The raiding party Varger heads to Koldir space. They had just warped in a neutral system before a cloaked raid upon several mining bases in a nearby system. "Cloak now and head into the sun's solar waves. We will not be detected until we strike. Take anything of value. Gold, money, tech, info and any slaves we can capture. Lets go and claim our prizes." The five raiding ships cloaked and started the hyper drives for great battles.

The norththro'dir knew of the gates that protect the black sun space. "We must not attack them until we find a way around those gates. Now we heard of our recent mission to claim valuables. This would aid us on our battles. We have our best technicians on it. The slaves would be a great addition to our entertainment. I mean better fighters, singers, bards and most of all, dancers." The people in the room laughed, this was because they had good slave dancers but they were acquired by the Holis. "We will have great feasts when they come back. Hows my army and the black hand bots going." "Quite well. We have the bots ready for phase 1 of our plan." "Good, now lets plan on our feasts."

The Chozo, Koldir, and other great races had received a request for a dinner aboard the flag ship. It would be in neutral space and in a few earth weeks. This would be a great event for they exchange gifts with each other. The plan was set and ready to be released.

OOC: Solmaster, a few things you need to fill in. first, who are the raiders. Second, why are you attacking the people who beat the ones who tried to kill you? You'd be facing a larger threat. and Third, who is inviting us? and why should we accept? It's not like we know them or even care. It's like walking around and inviting some people off the street over to your house for dinner.

Also, how far did that message go? and how would you know where we are?

OOC: I see you traded intellegence between the Holis and North'throdir, but your attempts to funnel me through gates is honestly a joke, as subspace automatically funnels me, with an entrance on both sides, instead of opening where-ever I see fit. :/

Still, I see you continue your obsession to enslave and defeat the Chozo. They have not seen the full, unfettered force of the Chozo. But, if you want to see it, all you need to do is get my warfarring serious. >:3

As for the feast... I think that one is an obvious answer. The past speaks for itself XD

But of course, the Admiral will not know of your gates, nor of your wish to enslave the Chozo.

OOC: You won't be enslaved, your too warrior like for that. The raiders are northrthro'dir and the only race not raided is the chozo. The feast is sent to leaders of the individual race. The holis has names of races that meet with the first sighting of the holis. (The black hole event.) So several races are invited to dine and meet with the Norththro'dir leader. This would be a great event and would be would benefit all. :) my head is hurting so I wont be able to reply any more.

OOC: Still, Sol, you won't be able to contact the Vultarians, or the Chozo by going back to the place you met them last time, since that was Gath's space (forgot his race's name >.<) and it's probably realy rather far away from the system the Chozo and Vultarians are atm. Is it realy so hard to understand, that I have one main system, which is isolated now, which was in the center of all the protected species before it got 'moved', and that there is a secondary planet, on the other side of a natural wormhole that still links the main system and that that system, is realy REALY far away from the other systems, though becouse there's no MAP yet, it's realy hard to say where it is, seriously, I haven't got ANY idea where everyones race is, except Gath's race, becouse it links to my Empire >.>

There are enough shipyards in the protected systems, and all ships that were outside of Koldir space with stations included, were declared free to do whatever they want, you now officially own this ship Kamica, isn't that great?!" "Personal gain is not relevant compared to this outrage, and to make matters worse, my entire crew wants to go to the home system, I won't have any crew at all" "I can run an entire ship you know" "Oh realy? Why do we have a crew then?" "For maintainance and fighter craft, and food, experts, scientists, all kinds of people "Oh right, you can't do all of those things then?" "Nope, I don't have any analog interface that could do that... ah well, shall I turn 'round and head for the secondary system?" "Yea, do so, else I'll get a mutiny on my head" Kamica laughed, knowing that there hasn't been a mutiny since 300 years. And so, Mapai turned around the ship, and headed for the Koldir secondary system, to drop off his crew.

OOC: Crazy cow, put that in the Construction thread. This thread is only for RPing, and relevant questions when we RP. Everything else goes in construction thread. Solmaster, you met the vultarans in the Koldir main system when you went to aid me from var. maybe you could invite me too? lol the only problem with that would be that everyone would be incinerated in the room. XD The vultarans do produce 200 degree heat. XD and I think you know that. Also, where are the raiders? (I also haven't been raided. XD) If they are in the same system as var and I are in, then I can see them. Remember that my ship technology evolved and revolves around the sun. I can see what most sensors won't when things are around the sun or when I am around the sun. XD

And Darkknight, it's vultaran, not vultarians. lol

OOC: The message is a one send and move on king of thing. It basically replicates upon arrival and the copy stays. It has programming that has a search thing. So once it reaches var it will head to the known locations of another. Certain races will be excluded from raids. Vultarans, Chozo, and Lunini are those races. Every one less has to fend for themselves.

IC:The party entered the system without any problems and started to get into position. The attack would come in time. "Get ready. Get ready. Get Ready. Not Yet. Now." The ships cloaking fields were off and they set raiding pods down to the mining base. Some landed faster then others. "Raiding party" was the signal to start the raid.

OOC: mining base? WHere exactly are you? I'm getting so confused. Besides, the North'throdir would have been decimated as they warped in, if their travel to the sun the Solar Mining Station swallowed, was short. The giant ball of metal is literally the ultimate fortress All automated >:3 So really, where are you? The Holis were gone when the other races in the beginning were invited to the grand opening of the station. :/

Besides, a way of getting a message to people is to send it to their bases. No need to waste time and make it impractical by searching for their personal ships of the fleet.

OOC: Solmaster, nobody knows who you are attacking. When I attacked DarkKnight, I didn't tell anyone because it would ruin the element of surprise. Besides, I gave so many hints, it wasn't even funny. All we know is that you are raiding some random station. For all I know or care, it could be a minor race that nobody has ever heard of before.

OOC: Well, as soon as the koldir find out, they should tell me. I did weaken them, so the raiders won't be expecting the Koldir's new rulers to come back. XD Besides, you wouldn't be attacking the main system, since it is cut off and I am still at the portal. lol

OOC: If I recall correctly, Sacrid and I are both in the secondary Koldir system (correct me if I'm wrong DarkKnight) But it's like the constant raids against me. Battle after battle from multiple races is not pleasant.

OOC: *laughing insanely* My poor deluded friend, I won't attack var because he has shown his worth. You on the other hand will be enslaved and/or kill. I don't fight losing battles unless I can get info on enemy races. Norththro'dir verse Holis 3, Not before your head on a pike and brought to me. So please go on and dig that grave. I don't mind at all. Makes it more fun when I get your head. Var, if you want any part of him, take it.

OOC: Solmaster, do you honestly take me for a weakling just because I comment on the truth? You can't beat me like that. I'm like var. Scientific, strategic, and powerful. The only way you'd be able to kill me is by godmodding so much, we kick you out. Now, my race has weaknesses, but you shouldn't be attacking for no reason. Besides, nobody will ever find my home system. I won't accept it. You also won't be able to get as close to the sun as I can, noting that your races aren't developed for high temperatures. The Holis have no reason to attack and the Northrodir defended me from the Chozo the first time we met. Now, I know they are opportunists, but they won't know that I allied the Chozo. In fact, nobody knows. If I go for the raiders, it's going to be me and the koldir versus your small scouting party. Trust me, you won't enjoy it. So I suggest you stop being cocky. You can't RP properly, you rush battles, and you ruined a race that was supposed to be honoarble. Instead, you made the honorable race that fights fairly into a race that attacks whenever possible, can't hold a true alliance unless it benifits them greatly, and probably can't keep it because they are greedy, selfish beings who want everything for themselves, probably by killing their allies when they want the technology or info. And seriously, you know so little about me, you'd be outmatched. At least I can get info. The Chozo and other races have info on you, so that means that I'd have the advantage. Just because I don't fight much doesn't mean I'm not strong. And also, a fleet of cruisers isn't going to do a thing. Cruisers can only match cruisers and cargo. I only have a few of those, and all my cargo is inside my ships. And you can't cut through them easily. If you do get inside, you'd be killed by the heat, combat/enviroment suit or no suit. Also, nobody has teleportation anymore. At least DarkKnight put a limit on it. XD I would hope you'd stop attacking and betraying people left and right.

One more thing. what's with your obsession of enslaving or killing? What purpose would you have for slaves? You wouldn't be able to use my technology anyway.

OOC: Thanks var, If me and him meet for real. I would have his head. He doesn't know about viking very much. I am a viking, so I know what and what not to do. Yes, the Norse were honorable but some of them were cruel bastards, AKA Vikings.

IC: "Raiding party". The pods started to open as heavily armored people came out. The guards sounded the alarm. The battle had started and there would be no turning back. They were Vi'King, the cruelest of the Norththro'dir. They wanted the riches of others, the grand experience of battle and of course death in battle. They had their weapons out and ready to fight to the last man.

It had been some while now, that they had the whole system, they had taken over 3 neighboring systems since the empire started expanding. Ge'Dan lead the assault on the last and smallest of the systems. It was inhabited by a race new to the space age, they were crushed immediately. Even though this system was the smallest, it was probably the most valuable, because of seven planets rich with natural resources. The Empire was expanding very rapidly, even more so than Ge'Dan predicted. Cities were already in the making, along with 12 huge new factories factories. Two large space stations were launched, big enough and ready to repair or harbor any ship. The third one was being launched, and the fourth one was nearing completion. "Sir, Major Admiral Qii'Son wants to speak with you." Came a voice through the com-link, Ge'Dan snapped from his day dreaming, "But of-course, patch him through."

A white, semi-transparent model flickered to life on a holo-disc, it was the Major.
"Ge'Dan, good to see you again. You've made us all so proud, but now i have to ask of you to take on another task, of the utmost importance. You are to travel to the Ogmintheros system and secure it. The probes we sent come back with samples of a metal that could revolutionize our industry. Good luck, and goodspeed."
And just like that the model flickered off again. It was time to get ready. He turned to the comlink " Release the latches, we're moving out."

The magnetic latches that linked the Lia Neeru to the space station released, setting the 12 kilometer long vessel loose. It was time for conquest.



OOC: I'm hoping to run into Crazy Cow's race in that system and liberate them from the raiders, while obtaining some badass metal . And i know this might seem as too much, with the factories and space stations and all, but it has been a while since i last posted.

EDIT: SoL's getting waaaaaay too cocky. This does not benefit the rp. There's something about his style of assuming command that just bothers me, i dunno 'bout you guys.

On both sides, the half-made wormhole started to flicker even more, on the side where the Koldir planet, Chozos and Vultarians were, a man said to the commanding officer "Sir, the other side seems to have trouble creating a good link, if we do not sever the link, we might destroy this entire system" "Yes, I know that, though don't you remember last time a wormhole was forcibly closed from only one side?" "Yes sir, no-one can forget about the Kiï failure..." "Well then, how much longer, in this rate, can we keep the wormhole from collapsing?" "An hour, at max sir" "Damn, they'd better create a stable link, or they're doomed" the Commander said.

In the slitherine system, the Koldir commander once again hailed the enemy main ship, with the desperately sounding message "Please, cease your aggressions, or you'll get us all killed!"

Oh and Sacrid, you seem to want to protect your conquered lands? I had send a global message through the system you're in, saying that that system was under attack... though you won't be able to go there anyway, so nevermind =D.)

IC: With the location sent to the Vultaran ship, the four Chozo ships turned around, heading back towards the subspace node. Preperations would have to be made to help produce this new alliance if it was to be. The Admiral could only hope things went so smoothly.

OOC: Well, I will start the RP now. Do not be alarmed, for I will be out and interacting with everyone in a few posts. But, just like a decent book, I'll need to let you guys know what's going on. You can also tell me if I'm doing anything wrong, so if I am then plesae tell me.

IC:
Off in the distance, Quetzal's target came in sight. He, along with three other ships, two tanks and thirty Medusa infantry were making a raid on one of the Raider's "small" outposts. Small being a comparative word; the mining station was enormous compared to anything the Medusa lived in. Towering over the surrounding landscape, it had already cast it's shadow over them, and they were still miles away.
They were currently flying over the jungle that covered most of the planet, but they would soon cross over to the sudden desert that the Raiders had made. During the first few months of the war, when the Raiders were still learning about the planet, they realized that having jungle up to the walls of thier fortresses was suicide, because hit-and-runs from the Medusa were so much easier with that cover. So they went and hacked down the jungle miles out from thier outposts, stopping infantry and tanks from coming in on thier own before being destroyed by the heavy artillery guarding Raider outposts. Because there were few ships at the time capable of taking any sizeable force anywhere, the Medusa were long at an offensive disadvantage.
Which brought Quetzal back to matters at hand. At one mile away from the outpost, the small group would preform a ready check and then cut all COM communication, because radio chatter was too easy for the Raiders to track. Many pilots lost thier lives getting tracked by thier radio, and it was now standard procedure to stop direct communication before a raid. Looking back into his cargo hold to check the tank there, he then radioed in to the others.
"We're almost at the border of the desert," he said. "How about that ready check?"
After the other pilots had radioed in an affirmative, he sent his own.
"Alright now, COM chatter off from here on out." Flicking a switch on his control panel, he turned off his radio, and with another readied his flare launcher and EMP weapons. Without direct communication, pilots used colored flares to communicate with each other and ground forces. Taking a deep breath, he prepared for the fight.

OOC: Personally, I wouldn't turn my radio off. What if something went wrong or the mission was scrapped? Then you are out there alone on a suicide mission. XD I don't know what's going on, but it sounds like you are attacking one of the outposts of the raiders that are attacking the Slitherine. XD

IC: With the meeting over, the Vultaran fleet continued away from the portal and wwent to subspace, aiming towards their empire. A few damaged ships, too many fighters and bombers in the fighterbay, and the need to talk with the Vultaran leaders about this new alliance. reverana walked from the bridge to his quarters and went into his alcove. The alcove activated and held him in place as he stood in it. (It's kindof like the Borg Regeneration Alcoves, but different design.) He went to sleep and his mind was put into the dream collective cycle. Other Vultarans were there, and Asura soon appeared near him. "Still wondering about this new allaince with the Chozo?" She asked. "I don't know if we can trust them. I know they stopped attacking at the first encounter with the Koldir. With all those other races appearing and attacking eachother, you'd almost think it was a game." Reverana said. the other Vultarans dissapeared and the two were alone in some sort of jungle. He was wearing armour, and was walking forwards. "Any idea of what we're chasing today?" "The message board says its a Crelacian." Asura replied. "Wonderful. Stuck in the water." Reverana began heading towards the lake.

OOC: I can't keep track of what race each new person is, and who has created another race, and thus, which race is doing what. It really is becoming chaotic. I can't help but notice that this gives me the advantage of knowing exactly how I can use my race while any opponents need to figure out howtheir race is used. :/ With this in mind, I can refine my strategies, while being confused as to who is doing what, and what each race is D: It's one giant mess D:

That sounds like a great idea, but where would we put them? They should be easily accessable, so that we don't have to memorize wht page they are on and navigate there. Perhaps a new thread? (Although that would get a bit messy and greedy, having three threads for one RP.)

I dunno about every post, but perhaps it would help to be clear if you transitioned to another race.
For example, Gath's new race. I don't remember which race that is, but that they are one of the growing number of races bent on destruction. His transition seemed so smooth. But, I haven't had a single post that involved Gath. :/ No contact or sightings whatsoever. XD Same with Elenai. No contact there either. The Chozo do not know of their existance and vice versa
As for Solmaster, I think it's clear what he's doing. Sacrid and myself use only 1 race, and I try to space out what I do to an acceptable timeframe. DarkKnight? Yep. Obvious
Others? Oo making multiple races, and all doing similer things? Oo CrazyCow's is easy as he is naga-like, and machine races.

But all the recent new races from previous players all seem to have something to do near the Koldir. And that is becoming a vast blur as everyone has something involving hailing a planet. :/

EDIT: Ah! A list stating who owns what races? Sound good. And, perhaps a brief summery of their tech too, or links to the post including their tech :/

OOC: I'm saving the Necron in case I accedentally piss someone off and end up with my home world nuked to ashes. I'm using the Medusa (NOT the NPC Slithereen) for now, and the Necron will wait. But this is most certainly a good idea, and an edit to the first post would easily be best. We need Gath_Stormer for that, though, and he hasn't been doing much here of late.

OOC: The Laminari are actually doing what they normally do. Stay out of sight.

They will make their appearances every so often, now that a few brief introductions of their racial typicalities were presented with Gath's old race. As of now, I believe I will resign them to a silent killer sort of role. In much the same way that the Monstrosity stands as a Shock and Awe blunt hammer against god-modding, the Laminari I think I will use as a blade, and a plot device, due to their ancient, and mysterious roles.

Their ruins are vast, and their story is very open ended...I actually prefer to keep them in an enigmatic sort of state.

Though, I would like to know a bit more about Gath's old race, and a few posts, I had something planned for their frozen planet a while back, but I need a few posts in summary. And a summary of the roleplay as a whole...I'm a rather bit lost...and that prevents much of my participation.

OOC: Well, Elenai, var and I just left the Koldir systems, after I took over the Koldir and the Chozo wanted an alliance with me. Solmaster is making the North'throdir attack the Koldir in some random system, and soon plans on attacking me or var, in the hopes of "killing or enslaving us". I don't understand why he's obsessed with enslaving or killing. and all the new people are spreading out slowly. I don't know what Gath is doing though.

OOC: I might make one more race and then rp with just that race. I kind of want to show off the tech instead of just making a description. I have done that with a new race I was thinking of.

IC: Dreno comes home and nods to an eldar. The people of the city cheer as he returns, confety flying in the air. He was known greatly by the empire he served and he was proud of it. He walked down the carpet and headed towards town hall so he may discuss his next mission with the eldars.

OOC: It seems clear we need to revise our systems. Perhaps we should bring a slight pause to the roleplaying as we continue all of theses discussions in the Construction thread and figure out exactly what we are to do and bring some organization to this rp.

Now will every one please present what they want and we will try to incorporate these ideas, but for now we need to bring a brief pause to prevent further confusion.

Also I'm doing the best I can but I do have school to worry about. As much as I love roleplaying and this roleplay I'm not about to fail so that I can become much more active.

OOC: Gath, what I did when I couldn't follow the RP is just read over the weekends. But back then, it updated much more, so I only read the last two pages, to get the idea of what's going on.

Shadow, what race is that? I'm prety sure it's not the wolf race.
