ah hell, i swear these were passive pets, in the end it looks completely inoffensive, it's a baby lol. besides it'll be small

@HappyCockraoch: well this would seem like the perfect opportunity to make a cockroach, but i can't make skins to save my life and can't find any suitable in-game ones, so it's not gonna happen... yet.

well here's my first whip, its some sort of gross amphibious cave weasel cricket thing. i would've used the shark texture but DvO already has it, not a good look to share textures.

Mulgrim, critters in Warcraft 3 range from 70 to 470 polycount-wise, so you're just fine.

was considering it, so possibly for a more awesome effect, not sure yet cause of the size. chat kept me distracted today, but i got the head texture started, tomorrow I'm working with internet off lol. 10 days will be enough to turn it in at the last minute (Im that slow...)

Well, a good example of what I mean is the Blood Elven animated brooms from WoW. And yes, they are considered critters in there.

First one is a complete joke, and the second one is just an undead variant.

Seems I'll have to try scratch animate my stingray model, since there aren't any wc3 rigs that fit on this model. Tried the Couatl (aka Wind Serpent) and the result looked like shit.

uhm.... that might be because I haven't made work on the proportions yet and because there is a lack of fitting textures. Yeah I could take the tuskarr for the head, but the rest of it is covered by cloth. And the razormane was pretty much the one with the most fitting skin :/
....Oh I completely forgot about the seal texture. that might work ...
