a rare thing to behold because this is the hardest to beat. Hell stars are the newest ships in the fleet, there are heavy combat with all kinds of weaponry. These have a new weapon called the time disruption bomb. Think of a bomb that creates a area that slows down ships. Also carrying the last Red Matter Missiles. So these are rare too.
Current ships---> Fortresses, 10. Hell stars, 3.
End of Info log.

OCC: So is that what you need.
